    I dont reside in the state of Georgia and did not think about filing a complaint until someone today suggested that I do so, Additionally, Ive had some health issues ( thyroid surgery and chemotherapy) since this appointment and those issues had to take priority.I visited Razorchic Salon in either April or May of 2019. She was an hour appointment late due to a doctors appointment. The service that I scheduled to receive consisted of a relaxer and color. Her assistant washed and blow dried my hair prior to relaxing it, which is abnormal in the hair industry. When I asked her assistant about this she stated that it was to remove build up. The owner, *******, finally arrived and relaxed my hair. Of course, the relaxer burned upon applying. After relaxing my hair, she started the color lifting process since I wanted to go blonde. I was there all day, but I didnt complain as this is expected when a color process is involved. The color process burned as well. After many hours, we cut my hair and I left. It is not standard process to relax hair and then bleach it in the same appointment as this can cause hair loss and it did. About a month later, I had to cut all of the blonde out of my hair as my hair was falling out. Razor chic salon advertises as a luxury salon experienced with hair loss when in fact they actually cause hair loss. My service was over $800 as I had two deposits on file.

    First heard of Razorchic -aka-Jasmine thru social media (IG) and was amazed. Booked an almost $400 appt (as a deposit). Had a back & forth with their assistance when I asked why they were demanding cash for final payment when it was not indicated on their site. Appeared at the ** location for the first time to get my hair done- was then rejected because they said they dont accept credit cards; I was told either forfeit my deposit or wait till 2024. 5/20/24 arrived an hour early for my 3pm appt. Appeared at the SECOND location (as I was informed that the location had changed) after having waited in front of the FIRST location (quickly realized in 2023 that theyre a bit unorganized and unprofessional, but I digress). While waiting for the purple to be applied with bleach blond in my hair, I was handed a $1316.50 bill (minus $350/2023 deposit). After my heart started beating again I advised them I wasnt aware the bill would be nearly $1700. They then began telling me what theyre deleting in the services: hair cut (went home with a half azz haircut because they refused to complete this service); the wrong purple color (which I clearly showed them beforehand- the color applied looked like an Easter egg- Lawd have mercy). I feel its very unprofessional to accept over a $1000 worth of service and leave the customer having to cut their own hair and be very uncomfortable sporting a purple Easter egg on their head. I would have had no problem getting the money to them through credit card but they rather have the customer leave unhappy. I left in positive spirits because thats how REAL southern hospitality is expressed.
