We bought a house in ************** inside of ************************ in ********* **. Our builder, Moxley Homes, told us they have never not finished a home on time. We were moving from ************, all the way to *****************. Moxley Homes was three weeks late. When we did our walkthrough with them the workmanship was terrible. The luxury vinyl plank floors had glue on them in several places that they wanted us to clean up with some wipes the flooring company gave us. The walls have cheap paint so thin you could not wipe a **** off the wall without going to the drywall. They bought a bad load of trim and put it in our house and they blamed the painters. They never fixed it. The French doors were hung wrong and the deadbolt would not close correctly. The stucco on the outside is cracking in several places. They put in LVP flooring that has no padding, so there are "wavy" concrete ****s under the flooring. Master bedroom shower leaks in an area from the grout not being done right. The door going into the attic was hung wrong and won't close right. One of the pillars on our screened-in porch has a board that is pulling away from the pillar and warping and we have only been in the house for two years. These homes range in price from $350,000 well into the $400,000's. We assumed in this price range that the workmanship would be far better. Many of our neighbors are unhappy as well.
