Current Alerts For This Business
Specifically, many consumers have alleged instances where they were initially informed of a specific doctor for their surgery, only to have a different doctor perform the procedure without proper notification. Multiple reports have highlighted procedures being botched, with patients not receiving appropriate pain medications during surgery. Others allege they were quoted one price for a medical procedure but billed a higher amount, with additional charges added after initial consultations. Complaints also include allegations of late or no notice for cancellations or rescheduling of surgeries, leading to more expenses due to fees previously invested for lodging and travel. Additionally, consumers have expressed frustration over the lack of refunds after providing medical documentation explaining the consumer wasn’t a good candidate for the elected surgery due to other health concerns.

On May 21, 2024, I paid $12,700 for two services from Goals Plastic Surgery: a 360 liposuction and a breast lift augmentation. However, they only performed the 360 liposuction and attempted to cancel the entire procedure on the day of my scheduled travel, despite confirming it earlier. When I tried to reschedule, they informed me that the performing doctor no longer provides services in Atlanta. After over a week of attempting to resolve the issue with Goals Plastic Surgery, during which they refused to refund my money, I informed them of my intention to sue. They then stopped communicating directly with me and instructed me to have my lawyer contact them.Despite providing evidence through emails and call logs (over 30 attempts to reach them), Goals Plastic Surgery delayed responding and withheld returning my funds promptly. They cited aesthetic fees and a $750 service fee when refusing to issue a full refund, claiming these were necessary deductions. I argued that their failure to perform the agreed-upon breast lift augmentation nullified our contract and demanded a full refund immediately. Unable to resolve the issue directly, I proceeded to dispute the charges with my financial institutions and am preparing to file a lawsuit.Initial Complaint

I was scheduled to have liposuction surgery on June 2, 2022. I received a call from goals saying that my A1c was too high and that I needed to see my doctor.. I did and it was confirmed that my glucose and A1c was too high for surgery. When I reached out to goals, they told me that I needed a letter from my doctor stating that she did not recommend the surgery. It was also written in there paperwork that if any surgery was canceled for medical reasons and a doctor note was given that they would give a full refund. I sent the email from my doctor. We were communicating at one point and then all of a sudden they stop communicating. I am trying to get the rest of the 5700 that they owe me refunded , I paid for my surgery in full I think ********************************************* cashInitial Complaint

Date of Surgery: April 20, 2024 Goals changed doctors and dates last minute On April 19, 2024, during the pre-operative consultation, the attending physician changed and informed me that I was not a suitable candidate for the originally planned fat transfer to the breast procedure.Consequently, on the day of surgery, only the Flexsculpt360 Package and ********** Op Package were administered, totaling $6250, which was paid in full.I paid a total of $8900 upfront, which included $2500 for the fat transfer (not performed) and $150 for a surgical bra (not used), totaling $2650.Following the procedure, I purchased additional massages for $850, which was deducted from my credit of $2650.Therefore, Goals ******************************************* Surgery owes me a refund of $1800.Goals ******************************************* Surgery provided a refund contract on May 21, 2024, for $1650, omitting the $150 for the surgical bra.The refund contract stipulated that by signing, I would forfeit any further claims against them.Despite repeated attempts to contact ****************** from the billing department and *******, the manager, since June 5, 2024, there has been no response regarding the outstanding $1800 On June 5, 2024, I notified both ************** of my intent to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and pursue small claims if necessary.Major Concerns:Had Goals ******************************************* Surgery conducted a proper assessment, I would not have needed to borrow $2000 from Affirm, which has since escalated to $2800 with interest. It has been excessively challenging to retrieve my funds from Goals ******************************************* Surgery, with staff members reportedly stating that litigation threats are necessary to prompt action.I have spent over 15 hours on the phone attempting to resolve this issue, always having to repeat my situation due to inadequate notation on my acct. Theres so much to say. First I would like to start with sales. They continued to call making it seem like they have promotions when youre really paying more money. They did not provide any information on procedure , what to expect , etc. I arrived at Goals surprised. The room was full of women and only a sheet was provided to separate us. No privacy. The doctor did not give details on the procedure. I didnt get the areas completed that was suppose to be completed. The surgery was worthless and painful. The doctor did not show for follow up appointments and they will not refund for it. I wasted so much money coming out of state to get this procedure done. Im moving forward with civil suits as this whole process besides post op was unethical.Initial Complaint

December 1. 2023 I paid $4500 for a cosmetic surgery during the holiday special and was supposed to have surgery on 12/15/2023. They changed my surgeon, they stopped promptly responding to my questions, i was given lots of misinformation around the surgery. ***** the supervisor offered me a free massage due to the wrong info provided by ****. My doctor didn't clear me due to my blood pressure being extremely high, which could lead to cardiac issues during surgery. I let Goals know and requested them to issue my refund since i wasn't cleared due to health reasons and they instead recommended I wait and pay an extra $1200 for a surgery at a later date. This voids/breaches our contract because instead of just postponing the surgery they are asking for more money. I haven't received any services from them due to health reason. I didn't cancel the surgery, I wasn't medically cleared to proceed with surgery. I was told from the beginning that if i wasn't cleared i would be refunded, because that would be out of my control, yet they are being difficult about issuing any type of refund. I was skeptical about using them due to the many complaints and reviews about them keeping people's money and not responding or them canceling the surgeries last minute. This company gives off scam/fraud and that is very unprofessional. So at this point they have charged me $4500 for a surgery and massages I never got. I never even went to their facility.Initial Complaint

I contacted Goals Plastic surgery in January 2024 to participate in their weight loss program. They required me to pay up front $600 to get started. From there, I was requested to get lab work, which I completed at the beginning of February. After my results came back, I was instructed that a provider would reach out to me with next steps. The office did not reach out to me, I had to reach out to them. After several attempts of contacting them and me pushing the process forward, I was able to receive a consultation with the provider. I was told that my medication had shipped on February 23rd, my consultation with the provider didn't happen until February 28th, which seemed really odd. After my consultation on the 28th, I was then told that my medication would be shipped to me and would arrive the next week. But as I previously stated, I was told the my medication had shipped already. Today is March 14th and the medication still has not arrived. Everytime I contact the office, they inform me that my medication has shipped/will ship and I never get the tracking information or any follow-**** On March 9th, I formally requested a refund from Goals and no one has contacted me back regarding my refund. I have put in a dispute with my credit card company regarding the $600 charge. This company does not seem reputable and people should be made aware as I feel that they are just scamming people out of their hard earned money.Initial Complaint

On 2/02/2024, I registered for the MediFlex weight loss program through Goals Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery, which included the consultation with a provider and a 3 month supply of semaglutide; the total cost I paid is $1530. Full payment had to be made before order was sent for labwork. I had to pay for my own labwork. I completed my labwork on 2/09/2024. I got my lab results on 2/10/2024. I have called Goals Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery several times, I have left several messages, I have sent a couple of emails including my lab results, but I have not received a response, neither a phone call nor an email. It has now been over one month since I started this process. As of today 03/12/2024, I still have not received a response. I called today and spoke with a representative. I explained the situation and requested a refund. I have also requested a refund via email. The representative notified me she will escalate the issue, and someone will contact me. I am still waiting. I do not trust this business. I believe the company is taking advantage of customers who are desperate to lose weight and scamming customers out of their hard earned money. I have not been provided the service for which I have paid, and I want a refund. This company is not trustworthy. My daughter also registered and paid, and she has not received the medication either. She will also file a complaint.
