    8/14/24 I brought my 2010 *** to CarStar due to a non fault accident. My vehicle was covered under *************** claim. once the repairs were completed I picked up my vehicle on Sept 9th 2024 After picking up my vehicle I noticed a couple things that was damaged. One I could not close my passenger side door, secondly my gas was driven out of my car and my tank was on E. I did take pictures of my vehicle gas before leaving it with this company and lastly I noticed damage to the passenger side roof of my vehicle. I immediately called and spoke to **** who took liable and was apologetic. **** stated that the door can be fixed in 10 mins if I could bring my vehicle back and they will have a tech put on a weather strip. I explained to **** I didnt feel comfortable with the techs there due to there previous negligence. I would allow them to replace the weather strip since it only took 10 mins and I could stay with my car. Now as far as the paint that was peeling I did not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle again with them due to the techs being careless. **** then referred me to her manager ****** ****, who asked me to get an estimate I asked Mr **** was he going to submit a claim with his insurance he stated he would not. I got the estimate and was told by ****** and ****** the owner that the estimate was excessive and they were not going to pay for it. ****** said he was going to call the shop of my choice and negotiate with them. I then spoke to the owner and expressed my concerns. ****** offered me to go to another location but after my experience with ****** and the technician and there negligence, I prefer to go to a shop of my choice. ****** stated that the estimate was a bit much and they will only pay for paint. I then spoke to the business of my choice the manager there stated the part that Car Star damaged is known to break if removed to paint. They stated if it doesnt break then they wont charge me. Car Star offered me $123.12 its not acceptable

    Awful service, the owner ****** is rude and argumentative as I asked if my car was driven since theres unaccounted mileage on my vehicle. He said him is like accusing him of taping a little girl.whoa. Secondly, my check engine light is on and it was not previously not to mention I still have damage at the bottom of my car. Carstar claims that they were unaware about the damages to the bottom of the car as it wasnt in the initial estimate. That is true as the estimate was done by ******* and must I say, they did a ******* job too. They only did an estimate based on the what they could see and claim they would supplement everything else (they refuse to put the car on a lift at the time of the estimate). Unfortunately, ******* couldnt work on my car so I called CarStar. Note that Ive used CarStar over the years about three times and Im not sure what happened to their customer **********************. I honestly just wish Carstar would have communicated better. A simple call informing my car was ready but it still has some damaged underneathare you aware? My answer would have been no but instead I picked my car up only to have to come back two more times to repair the under carriage of the car. There is one (I believe) final damage that needs to be repaired but CarStar yet again failed to send the supplemental invoice citing it as cosmetic damage. Regarding the check engine light, the manager hooked my car up to determine why the check engine was on. The reply I received was and I quote an 08, the navigation doesnt work, the sunroof have issues agmont other things but the code is cleared. Note that no one mentioned the code so I used my own machine and found out the code is P2A01 which is the 02 sensor near the damaged pipe. Two months later, I am still asking Carstar the status of yet another supplemental invoice. They never included the ****** pipe under my car in the estimate stating its just cosmetic damaged and Im at 90% with the insurance company. Carstar is a collision shop and should only focus on the vehicles repair. I am so confused as to why they would intentionally s**** me over. You dont decide when the insurance company will cap out my car so why wouldnt you include all car damages on the estimate. Park car has been parked until I handle this legally and this is very sad.
