    ******* my vehicle was towed to the business for servicing to see why the vehicle wouldn't start. A service appointment was scheduled for ******* at 7AM but we were allowed to bring it by early in case they were able to service it sooner. We are still waiting for a simple full diagnostic of the car and it is ******** Initially, they determined that the engine needed to be replaced because of low oil levels, and were supposed to contact our warranty company about coverage of repairs. I have had to call just about every day since we had it towed for simple updates, several calls at a time just for someone to answer the phone, and physically go to the service department for accurate information concerning the issues in the car that need to be fixed. We have not been given any consistent updates outside of my continuous calls/visits, and we have not been given any loaner or rental to use as compensation for the continued delays. I am BEYOND done with them and NEED my car fixed, transportation until it is, and proper communication from this business. An engine replacement is way too big of an issue for them to continue to give dodgy and inaccurate information to me the customer and the warranty company. Absolutely ridiculous.

    12/31/2022 I'm so amgry at AutoNation Volkswagen Columbus!! Dropped my car off at 8:50am for my 9:00am scheduled appointment. Discussed needed maintenance at check-in. New VIP Relationship guy Terri B******* introduced himself to me, letting me know he called me earlier to confirm my appointment, this while I waited for my husband to pick me up for breakfast and errands (usual habit to keep from waiting at the dealership). After hearing NOTHING by 1PM, we returned to the dealership to find my car still in the same spot I left it. After waiting outside for 30 minutes, I went inside. The girl I dealt with initially immediately told me she was just about to call me to ask if I could leave my car until Monday. EXCUSE ME? She explained being a 'drop off' negated my appointment time and let 'waiters' go first. EXCUSE ME AGAIN? I had no option but to leave it but not without expressing my disappointment. Then I called Mr VIP man, informing him how I wasn't feeling very VIP at the moment. After taking my car there for 6 years, after the initial purchase, for servicing and putting up with some little inconveniences, I have never complained. And after all the freaking money I have given them (today neighborhood of $700), I have never complained. BUT TO MAKE A APPOINTMENT BECAUSE TIME IS VALUABLE TO ALL PARTIES INVOLVED AND FIND OUT IT MEANS NOTHING IS JUST A BIT ANGERING!! And when Mr VIP did return my call 2 1/2 hours later, I was told they had 2 employees call out so they were short handed, and there were 2 other customers who apparently ended up in my same situation. I was reassured my vehicle would be the first one serviced and ready. So today being Monday 01/02/2023, I attempted to contact the dealership beginning at noon after receiving no word/update. Successful at 1 pm, I was told they had not started on my car. We told them we would be enroute to get the car. They offered more excuses I was not interested in hearing.
