On December 4, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m., I was driving through the Manyard Terrace project site and was directed to stop by one of BRTU Construction **** employees holding a STOP sign. Shortly after I stopped, that employee dropped the stop sign on the hood of my vehicle (Lexus LS), causing significant damage. At that time, your employee explained that the wind had caused him to lose control of the sign. *********************, the supervisor of the project, gave me a business card stating that BRTU Construction **** is going to pay for the damage caused, with the condition that I get an estimate for the repairs. After I received the estimate from ****** Collision ********************* stopped communicating about the issue. I then called the *** of the company, *****************************, which refused to pay for the damage caused. ************** also stopped communications as well.

**** contracted to do the street work project for the City of Forest Park. On 5/11/2023 they were saw/cutting the asphalt driveway near our office. The small particles of gravel/asphalt material caused damage to the front and windshield of my 2011 ***** CX7, I notified the superintendent, ********************* on 5/15 along with the City of Forest Park. A police incident report was filed 5/16/23 as requested by City of Forest Park, I phoned BRTU to report incident and **** called to asked me to get an estimate. I obtained 2 estimates on 5/17 and presented to **** on 5/30. After several days of no reply,6/6 I contact **** and BRTU and they schedule to come see vehicle on 6/7. On 6/7 we meet and ***************************, **** and another gentlemen came by to inspect and they are denying liability saying the small chips are from road debris. After intense dispute I told them I will send a letter to owner of records with Secretary of State, the company and notify City of Forest park with intent to file suit depending on response.

BRTU Construction, though its Safety/Risk Manager, arranged to meet ************* in person to try to resolve the alleged car damage. However, ************* was unwilling to entertain any kind of a two way discussion and slammed her door on the people who went to meet at her office. Our attempt to resolve the issue was despite our project superintendent's strong opinion that the alleged damage could not have occurred as a result of our operation which was over 50ft away from her car. No damage was observed on BRTU's own trucks/cars which were parked much closer to the operation than **********************. Please see attached incident report

After BRTU's unsuccessful attempt of addressing the issue, we filed a claim against our insurance company on ********************** behalf. A claim information was provided to *************
