    Pattern of Complaint:
BBB files indicate K-Servicing has a pattern of complaint concerning service issues.

Specifically, complaints allege K-Servicing is not processing PPP loan forgiveness applications on time. Since the due date for these application submissions is time-sensitive, many consumers filed complaints with BBB due to lack of response from the business. K Servicing has acknowledged the complaints by indicating they are making changes to their loan forgiveness application and that they are partnering with Biz2Credit on a "forgiveness platform"; however, the business has not processed the PPP forgiveness loans, and consumers continue to report failure of the business to move forward with resolving their concerns.

BBB contacted K Servicing on January 29, 2021 to seek their voluntary cooperation in eliminating the pattern of complaint. The company provided BBB with steps they implemented to address it; however, the pattern continues.

As of July 19, 2021, K Servicing has not eliminated the identified Pattern of Complaint.

My name is ***********************, i submitted a kabbage loan through the k servicing website. I applied for an sba forgiveable loan. My loan number is *******. I'm extremely upset with this platform. They have been stuck reviewing my documents for a period of several months. My documents need to be sent to the sba in order for it to be forgiven. I have submitted my documentation for this loan to be forgiven twice. Both times i have talked to representatives at kabbage and they have told me that the documents havent even been submitted to the *** and it hasnt been reviewed by the kabbage team. I have spoken to several of their representatives and none of them can assist me with getting this resolved. My loan is still in process to be forgiven after 2 years and still no resolution. Kabbage is requestig documents that the sba itself doesnt request or need. This is so unfair. This ppp lender is so predatory. Now i know why they filed chapter 11 bankruptcy!

I have submitted all the documentation to kabbage throughout the last years to get this application be forgiven and its always in pending process or the sba has not done anything. Complaint: 18241122

I am rejecting this response because:

as of November 8, i have again provided documents requested by Kabbage that the sba does not require for me to present to them. I have been providing all the requested documents for the past 3 years to kabbage and they still have not forgiven my loan. This is unnaceptable and embarrasing. Everytime i speak with one of their customer service representatives they are unable to figure out what is the next step and they look unable to figure out if i need to provide any additional documents. The problem with this whole back and forth is that kabbage is making me believe that the sba needs these documents. The sba does not require any of these documents. It is kabbage making up the rules as we go to keep holding on to not forgive my loan to collect on the interest. This is predatory business practices. The only acceptable conclusion is for this loan to be forgiven. The sba doesnt require any more documentation. This whole process for 3 years has been horrendous with kabbage. The only result that i want is for the loan to be forgiven. Kabbage has not done that. It continues to figure out ways to drag the process. They are filing bankruptcy because they are doing this to more customers like me. It needs to end!

I received a PPP loan, first draw from Kabbage/KServicing. I applied for loan forgiveness in August 2021. However, it hasn't and still hasn't been submitted to SBA (even though they are required to do so within 60 days). They have requested the same documents to be uploaded multiple times. Every time something has been requested, I have uploaded it. I have also called customer service to see if there is something different I need to provide. Every time the response is different. Sometimes, "no, nothing else is needed", other times, upload an additional document. I am a sole prop and the loan was less than $150,000 so the loan forgiveness should be simple and should not require full tax returns, voided check, a letter from the bank, 3 bank statements, full IRS transcript, etc. All those items have been requested multiple times and have been provided multiple times as I am wanting to close this process and receive loan forgiveness. I currently don't have any resolution. When I call customer service, they say that it's under review and they have no idea re: the timing for resolution since that's a different department. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Since it hasn't even been submitted to SBA, SBA, unfortunately, can't step in either. KServicing is also now wanting me to pay back some of the loan. However, on their portal, it states: "If you applied for forgiveness during the covered period plus ten months, loan repayments are deferred until you receive a decision on your loan forgiveness application. Otherwise, loan repayments are due as indicated." Since I did apply for forgiveness during the specified time, I should not have to pay anything. However, when I ask **************** for clarity on this, I get different responses. One person said that I don't have to pay anything while it's in review. Another person said I need to pay. It's very confusing and no one is able to provide clarity. I'm just looking for my loan forgiveness to close this chapter.

I appreciate the movement on this after so much time has passed. I am a bit confused though that a signature is needed. I signed the referenced documentation on 10/24. I have the copy of the signed document as well. I received the confirmation email. See attached to show that the document was signed on 10/24. I also went to the **Servicing forgiveness website (https://kservicingforgiveness.biz2x.com/) after signing the document to see what the status was. It said signature completed.

I received the same email on 10/28, as the company states in their response. I'm unsure why it was sent again for signature. It is the same document I signed on 10/24. I went to the **Servicing forgiveness website again today (10/31) and it now says signature needed.

Again, same document sent. Repeat work is requested. I'm confused since everything was completed; I have the documentation and I am being asked to do the same again....

Hi. On September 30th I applied for a business loan at kabbage by ***************** K servicesing. They promise to give a fair decision on all requests. But they have declined me on a basses that they can not verify me. Although I've sent them all documents needed. And ofcurse we are verifiable. The only reason my business was not approved most be for another reason what they wouldn't tell me. I don't know if it is race or any other outside motive. But definitely not about any fair reason. I did call several times. I did ask to speak to someone who makes decisions because I wanted to go over the documents. But I was denied at every attempt. Thank you very much

K Servicing, formerly Kabbage serviced and funding a PPP loan for my company, ******* and *******, **** They keep on emailing me demand payments for a PPP loan that should have been totally forgiven. They also have emailed me erroneous information, like asking us if we funded mortgage securities in 2020. We've never been in the mortgage industry before. They harrass me by sending ridiculous emails from their own incompetency. They also outsource customer service to ***************. The Phillipinos don't even know what PPP money is or what the *** is/does. Thousands of other businesses are having the EXACT same problem as me. They ARE NOT processing the forgiveness applications properly due to their own negligence and bad business procedures. This is causing business owners unnecessary grief, stress, and frustration.I immediately demand that Kservicing properly processes my forgiveness application. I also demand documentation proving that it has been submitted to the *** for forgiveness with any and all technology logs, transmissions, etc between Kservicing and the *** for my PPP loan. I sent my forgiveness app in **** month ago. This should have been completed with in 2 weeks of receipt. K SERVICING HAS over 300+BBB complaints in past year. OMG, do you know how bad this is?! I'm so scared. K servicing has my SS#, bank account info, tax ID#, DOB, etc. How can I trust this company with my most secret information? There is NO evidence they have even send forgiveness to *** PPP program I just learned today they now have a class action lawsuit against them for s******* this whole deal up for clients like myself. https://www.classaction.org/news/kabbage-failed-to-process-ppp-loan-forgiveness-applications-in-a-timely-manner-class-action-claims#:~:text=The%20lawsuit%20alleges%20that%20K,loans%20of%20%24150%2C000%20or%20less.

Hello,My name is *****************************. My PPP Loan application number is **********. The date for the loan is 06/13/2020. The lender is Kabbage *** also known as K Servicing.I received a PPP loan on June,2020. I have applied for forgiveness at K Servicing on 2021. K servicing denied my forgiveness and I appealed their decision in 30 days. SBA showed a new rule and platform to apply for forgiveness for anyone who received a PPP loan. The form at SBA was 3508S. In order to apply for the form 3508S, K Servicing needs to issue a link to the person asking for forgiveness. I have contacted them over and over again via email and phone but no one is willing to help me and issue the link so I can complete the form. I have done all the forms correctly and now I am stuck because they won't send me the link to apply for the forgiveness again.Thank you for helping me solve this issue.
