    BBB files indicate K-Servicing has a pattern of complaint concerning service issues.

    Specifically, complaints allege K-Servicing is not processing PPP loan forgiveness applications on time. Since the due date for these application submissions is time-sensitive, many consumers filed complaints with BBB due to lack of response from the business. K Servicing has acknowledged the complaints by indicating they are making changes to their loan forgiveness application and that they are partnering with Biz2Credit on a "forgiveness platform"; however, the business has not processed the PPP forgiveness loans, and consumers continue to report failure of the business to move forward with resolving their concerns.

    BBB contacted K Servicing on January 29, 2021 to seek their voluntary cooperation in eliminating the pattern of complaint. The company provided BBB with steps they implemented to address it; however, the pattern continues.

      Hello. I applied for a *** loan with Kabbage and received the *** loan in 2020. I have reached out to Kabbage DBA Kservicing about filing for a loan forgiveness numerous times and was finally sent the loan forgiveness application to complete and esign on July 7, 2022. I signed the application that day and have been following up with the company every month since July 2022 to obtain a status of my loan forgiveness application. I have called the company twice every month and continue to be told the same thing....."My application is still under review but it will be expedited and should be submitted to the *** in a few weeks." I have been told this since August 2022 and now it is February 2023 and they are still saying the same thing. I don't know what to do at this point besides continuing to call them and continuing to get the same response to each representative I speak to you. I would like to have some resolution to this or would like to know if I can submit the application to *** myself.

Requests are vague not specifying year for information needed, so I dig up extra. **************** has been no help in getting this resolved. The login to check status is unavailable as my loan number is no longer recognized there. I'm receiving threatening collection notices. This must end. The collection notices must stop.       HI, My name is ********************************* and I have a buisness checking account with kabbage-american express bank.I been a customer for over a year.Well on january 17, 2023 I wemt to my local rit-aid to deposit 300 dollars into my account because I was going to rent a car the next morning,So I plan ahead and went and added the money to the card the night before to make shure nothing would go wrong because I had to pick up my daughter up the next day and I didnt want anything to happen where I wasnt there to pick her up because my ex wife would not lrt her come with me again because she will think *** lying to my daughter and she already said that If I let my daughter down that she will just keep her nfrom me and I was doing everything posible to pick her up.The morning I go on my app and I see that it says my account has been frozen and now *** tripping out and call them up thinking that they will fix it right away because I never had anything like this happen to me.So they ask me for documents to show that my buissnes belongs to me and so send them everything that they want plus more on top of it just for they would rush it While fast foward they still have not release my funds.I have call them about 6 times and I dont get any type of answer that makes me feel that they actually care and makes me feel like they are stealing my money and getting away with it.You think they would try to act like they care about there customers and try to what ever they can to help people byt thry act 300 dollars is no big deal like its some change but not for me Iam living day by day with my finances and Honestly I can understand why people go crazy and go on a shooting rampage and then people wonder why someone would do something like that, I would never do it but latley on the news you see these masacures and its sad but I bet alot of them go crazy because other peoples actions.If you can help me get this resolved please

We were unable to locate an active account for the customer in our system. We would like to assist this customer, however, it appears that this customers account is not with KServicing.       To Better Business Bureau Re:*-Servicing requests for information PPP Loan No: ********** We are a small architectural and interior design firm in the ********.I have been trying to receive forgiveness for a PPP loan since December of 2021. I am in a continuous loop with *-Servicing. Each time I submit information they send an e-mail requesting further information. ***y say that the information is submitted to the **** then they come back and say the *** is requesting more information. Each time I comply with their request and upload information. I have done this over and over. I dont really believe any of my information has actually gone to the *** for review. I think they just have me in a loop of submitting information and them coming back with further requests. I think they are trying to wear me out to the point of giving up. *-Servicing is making the forgiveness process intentionally complicated. ***y send two e-mails each time requesting different information. One is from *** * ******* Team and the other is from PPP Forgiveness. *** most recent requests are starting to request my business license, my DBA documents, professional licenses, picture IDs and copies of our social security cards. This does not seem at all like legitimate requests for information from the *** and I am not comfortable sending it to *-Servicing. A quick search online and its obvious we have been in business for years. I have spoken with my bookkeeper and my accountant who both informed me they have not seen anything like this for any of their other clients. My loan is well below the threshold of the simple forgiveness packet for loans under $150,000. I am also aware of the Kabbage and *-Servicing bankruptcy process and cant help but think they are intentionally stalling my forgiveness to ultimately have me make payments on the loan with accrued interest.

      Thank you for the opportunity to respond to ******************************* complaint regarding K Servicings participation in the ***s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan program. ******************** has expressed that she has submitted documents over and over again as requested and now feels that K Servicing is purposely stalling to submit her forgiveness application to the *** for approval.

      We appreciate the feedback that ******************* has provided.  The U.S. ***************************** (***) initiated a loan review for the borrowers loan. As part of the loan review the *** requires documentation to be submitted by the lender on the behalf of the borrower. The *** asked for additional documents to validate the borrowers forgiveness application multiple times on September 28, 2022, December 5, 2022  and  most recently on January 3, 2023.  We contacted the borrower to provide us with the requested documentation because it was not previously provided. Additionally a decision regarding the borrower's forgiveness amount has been made by the ***. The borrower's application for forgiveness was not approved by the ***. This decision was based on the documentation the borrower provided.

      Hi,My name is *****************************. I had did a ppp loan with kservicing and for some reason this company seems to be playing around with the forgiveness process.When I first submitted my application no one informed me that I needed to provide any additional documents.Now all of a sudden they want this and that. Had they asked me for any of these documents at the same time I did the application. thes documents could have been provided.Ive been going back and forth with this company & the *** for seems like 2 years now . I am a legit business owner and Im just not understanding any of this they are stressing me out . I had to reach out to kservicing numerous of times because none ever reached back out to me on no occasion concern the loan forgiveness.Everytime I called they gave me the run around. I feel like on their end they have sadly refused to take immediate action on my loan forgiveness and moved when they felt like it.I am a very upset business owner hoping I can get this loan %100 forgiven with the help of BBB.Please reach back out to me to handle this matter.

      I am rejecting this response because:I feel like the company had poor communication from the very first day I did my forgiveness application which a customer representative walked me through the whole process so I know for sure the application was done the right way in a mannerable time. He told me everything was good and as long as all of the loan was use for my business(which I have receipts on utility,supplies,& rent) It should be 100% forgiven and to give them ********************* it took them 3-4 months and I had to contact them trying to see what was the outcome. I feel like they took their precious time doing what they wanted to do.When we finally talked they wanted recent utility and lease documents which had nothing to do at the time period I had that loan .I do not think its fair because what does now have to do with then ? Like I said before ,if you wanted documents of what the loan was used for then how come you never asked for them in the very beginning of this process? Here it is now a couple years after and you want recent documents, that makes absolutely no sense. I didnt receive that loan last year so what does it have to do with my business now? I spent it all when I received it and I made that clear on that application , so what is there to question or what reason did I have to provide extra documents .What did I receive $5,291 how much of it did I spent $5,291 which left me wit $ 0 of that money .I have money orders bank statements and receipts that I kept just in case they tried to pull some c*** which they did.its a loan right ? For my business right ? So anything concerning my business I should have been able to use it for whatever expenses that was concerning MY BUSINESS!! Because you was doing your calculation of the documents you asked for those documents does add up to what I got receipts on.So no Im not satisfied with a loan being partially forgiven because I didnt use just partial of the loan . I wished that I had read the reviews on this loan before I allowed my tax preparer to set me up for this loan the whole company just seems like a joke and use these loans to get them from going going bankrupt. Everyone I know thats done this loan is having the same issue ************ had a plan, but they will not get me .I want this loan %100 forgiven .I can even take it to the point of actually taking them to court if I have to .Its a shame how companys try to get over on small business owners offering help and then try to go against the grain in the end.I have a great Lawyer on stand by if I need him so if we cant get this %100 forgiven I will allow him to handle it from this point .

      Filed an application for forgiveness of $3261 from a PPP loan. Received an approval on October 21, 2022 saying $2,629.08 will be refunded **** business days.Contacted K Servicing on November 7, 2022 inquiring about the refund; their response was 'The refund hasn't been processed because it seems that the refund request wasn't submitted by our team - please allow ***** business days for your refund to process.' Contacted K Servicing December 13, 2022 immediately requesting to speak to a supervisor - told no supervisor was available but I can expect a call back by the end of the day and that my request for a refund was escalated. No call back. Contacted K Servicing December 15, 2022 immediately requesting to speak to a supervisor - spoke with a supervisor promised a call back with an update by December 19, 2022. No callback. Contacted K Servicing today December 22, 2022 and was told they are getting a lot of calls about refunds from people waiting over 2 months and no one is able to tell me when I can expect a refund. Seems to me that K Servicing is a bunch of thieves, and liars. I WANT MY REFUND.

      Hello, I am reaching out because I received an email from K ************ requesting my 2019 and 2020 tax documents. These documents have already been uploaded to my account several times. I tried reaching back out to the email that document was sent from and was advised that the email address *** not exist or that emails *** not be sent back to the email address. The only way to communicate with the company is by phone. I reached out to the phone number provided and received a message stating the office was closed and to callback during normal business hours, but the message does not provide details of when the businesses office hours are. I also have an old phone number that is attached to my account. I have been trying to get this old number removed and my phone number updated but because there is no good contact number for email address I have not been able to reach anyone from the company.

           I am rejecting this response because: I have reached out to your company several times. When I did finally speak with someone the agent was very rude and unprofessional. I tried explaining that the system would not allow me to upload both my 2019 and 2020 tax returns that was requested and that when I did upload them I was sent a follow-up message requesting the very documents I had already sent over. The agent advised me to just keep uploading the documents and they may be received but there could be something wrong with the system. I asked if there was an email I could send them to and she stated there was not. This company purposely makes it impossible to provide the documents they are requesting or to speak with someone in leadership who can ensure the issue is getting resolved. 

       

           I was sent a notice that my application was not approved so I sent an appeal email back to them. I have yet to receive a response and the reason for the rejection was that they could not verify my documents. It would be impossible to verify the documents if you are not allowing me to upload all of the requested documents to your system and fall to provide an email address where I can send them and communicate with an actual person. I have tried working with them as best I can. I have all of my documents and evidence to prove that I have tried to get this resolved on my own. I am reaching out to the *** and also am considering obtaining legal representation.

           I am rejecting this response because:  I recently spoked with a representative from the company in regards to the documents that were sent along with my forgiveness application. I explained to the agent that I had already submitted my application along with the requested 2019 and 2020 tax documents. I was advised, only two days after submitting the requested documents. that my application was rejected. My issue is that it took several months to be able to communicate with the company yet my application was reviewed in only two days.

       

           The agent stated that the 2019 documents were sent but the application was rejected because the 2020 tax documents were encrypted and they were unable to open the file. I asked why was I not contacted to resend the documents especially since I was patient and continuously tried reaching out to get the issue resolved. The agent hesitated to answer and stated for me not to worry because my application was rejected but only preliminarily. The agent stated if the *** requests the 2020 tax documents they would reach out so that I could resubmit them. The call was recorded and the agent was advised the call was recorded. I am not at all confident that the company is working to resolve my issue. I sincerely believe that they are just looking to get me out of the way and have not reviewed any of my documents thoroughly if at all.

      K Servicing has failed to process my PPP loan forgiveness application to the **** I signed the forgiveness application in July of 2022, and was told it was due to the *** 90 days later. Since then Ive been told I have multiple IDs with the *** and they are trying to resolve it. They call me weekly, and send me emails to collect my entire loan amount. I was told that if I dont pay something I would be sent to collections and as soon as my loan is approved I will get reimbursed. I paid them $3000 towards the loan which I am fearful will not be refunded.I need help with getting my forgiveness application submitted to the ***, the collection calls to stop, and my $3000 refunded to me.

Ms.  ******* has expressed that she is still waiting on a decision on the *** Forgiveness application filed with KServicing.

      We have reviewed the customer's  records and can see that documentation was requested from the customer on September 05, 2022.  We are in the process of manually reviewing the documentation that the customer has submitted. We should have an update on the customer's loan forgiveness application no later than 11/16/2022. The customer can continue to check their dashboard for all updates by signing in at www.KServicing.com.

      Still waiting for a decision on the *** Forgiveness application filed with K-servicing. I've been told that our loan number, along with others, is not recognized by the *** and they are trying to resolve the issue. In the meanwhile, K-servicing is demanding full repayment of the loan. I filed for forgiveness within their guidelines, multiple times because they kept updated and changing their forgiveness process, and I still have no answers. Kabbage, aka K-servicing has filed for bankruptcy, and has been absolutely no help trying to resolve this, nor has the lender, **************** It clearly states on their website and the *** website that no repayment is due until a decision is made on the Forgiveness application. How can they legally harass me for payments and threaten me that if I don't pay it will give the *** reason to deny my forgiveness application? I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A DECISION, THEY CANT EVEN FIND A RECORD OF MY LOAN WITH THE ***. I NEED HELP ASAP.

It appears that when the loan was submitted to the *** for a final decision there were *** system errors created in the process. We are trying to figure out what happened and resolve the issue for the customer. We will reach out to the customer directly once we have received additional guidance from the *** and we have additional information to provide.
