      I purchased a 2022 Cougar Cycle 125cc with *** ****** for my nephew on May 27, 2022 including warranty and Bluetooth speaker. On June 1, 2022, my sister and nephew drove to pickup the ATV for my nephew. They were unable to test drive because he was under 16 years old....he is an 8 year old. They got home, he rode the ATV on a side paved road and in dry large field. It turned off in the field and was unable to start. She called me so I could reach out to Hawg Powersports. I called June 3, 2022 spoke with *** and expressed my concerns because he had the unit only a couple of days. She was nice and polite, and told me to bring the ATV back in. She stated they would change it out for another ATV. June 8, 2022, my sister drove to ******** to return the unit. She was told it takes a few hours for them to remove the speaker and meter to install on the new ATV. She had other appointments, so she left and scheduled a pick up for June 10th. When she went back, they did not do anything that was previously arranged. She called me to contact the company. On my lunch, I called to speak with ***. The person who answer the phone claimed he was the owner. I explained the situation and he was so unprofessional. He stated he was ***'s boss and she can't authorize a change. He claimed his service department serviced the ATV and there was mud in the carburetor. He and I were.going back and forth because I knew the ATV had not been in any mud. And if it did, what ATV do not work in 2 or 3 days. He told me I didn't purchase a Honda or Yamaha. So I asked if he is selling ****..As a paying customer who did not finace, my $2000 was basically nothing. My nephew already have a go cart and motorcycles. The owner consistently insulted my knowledge/intelligence of ATV performance. Rode it once ATV has not started since June 19, 2022

      Better Business Bureau:

      I turned the ATV on 07/27/2022, and was issued a check in the amount of $2049.82. The check has cleared my financial institution as of today 07/29/2022. Thank you for your assistance resolving this issue!

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
