Male individual at front desk Told me a price for xrays before getting and then charged me 4 times the amount after I goy them. Ladies at the front even admitted he did incorrectly and that he has done the same thing to many other patients. I want a $200 refund for the difference.

Good afternoon, Mr. ****** received his initial estimate in November, during which time he was under a different insurance plan. When the patient returned in January, the cost under his new insurance plan changed what he owed for the service. The patient has been called, and this has been communicated to him; he expressed understanding. Thank you for your time.

I am rejecting this response because:

the insurance plan has nothing to do with it!! Resurgence called me and admitted it was incorrect and mistake on their side by the male representative. He assumed i met my deductible which i had not and even had told him that. I have a recording of the call from the manager where she admits they did wrong and what she said contradicts the excuse she is trying to give on here regarding the different insurance plans. I will be happy to submit the recording.

    Sincerely,

    **** ******

This was at a different location further away from the other two locations I have been to.On the morning of my appointment, it was canceled by the physician. Was sent to office An hour away. I was then told that they could not help me without a subsequent appointment with a different doctor.I paid for three co-pays to get no information except that I had bulging disc.Poor communication Im pretty sure this doctors office is not concerned about reviews As They are who the hospital refers patients to Im sorry, I wasted my time

My PCP referred me to Resurgens for a joint injury. I was refused an appointment because of a past balance I was unaware of. I asked the representative, "Is this a refusal of medical care?" She said, "YES!" To know that a healthcare provider will refuse a patient service due to their inability to pay a hospital bill is scary. I would not entrust my life and safety in the hands of a medical physician or facility that refuses to render service to a patient in pain because of MONEY. Resurgens I hope this is not your policy, if so it's a dangerous policy. Just the thought of being rushed to a hospital (Resurgens) with a life-threatening emergency only to be told we can't treat you because you have an outstanding bill, you are not aware of, is SCARY! This has uncovered the reality of our healthcare system in the **. This is also another reason that people go outside the country for medical procedures. RESURGENS DO BETTER IN SERVING THE COMMUNITY!

It is Resurgens policy to schedule patients, regardless of an outstanding balance. Unfortunately, we are unable to identify this individual based on the information provided in order to further investigate this complaint.

The surgical center, which is a separate entity from Resurgens, cancelled the patient's initial procedure. Resurgens does not manage or staff that facility. The patient has now been re-scheduled for the procedure. Unfortunately, due to HIPAA, we cannot provide further details.

    Sincerely,
