            This is a law firm; I reached out to their sister firm for assistance in suing a medical provider for negligence in the death of my child. I was referred from that law firm to them. I was told that I had a very strong case and they asked for my medical records which I sent. A month went by and I hadnt heard back so I started calling. I was told repeatedly that my medical records had not been reviewed yet and to allow more time which I did. After over two months, I called and again inquired about the status of my case. And at this point, I asked for the reason why my medical record still had not been reviewed and the case manager that was assisting me, ******************, became irate and informed me that my case was going to be closed. I went through this process with this firm for over four months, and I think that its unethical and extremely ridiculous to end a persons case because they have questions. There is a statute of limitations on these type of cases and, not ony do I have to suffer with the loss of my daughter, but I also have to now suffer with being treated extremely unprofessionally by this law firm. I have reached out to them several times since just to obtain my medical records from them so that I can seek representation elsewhere. No one will return my calls. I only got to speak with my attorney one time in four months. I definitely think that this type of behavior is only allowed because its probably the attitude of the attorneys as well. Again, I would like to request the return of my documents, particularly my medical files, from this law firm.

            This potential client was never told she had a strong case. All cases must be investigated for merit prior to filing suit. The client told us she had another law firm interested in her case and demanded we file her case prior to conclusion of our investigation. She was abrasive with staff as well in her demands. It is unethical to file a case without completion of review and expert opinions. Therefore we rejected her medical malpractice case.
