      Transportation from August 31st and Drop off on September 20th, the first issue came when they dropped the unit off knowing it was an apartment complex. Although the driver was able to drop it off on pick up September 2nd another driver could not pick up. I not only had to call in twice after I was told they were coming in the afternoon, I also had to stay in town to ensure it got picked up. The driver was unable to pick it up and offered me no solution other than to call her boss on the following Tuesday since it was memorial weekend. However I spent 2-3 days calling and the spent the day of pick up on a Wednesday ( due to them being booked Tues) playing go between the apartment complex since I no longer lived there (and informed them of that) the driver and the warehouse manager. I spent money and time waiting in town when I was moving out of state due to this huge mess. Not only that but I was charged $219 that I was initially told that storage was free the first 30 days, then when I called the supervisor refunded me for the inconvenience I experienced at the hands of their service but not for the storage. I found that out when I called again and realized I was never refunded for the fact that I was charged incorrectly but they labeled it as the inconvenience I faced. So I I was offered $50 off my bill since I already received a refund. Exhausted I took it, when my pod was delivered at the warehouse I did not get a call like stated, I called to schedule a drop off and was told it was already set to be delivered. My stuff came completely torn, tossed around and damaged. My bookshelf and desk both are damaged, and I had bugs on some of my items, screws were also missing. When I received my final bill I was shocked to discover no $50 credit and I was charged gas fuel! I was told unless I was going to California there isnt a charge. This caused me about a month worth of stress for a move, for this price I couldve hired movers.

      I hired zippy pod to relocate my furniture from whitesboro to ********* *******. They came with a pod 1 day late , we had to wait for my closing on the house cause of this but know problem. It was supposed to be delivered ASAP from august 22 , 2023 . Now its September 13, 2023 we have everything we own in this pod, we call numerous times a day and they tell ** . Its in ************ and they dont have a truck yet to deliver it. We had to hire an attorney, call our credit card company for a dispute cause they took out the other half . Plus call the ****************************** to find out were our belongings are.please help

      The incidence occurred between June 12 & 13, 2023 The initial price quoted was $2,555.56 The total amount charges was $5,200 ************ totally misrepresents, mislead and ******* customers for additional moving cost that they intentionally created.Firstly they advertise their containers as 16 x7x7. The containers are actually 15x6.5x6.5. This basically robs you of over 150 cubic feet. They also claim that they container can hold 2-3 Bedroom. This is a total LIE since our small ** condo was a 2-beroom.They roughly packed the items in 1 of their Shell in a large truck, leaving 1/2 the items behind. Then they forced you to purchase another container for the remaining items and a much higher price than the original. Your hands are completely tied at this point since its your planned moving day. I called and order the second crappy unit, they charged my credit card immediately and promised to deliver same day. They never did! After calling the company about 8 times all I received were promises. When they realized that they made an error, they tried to cover by telling me that it takes 24 hours. My wife had to cancel her flight, we cancelled move-out cleaning. All these were additional costs.Again, I called the company several times for compensation and given the same scripted response of no refund. After calling again and asked to speak with one of the top managers ****, he offered me $75. This after total cost exceeding $6,000+

      We are currently involved in the process of receiving our containers (two containers) from Zippy Shell/Pack Rat. We have had numerous issues with them regarding the delivery date. When moving from our old location, they changed the date of delivery without notification numerous times (approximately eight times). While we eventually resolved that, it involved having to speak directly to the delivery driver and his manager; Zippy Shell claimed it was due to "unforeseen circumstances" that they could not rearrange the schedule to get us our containers before our closing day. We did resolve that, but we now have the exact same issue receiving our containers. They provided written confirmation that the delivery of the containers would be Tuesday, June 27, 2023. By the end of the day, we had not received the containers. We reached out and were told that the dates had been changed, again without notification, and that this was due to the "unforeseen circumstances" clause. However, now we face charges of $500 due to an extra month of storage. I have also received confirmation from their company that it was due to Zippy Shell overbooking the delivery facility (thus, not unforeseen circumstances, but easily avoidable ones). Instead of rectifying the situation, they have notified us that we might receive one container tomorrow and the other on Thursdaybut that they also might change this due to "unforeseen circumstances." We do have written confirmation again of the delivery dates, but no confidence that they will not further breach the contract.

      I called Zippy Shell on Friday, December 29th and spoke with ****** who came up with a quote of ***** for my move. I told her I got a cheaper quote from **** for *****. She said she would price-match my **** quote if I forwarded the email. I immediately forwarded the email and heard nothing back. I reached out twice via email before calling again on Tuesday, January 3rd. When I called, I spoke to ******* who said she would price match for me on the phone. She sent me a new quote of *****. Still more expensive than the **** quote. I told her that didn't work. She then transferred me to **** who she claimed was in charge of the price matching. **** was extremely rude, defensive, and spoke to me with a better-than-thou attitude. He said "Zippy shell includes more offerings than ****. That's why it costs more....since we include more with our service, we can't match".The *************** does not allow storage on the street. All storage container deliveries must be unloaded as soon as they arrive. **** claimed that the reason he couldn't price match was because Zippy Shell had to charge more for labor since the *************** requires someone to stay with the storage container and unload it immediately. The **** quote I provided Zippy Shell also included additional cost of labor to stay in compliance with this ordinance and it was shown in the itemized **** quote I sent over.I asked **** if he could please itemize the quote to ensure the rest of the quote matched **** and he said he was unable to do that. This company advertises a price on their website and over the phone does not deliver. Additionally, someone should investigate ****'s conduct and professionalism with customers.

      Quoted a price to move from ** to **. Movers arrived a day late, even after multiple communications they were coming on date agreed. Their guys loaded shell, moved it from ********* to ********** **. Now the say it is overweight, want to make me pay for a second shell and are holding my belongings hostage till I pay. DO NOT USE. DO NOT TRUST. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS.

      I reached out to Zippy Shell in July prior to my move. I asked the rep how many crates I would need based on the things I had in my three-bedroom. (Each room wasn't fully furnished but I explained the amount and size of everything I had.) The rep recommended 1 crate. I purchased loading and unloading services for $400 each way. On the day of the move, 8/5 the movers stuffed all they could in one crate possibly damaging my things. And then there were still items left over. I called Zippy Shell about this they quoted me $2k more for another crate. Which I found to be ridiculous. They told me they would call me back at the *** for more suggestions, but they never called back. I ended up moving and finding someone to transport the last few items to me. They called me a few days after saying my crate was ready, I was confused because I never ordered the second crate. They then canceled that crate and the original one filled on 8/5 was then delayed because I canceled the second crate. I NEVER ORDERED A SECOND CRATE. My things finally arrive to the warehouse late, they were supposed to deliver on 8/25..... no delivery...then 8/29...still no delivery, they scheduled for 9/5 and on that day they informed me there are no movers in my area...HOW WAS THAT NOT KNOWN IN JULY WHEN I BOOOKED? This is such a bait and switch company with the single crate order and now the movers. Its been over a month and I still do not have my things. It's 9/7 and no one is picking up the phone at their company. I am reaching out to my attorney today.

      On 6/14/22, I called for a quote, the sales person promised me that if I pay an extra $500, they will expedite the shipping of the container and ensured me that I will get my items delivered on the day that I have asked, which was 7/11. The week leading up to the when the movers come to pick up my items, I had to call and email 5 times to get the *** corrected, and yet on the day of the move 6/29, I have to call me while the movers are moving my furnitures to get an update on the ***, they promised that the *** will be expedited but yet in the end I still have never received the ***. During that same call I have asked to confirm my deliver date of 7/11, that's when they notify me that they cannot make the original date, and that they will need one more day. To confirm that they will be able to deliver during 7/12, they have asked me to pay my entire move in full of $4260. I was desperate to make sure that I get my delivery because I have a flight out of state on 7/13, I paid them in full and they sent me confirmation that the deliver will be on 7/12. On 7/11, I called Zippy Shell to make sure that I am getting my delivery since the movers have never confirmed, that's when they told me that the container still has not arrived at the facility and they won't be able to deliver on 7/12. They told me that a supervisor will contact me before the end of day (and I called at 12pm) because I have complained on the phone and I need my deliver on 7/12. At the end of the day, I have never gotten a call back from the manager, I just randomly got an email confirming my delivery. So I called them again just to confirm and the person on the phone confirmed that the delivery will definitely happen on 7/12 and the movers will be here between 8am to 12noon. On 7/12 Around 12pm, I called Zippy Shell, they told me that my container still has not arrived at the facility so they cannot deliver today and there is nothing they can do.
