      I bought two $200 vanilla **** gift cards, for mothers day to give to my mom,and neither card is working.I called to report the problem and I sent in all the required documentation and the problem is not solved,I feel like I have been scammed out of my $412.

      I received a $100 gift card as a gift. This card was purchased with cash at the ********, ** Target store.I checked my balance on **************** and it shows a zero balance. Somehow, this card was used at a ******* store in *******. I live in ********* and did not use this card in *******. Interesting that they require the purchase of the card via cash only but would allow the card be used without using the actual card. And how would the 3 digit code by known? There was also an unsuccessful use in **********. I notified InComm that this card amount was stolen. They responded to my claim by only saying that they have closed the dispute on this card. They did not explain what type of investigation, if any, was completed on the card, but you would clearly see that I did not use the card. I asked them to review the case, but the email address I was provided by their Customer ********************** agent was not valid. I would prefer a cashier's check for the scammed $100.

      This company ************* its product as offering a no fee prepaid credit card called Bluebird, associated with ****************. Email saying the card had been mailed gave a phone number to call if the card never came, which it didn't. When I called that number, getting through to a human took several calls to work through the choices on the automated system - there was no choice for reporting not having received the card. Once I got a human on the line, the amount of personal data the agent required to verify my identity started setting off every suspicion - it was like speaking to a classic scammer. I could not get an answer about when the card was mailed to me, and then they were requiring email of documentation to verify my address, such as driver's license or passport After the experience, I searched for Incomm online and discovered tons of complaints and negative stories. I have closed the account and put freezes on my credit with all three bureaus. I was suckered onto believing this was legitimate because of the supposed ***************** Don't be fooled. I'd given this business no stars if I could.

      For some reason- they locked a 200$ giftcard. It was virtual- I sent in all required info. In February, I was told it would be 30 days for reimbursement and they'd have to send a check. I agreed to the terms. March 10th I was emailed, stating my claim had been processed and check would be mailed, arriving in 7-10 business days. As of today, April 2nd. No check. I called the company. They say now to wait 7-10 more days for an update- check has never been mailed. I dont mind waiting a bit extra, but company seems to be in no rush to make good on their policies

      I received a $500 ************ gift card. Unfortunately, more than 100 transactions of approximately $4 went through in less than two hours. I contacted *******'s customer **********************, who sent me a form to complete to claim the fraudulent amount on the card. After returning the form 4 times, I quickly realized that I would never be reimbursed. The response from customer ********************** is always the same! We did not receive your form, you should return it again! There are groups on ******** complaining about the same problem as me. I don't understand how this company can continue to sell its cards in stores.

      I'd give 0 stars if I could. I got a $200 gift card (not opened, or damaged) for my husband to use while traveling and when I got home from purchasing it and handed it to him to activate, he checked the balance and it was $3. While I was driving someone bought stuff from ***********. we dealt with customer ********************** over a couple of days. They said they'd check to see what they could do and get back to us. Months past and no response when I'd ask for an update. Here we are almost a year later and an envelope from them arrived. Inside was a card with my husbands name on it to activate. So he did. And checked the balance, it has the same freaking information as the compromised card even though the card numbers are different. Even has the activation date of the old card. Absolute scam. I will never get any of their gift cards again and an going out of my way to advise everyone I know or see looking to buy one to avoid them. Unless they want to have their money stolen and left high and dry and ran around customer ********************** limbo.

      My sister purchased a $100 ************ gift card for my birthday last *********. She mailed it to me and when it arrived, the card had been ripped owned and the card was stolen. Luckily my sister had included the electronic card activation receipt from ********* the location where she purchased it. Following instructions from the Vanilla Card website I reported the card was stolen from the envelope. They quickly deactivated the card **** began the process to replace the card which they told me they would do. They gave me a case file number and told me I was all set. Well fast forward 9 months later, they have had me jump through hoop, after hoop, asking me to faxing the receipt, which I did, then would add other requirements once that was received by them. Next they said the my needed the original purchase receipt from the location where it had been purchased, which my sister got from the ********* record of purchases. Once I notified them I had a copy of the original store receipt, they wanted me to fax a copy it along with a copy of my drivers license, a copy of a utility bill with my mailing address. I asked them if that was faxed how long would it take to get a replacement card. They said it would take at least 30 days to review everything I sent them. I told them I did not feel comfortable sending my personal information. All I can say is that this is a SCAM. Their so called customer ********************** is a fine tuned SCAM service. I have talked to at least 7 different people and ask ** their location. Which they wont tell you, I asked for a number in *******, the companies headquarters. They said they could not give it to me. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she gave me a bogus fax and phone number. So wondering how the ** can give this company such a high rating?? My sister said she has purchased hundreds of theses gift cards over the years and will never againa check is the way to go from now on!! Melody

      Right on ************ website, can be used for online purchases. Purchased failed. Called support a customer ********************** told me he fixed it, and should work now. I tried again it did not work. So I called customer ********************** again and was told card can only be used for in store purchases..Why do you think I bought the card at a store.. to buy something I cant get at the store.. False advertising lawsuit?

      Got a Vanilla Gift card for Christmas. Tried to use it. Wouldnt work, but the money came out. Merchant online dosnt know about the sale. Filed a claim with vanilla and they locked the whole card down. When I call the number to check the status it says to check online for updates and when I go online it says to call the number on the card. I cant get ahold of any personnel. Extremely frustrating considering I needed this money to eat with. *****.

      I earned over $550 in rewards and before I could use the gift card the money had already been spent. I submitted a dispute and waited the 90 days as advised. They never emailed me with the response to the investigation. When I called to inquire I was told they did not detect any fraud. I have emailed them several times asking for an explanation of their findings and have yet to receive a response. The money was spent in a totally different city than the one I live in and I never received a phone to ask me any questions during the investigation. I have been fighting this since October 2024. They need to be held accountable. This company is very unprofessional and from the other reviews I have seen, this is common practice for them. The only reason they are getting 1 star is because it is required.
