After reviewing my documents in a safe place, I noticed $5000.00 missing from the list of fees and settlement money to be returned to me. They list case fee, lawyer fee and the amount owed to me but after calculating each and subtracting all from my settlement amount, $5000.00 is missing and not accounted for. My experience was just like the experiences listed on here. The law firm sucked with communication. I had to constantly reach out to them. The disposition was horrible. The attorney signed to my case was unprepared. Just like several complaints, the attorney signed to my case left the firm. The mediation was traumatic. I was bullied. I was bullied to sign a document. Bullied into not taking it to trial which felt like threats. They literally didnt fight for me. I could have represented myself. I believe they were paid off by the company because their actions showed they were on the defense side and not their clients side. Every time I asked to speak with ***** Monge they sent me to other peoples voicemails instead. I want to know what happened to that $5000.0 because the paperwork is not correct. Somebody is pocketing that extra money that is due to me. Do not hire them please read the reviews. The process was shady.Initial Complaint

I was injured in an auto accident in April 2023 and Monge and Associates were my lawyers. I was working with the case manager primarily instead of the attorney. The case manager called in December 2023 and informed me I would receive my settlement check in December 2023, which I have still not received. It is now February 2025. I've been calling for weeks, and no one will return my call, it just goes to voicemail. I keep getting the run around. How is a legal law firm able to deceive clients in this way? There is a report with the company named ******************* informed me that I have on my drivers record an accident stating I have an accident twice same date. On Feb.27, 2021 I was involved in accident. A hit and run with me being the victim I was the only one in my vehicle. Verisk has on my record that there are 2 accidents same information only my daughter. My daughter is was on my policy at that time since college. However she was not in an accident with me. Check police report. Monge filed a report on her also.This has dis credit my drivers record I have never had a ticket or accident this report has ruined my credibility if I want to change my auto insurance this report denies my credit as bad record. Won a lawsuit and the attorney we hired paid us with a bad check, They sent another one and it was bad and then my bank spoke to them and did step by step with them how to wire us the money to our account and they still have given us are money. I have been in communication with **** for years now. We've received settlement offers and false promises. We never actually received a settlement or response without being us who initiated the conversation. The situation was devastating and still continues to haunt our family. We've spoken with multiple people within the company and no help. We truly thought we trusted the correct attorney. Nobody has a solution or calls back. Hired the team at the law firm to handle a vehicle accident. They told me to get all these medical exams (which cost money) and they are preparing a settlement for the insurance company of the at fault party. We signed all the paperwork and they said we will receive a response in 60 days. That was over two months ago. Have tried calling and emailing to no avail. I was in a car accident that involved me being hit while waiting at a red light in Nov 2023. I retained Monge & Associates soon after and I'm beginning to regret it. I have not received an update since giving them my case. I figured it would take some time, but after nearly 6 month I have yet to get any correspondence. I've tried calling and texting someone named ****** for a status, but I get nothing. Then I get a text today from ****** stating he is no longer working my case and to call some other number he gave. I wasn't informed that my case was transferred to another attorney by any means...tried calling that number and got transfered to a hold by 2 different people then had to leave a voice-mail. 6 months no updates and no communication. After seeing these other complaints and experiencing this level of professionalism, I'm starting to regret choosing this firm.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: This is my second complaint since April this year. They claim to have tried to contact me, but I have not received any correspondence. If you called and didn't get me, why no voice mail? Why no text? Why does NO ONE pick up the phone when I call the numbers you provide...I can't even leave a voice mail for these people! The phone just rings until I hang up. This has been going on since November 2023! Best thing at this point is try and find another firm that will at least communicate with me. It's bad enough dealing with my injuries...this level of service makes things worse.

****************** claimed that the hospital account balance was fraudulent and that we were trying to scam him out of his money. We sent documentation to him showing that this was not the case, that we actually got a reduction on an extremely large lien for him, and that he was notified of all this previously and signed the paperwork accepting and acknowledging the same.

In 2020 I got into a car accident while pregnant. I was referred to his law firm and they are trash. They dont give me updates when I called the hang up in my face they lie and say that the case ready but nothing Im getting all I asked for was an update, and I was really spoken to by receptionist when I asked to be transferred to a manager. They gave me my first check, which was not worth what I was an accident for because I had to have my baby early due to a car accident and almost losing her life. They gave me a little over 3K and the same for my baby.Business Response
