      Filed taxes with *************************** through this company and taxes were never filed. I paid my money up front And was later told I wasnt supposed to pay anything it should have been taken out of my refund. I called the company who told me they would correct the situation and it has now been since June 6 with no response. *** tried to call this week and it is telling me the office is closed. No one has reached out or emailed me and *************************** has blocked me from calling her. I filed my husband and my 2023 taxes and still have heard nothing but excuses. The taxes were never uploaded or sent to the **** I have text messages that I have saved and she even has asked for more money to be sent to her and not the portal.

      On 02/05/2024 I contacted a representative ****** via ******** messenger about filling my taxes. I was quoted $99 for the service 2 links were sent to fill out information as well as for direct deposit information. On 02/06/2024 I received a email with details confirming the amount of my tax refund and it was filed with the **** My taxes were accepted by the *** on 02/15/2024 and approved 02/22/2024. My refund was supposed to be sent to my bank account I provided to them by February 27th. Nothing was sent or received. I contacted her via phone and no answer and she always answers via FB messenger. I confirmed everything with her and then she told me that my tax advance was denied and I should have received my deposit by now. I was sent screen shots to confirm what I sent them everything was correct 03/1/2024 I contacted her again because of course no refund hit my account. I was told to call my bank and make an appointment at the **** I did both. The ITS provided me with information as to where the money went and the banks phone number. From there the bank confirmed the amount was not ***** it was ******* and ******* was taken from my refund. I never received my refund. I contacted her again03/04/2024 and I was told my refund was mailed the question was why? I asked for her PTIN I was told to look on my return transcript. That number was only 4 digits showing it not showing a preparer name that signed and filed either. On 03/13/2024 I contacted them again and at this point Im furious because I know there is something fishy going on. I got the run around saying they mailed my check to me on 02/29/2024. I let them know nothing was sent or received I then got blocked after sharing the information I just shared here. I have filed complaint with the *** but I need people to know that if you need your taxes filed do them yourself or go to someone in person. This is not a reputable company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO *********************** HIMSELF!! RUN!!

      Reading your complaint and looking at the attachments, this is another person or company that has gotten a lot of tax complaints and because of similar name it comes to us. From our research they changed their name a couple times and landed on the name One ***************** Our Rep ******* team has gotten many calls about ****** and One **************** because when they look online they cant find anything about that company but they see our business so assume its us.  That is not our company nor our company name though they tried to make it similar. Our company is One Stop Taxes not one stop tax service.

      I was referred by a close friend to One stop taxes the tax preparer is " *****************************". On January 27,2023 I reached out to her about the promotion she was having at the time " Next 5 people to inquire would be quoted $199". I reached out to her on that day and she messaged me via ******** messenger with a link to uploaded the required documents. . February 4 2023 she sent an invoice that had a price of $399. I reconfirmed with her that I was a part of the $199 special. She also confirmed that she would fix it. I wanted a paper trail showing the correction and never got one. The friend who referred me to her mentioned she put a fake business on her taxes. I went to my portal and saw there is a business called "Tamia Nail" and I made almost 13,000-15,000 last year. Nowhere in our conversations did I mention a side job, business, or agreeing to do fraudulent tax returns. from 2/16/2023-3/01/23 I texted and called her to get answers she would not respond. Once I received my deposit I realized I was charged 4 times the price for her to prepare my taxes after she said she would fix it to only then be told " she is worth $599" and would not change anything and there's no way I would be getting that back. Unfortunately this has caused me stress mentally, physically, and emotionally. I reached out to customer service. They have given me the run around for almost a month. I've been told they were handling it and I would be given a call to no longer answer my calls and hang up on me. This is supposedly the manager "****************". The *** suggested I file a ***** form against ********. I have FASFA for school and ******** is going to wonder how I made X amount of money and that affects my children's medication.

      *************************** is contracted **** *** with ONE STOP Taxes and not an employee of ONE STOP Taxes. Her Business "Royalty Financials" is separate of ONE STOP Taxes. We have no factual proof of the conversation they had among each other about the tax prep fee amount nor about the the conversation they did or didn't have about her side business. Our Rep ******* Team has spoken to both ******* and ***** about the issue and received nothing but he said/she said about those topics. After speaking with *****, our Rep ******* Manager, What we can acquire from it is that they agreed upon the items that were filed on her return. The client signed those documents confirming this. The client received and deposited the refund. Once the client filed for FASFA or ******** noticed, then the client wanted to have the items removed.  Once the amendment refund amount was quoted, the client wanted ******* to pay the amount owed to the **** On behalf of ONE STOP Taxes we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused for ***** as well as ******* but the amount you owe/refunded from the *** after a tax filing or amendment is paid/refunded by the client. We do not submit any tax documents to the *** until those documents are signed by the client. We have all the clients tax documents, a signed and completed tax return. I have attached a signed bank disclosure document from ************************ stating the amount of the tax preparation and the bank fees associated with processing the return. We also have a signed consent to use and disclose your tax information to the bank and ****  Lastly a general signed statement from ***** agreeing that any information provided was true and to the best of her knowledge and agreeing that she is financially responsible for any outstanding balance due to any false information given. So from our end everything looks agreed upon based all of the signed documents. We are here to help and assist in anyway possible. If ***** would like to do an amendment, we would be glad to provide that amendment for free and she can always reach out to our Rep ******* Manager ***** directly ************. This number will bypass the call center and take you directly to ***********

      In February I called ********************* aka Bayou Plug to get a quote. On this date when speaking to this tax preparer she asked me how much did I get last year when I expressed I only got back 12k she responded with oh wow last year i got everyone 20k. her exact words were I love dealing with w-2 work because i can see magic happen. however the quote that i got from another tax preparer showed a $5k difference from what she was offering. I was told by ********************* she will not file my taxes until she recieves a copy of my ID and all supporting papers ie: w-2 forms, **** forms and SS Cards. I never sent those documents but recieved a notice by email that my taxes were already filed. When ********************* was confronted she stated she was only trying to f... help and disconnected the phone on me. now 1 month later i get a notice from *** that they are auditing me and she already got paid for her crappy, fraudulently filing my taxes as the *** paid her directly and over 1k! When i reached out to ***** she refused to help and ignored my texts, I have reached out to a supervisor over 15 times to resolve this issue and nothing was done about this owner fraudlently filing my taxes without full authorization. Because she was not authorized to file as i was only getting a quote i am demanding a full refund of my hard earned money!

      Hello BBB, this is our response to the complaint ******************** had. First I want to thank ******************* for being one of our valued clients this year. We use a secure file storage system that all of our store owners must use to upload clients files and documents. Once those documents are added then the taxes are prepared and quoted to the client. They can either go with the quote or decline. But once the file is signed by the client and reviewed by our compliance team, it is submitted to the **** We have copies of the clients w2 documents, docusigned copy of her signature on the **** and consent forms signed by ******************* on 2/7/2023.  There was also additional consent provided via text messages between ******************* and *****. I understand when the *** sends an audit it can be alarming. We are here to assist our clients through situations like this. ***** was willing to help ******************** with the audit until ******************** became aggressive and verbally abusive about being audited in the first place, then refused the audit assistance. We at ONE STOP Taxes has nothing to do with who the *** decides to randomly audit but we are here for those clients that are willing to work with us to get through it. Since ******************** refused the audit assistance the irs made their own adjustments and lowered her refund. As a resolution we can assist ******************** do an audit reconsideration to the *** so she can provide the information they are requesting so she can attempt to get the additional funds from the *** that they adjusted.

      I am rejecting this response because: everything stated was a lie! One stop taxes never got any documents from me and I would love proof to show otherwise. When I spoken to ********************* I asked for a quote, she asked for all the information in my case and started plugging in numbers on her own free will! ***** also lied about helping with the audit defense or that I refused it to begin with because I had a family on the phone the day I called ********************* and confronted her as to why she submitted my taxes without all my documents! Now the DocuSign that I signed ************** specified that was only because SHE PROVIDED ME WITH A QUOTE! never was it to authorize her to submit my taxes as I had another preparer that was going to file it on 2/9/23! When I found out by email I called ********************* and yes became angry because she filed my taxes the following day she posts on social media if I didn't trust her why go to her! I have been waiting on a response from *************************** for over a month now to have this situation fixed which at this point according to this response looks like it's not getting done! Now *************************** was supposedly working with ********************* to get the documents for the audit defense to only not get any response and constant delays! I have several emails and text messages back and forth as well and non are what one stop taxes is claiming! ***** knows she did something wrong by claiming over 27k in deductions. The only reason why i got flagged to begin with! So yes one stop taxes do know when certain files with get flagged that's what they get trained for! 48k income and 27k in deductions? Then say I authorized it? One stop taxes has been trying to cover a lot of their agents faults and make it seem like it's the clients read the reviews on them definitely not the only one with the same issue of filing without permission! Again show me the documents that were sent from my email unless she took the information and did some crooked stuff and reconstructed the documents! I have emails that prove I never sent her any documents! No DL! No SS! No w2! NO **** documents! NOTHING WAS SENT! 

      now since this is ********************* error and negligence she needs to answer to the *** with specifics how she got those figures of 27k and they have to be submitted by 5/9

      Amongst other documents, we do have the w2s, ****s, and a signed tax return thats dated and stamped. As a resolution to this matter,  I spoke with ************** and she is willing to assist you in your audit for free. If needed she will write a reconsideration letter to the *** on your behalf since its passed the 5/9 timeframe. Would you please send a copy of your *** letter to **************************************** and she will assist in any way possible to help clear up the discrepancy with the irs.

      I am rejecting this response because the person who is responding is personal friends with *********************! It was a complete mistake to ever even call this tax preparation services and you learn from your mistake so definitely learned mine! As I stated before the documents you got were 1099/w2 because ********************* was on the phone when I called and requested to be emailed and she would provide me with a quote when she was done! The reason ANY document was signed was because ********************* stated that this was required to even get a QUOTE! show my DL that was provided! Show my social security cards that were sent! I was deceived and this company just keeps making excuses for their franchise owners and it's really sad! I just got a letter that I owe GA taxes and they are disallowing anything written on my taxes side! How ironic! This company is a joke! I have opened several investigations against the preparer ********************* and one stop taxes. **************************** ** was also included! So far from this fraudulent error caused by ********************* now I owe GA taxes $567 and got a penalty for the federal side which still waiting on that amount! At this point I have lost well over $3500 dealing with this POS company and do not want any of your fake reconsideration letters you feel *** do anything because if it would have it should have been submitted LONG TIME AGO! I will not stop making sure everyone is aware of this as it was against MY WILL! ***** stated I needed to send her my DL AND SS CARDS IN ORDER TO FILE! BY SURPRISE SHE FILED WITHOUT IT TAKING IT UPON HERSELF TO WRITE OFF FRAULDENT ITEMS! At this point I want my refund of 1k that was promised by the office manager ************************* (manager at corp) if you don't know what for, for the preparation fees that was taken! I will not stop my complaints and exposing this business and far more! I am beyond disgusted I have ever even ran into this devil but since your reading this *****. You will reap what you sow! I pray God has mercy on your soul! You should truly be ashamed of yourself! If you are not refunding the fees no need to respond as I am not going back and forth with ********************* and her friend who told ***** she was stupid for not getting my ids prior! Shocking part is I was told this all goes through quality check, don't they check for these huge errors? If not you have a sh**ty quality check department and need to reconsider a whole new staff!

      We checked his status on the *** site Wheres my refund and it provided this information. The *** made changes to his tax return that changed the amount of his refund. Their changes eliminated his expected refund and resulted in a balance due to the ***. The *** said he will or should have received a notice that explains the changes to his tax return. The notice was mailed on May 16, 2022 to his address on file.

      I never received my paperwork for my taxes until today may 23rd 2022. ******* only sent screen shots of computer images. I went to check on my tax returns since this company and its employees never answer their phone/email/text and come to find out my taxes were never completed, now I have to pay late fees and fines. I am assuming when submitting if submitted either errors kicked back or the file wasn't submitted. there is no proof of submission and this has caused me so much stress, I have been crying all day. you all shouldn't be in business what a horrible referral.

      Our contractors provide documentation to the client to sign off on the tax return before submission and they have a client portal to review the documents at a later date if needed. We have researched and attached proof that the tax return was signed and filed in a timely manner by the contractor. The *** does not charge penalties and interest nor add fines/fees to returns that are due a refund. The transcript may reflect not processed due to the *** backlog but the attached documentation shows verification that the return has been filed.

      ************************* prepared my taxes this year and signed my name and kept my tax documents.I was charged $983.00 and wasn't made aware until I received a text message from someone on her team i asked ***************** before she submitted my tax return how much was my fees and she stated she couldn't disclose that and to wait until I received my documents by email. She has sent me threatening text messages I reached out to corporate miss coke said she was the chef executive and she would review all text messages I sent but didn't call me back as she kept saying. After calling the office 70 times she told me she spoke with tonnet and told her if her behavior was unacceptable and she said she advised tonnett she should refund me I have also made a police report for harassment ***************** stated she was an county sheriff with willow ****** She never returned my paperwork and stated she added extra things to my tax return to get me more money back. She also did a ppp loan on my behalf I have text messages from the prepare and all these fake people ************* stated that the people that are texting me doesn't work for one stop taxes

      Our Store Owners are not authorized to sign for clients. The documents are electronically sent to a portal where the client creates a userid/password to login and sign their documents. We have those signed documents in our database. Tax returns are not filed nor transmitted to the *** until we have a signature on record from the client. That signature means that they have reviewed all the documents that they placed their signature on. In those documents is a breakdown of the tax preparation fees and bank fees. Our company, ONE STOP Taxes has not, nor ever will provide PPP **** Services. This complaint I do believe was responded to on our ******* BBB as well. To my knowledge any other issues has since been resolved directly through *************************** and *************************.

      I am rejecting this response because: the owner of one stop is full of b.s its been months before he/she decided to respond.and no I NEVER SIGNED FOR THOSE TAX DOCUMENTS HE /she wasnt present when tonnet and I spoke . She called me had me send her all of my documents to her cell phone which I have provided several times. I was not aware of the price or the amount I would receive until she had signed and submitted my tax documents. She sent me threatening and disrespectful messages once I called her to address the fees . She signed my name which is fraudulent and I have proof and I will *** if needed. And as fair as the ppp loan I have proof with her name and signature. She had posted that she was doing ppp loans on her page and she was taking half for doing it. So the owner of one stop taxes needs to speak on what he knows. Tonnet and I have not resolved anything. The owner is trying to sweep it under the rug but I wont allow it.

      We at ONE STOP Taxes uphold our contracted workers to the upmost standards. We have a client portal that is created once the client provides the store owner with their tax documents. In order to get the documents signed they are sent electronically through this portal that the client has to create a Userid/Password for. Due to security purposes we do not know the password nor can we reset the password. It is all on the clients end. Once the client signs then it comes back into our software as signed. That is how signatures are taken from ONE STOP Taxes. They are then sent to a compliance department to be reviewed and transmitted. It is only transmitted if we have all of the clients tax documents to match their info that is in the software, the clients Driver's License, social security cards, banking information, and signature. We have all of this information in the client portal. We also record all calls that come in to our Rep ******* ********** and have the recording from when ************* has called us. ONE STOP Taxes does not nor never have done anything with PPP Loans. We are sorry for any issues you have had, we at ONE STOP Taxes can only help you with what we do and that is get your tax refund, and it shows it was deposited to the client.  This seems like personal issues between ************** and ******* dealing with mainly signing a PPP loan and not ONE STOP Taxes. We can only speak for ONE STOP Taxes so please direct any other concerns directly to *****************.

      My tax preparer prepared my taxes without my authorization When I contacted corporate I had to go back and forth before actually speaking to somebody.I had several people from the company saying that they were the *** or COO are somebody in charge. In which ***** knew what they were doing and all my personal/private information was out their. My taxes we all files incorrectly which caused me much stress & worries. I tried to be patient and let them correct what was wrong but the more and more the person on the phone informed me of what was not stated/agreed to ****** me off even more and flustered me to the core. How could this place be in business doing people this way at a time when everyone is waiting and depending on their refund. I am so unsatisfied with the quality of this service from my return being prepared wrong and me not being able to get in contact with someone and then when I did the information that was relayed was incorrect. In the end my return is not correct and I still have to pay fee's and deal with a less of a return due to the fact they ****** everything all up.

      Hello, we have spoken with the client and resolved the issue. ****** was informed that when the return pays out her preparer will correct the issue of amending the file to add the W2 ****** omitted. Her refund was filed successfully and paid out so now we can move forward with amending the return to add the W2 ****** left off.
