I will give them zero star, they are scamming people. They came and spent 30 mins, took $89, messed up my system, pushed for spending 1k right away. I was able to get everything done in $275 bucks.

Despite the high cost of a new heat pump system, it was incomplete or not properly tested as outlined in the proposal. The proposal described that the system would include 8 kW electric heat strips, but these were either missing or incorrectly connected, as they did not function when they were needed. Additionally, a PVC condensate drain line joint was damaged during the unit installation and not properly inspected. This oversight led to water damage on the ceiling near the leaking PVC joint.

I was quoted $920 to install a gas valve on a ******* furnace. This was their price if the furnace was no longer in warranty. If the furnace was under warranty they quoted me between three and $400 for the install. I was able to find a different technician who gave me the receipt for the gas valve and it only cost $60 Reliable Heating And Air is grossly overcharging for this part They claim that this is the price in their price book While this may be true, this is an outrageous markup I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion anytime you are considering using reliable Heating And Air

Reliable Heating and Air and its manager, ***** ********, lied, committed fraud, damaged my property, and then continued to lie about it.Reliable was supposed to swap out water heaters in our building. They removed my 50-gallon water heater. (And they had no issue removing it, it did not require any additional tools). Instead of installing their equivalent, which was a 47-gallon, they installed a 37-gallon.When I asked them about it, first ***** ******** denied I had a 50-gallon in the first place. Then he said it was because the diameter of their 47-gallon water heater was too big. (it was not, he lied). Then he said he couldnt do it because of the clearance. Then it was because the water needed to be shut off. All turned out to be lies. I contacted the plumbing company who installed my previous 50-gallon and got the paperwork. That paperwork confirmed I had a 50-gallon water heater. In comparing the specs of the 50-gallon with Reliables 47-gallon, Reliables had a smaller diameter water heater. Looked into the clearance and the water shut off with my building manager, they were okay to shut it off. ***** then said he still couldnt do it, and it would need soldering (fire to pipes). I brought out another plumbing company and asked if it does, and they said, no it does not need soldering. (Mind you Chriss guys did not do any additional work to remove the 50-gallon that was already there).None of ***** McKinneys reasons were true. ***** ******** and this company got the contract and got paid good money. In return they provided poor service and poorly trained, incompetent employees. ***** ******** was rude, disrespectful, and combative. Also, one of the techs, ****, slammed the dolly on my wooden floors and left a dent, which they also all lied about and declined to take accountability. ***** stated they prefer to get sued instead of doing the job they were paid to do. You want competent, trustworthy, reliable plumbing? Stay away from so-called Reliable.

Im in disbelief on how someone is appointed to be the go to person amongst their peers only to do the absolutely bare minimum to follow up on information provided. I closed on my house and it was sold on 11/8. Reliable issues a *** lien on their units not paid in full and on monthly payments. I checked my bank account and a new charge from Reliable was posted even though the unit was completely paid off when I sold my home on the 8th and it is now the 15th. Reliables point person, *****, did absolutely nothing but go back and forth with threats of collections, continued unauthorized charges, and continued contact instead of just confirming with the closing attorney if the payment was sent to them even after I provided their contact information. I would not suggest doing business with this location unless youre paying in full in cash because your account is at risk here with automatic payments. They charge different amounts with no heads up. I was advised it was not their job to **** down the payment or do anything when I literally gave them direct contact information so theres no HUNTING for anything on their end. It was given to them but that wasnt good enough. ***** was a waste of time to explain anything to and she just wants to argue which was fine with me because I was not paying another dime and the attorney provided proof with a copy of payoff check and there was no reply to the attorney from *****. ***** does not need to be in charge or the contact person because she wont do anything but reply to you with nonsense instead of doing her job to follow up on what was being explained. They need a better process in place when it comes to payoffs due to home sales and closings. Worst first experience ever.

July this year I called reliable for a new ac condensor and coil.I asked the sales *** for a Trane unit. The installer (contracted) installed the unit and it was a run tru by Trane.I called reliable and asked to speak with the sales ***s ******* as I did not receive a Trane.****** his ******* finally called me and said that I got a run tru by Trane that was manufactured in the same plant, on the same line, with the same parts as a Trane.I reluctantly accepted this as it was already installed and we had been staying in a hotel.Installed on an unlevel base, very sloppy like his truck. I had to ask for the exposed (high voltage) electrical connection to be corrected. The unit ran for less than 24 hours.I contacted reliable and they told me they would put me on the shedule for an appointment next week. I insisted this was unacceptable as it was a new unit just installed the day before. After multiple calls and a couple hours I finally was able to speak with *** the service ******* whom said someone would be out the next day. They sent the same shoddy contractor back, whom gave me a bs answer about the units problem. The unit was out again in 2 days.I spoke to *** and ****** and insisted that they dont send the same contracted person back. They sent an actual Reliable employee on Friday evening to look at the unit.He got the unit started and I heard an explosion and ran outside to see black oil everywhere, tech said it was dead. The tech contacted *** and ****** whom said they would contact me in the am with a time frame for a new unit to be installed the next ****** mid afternoon I had heard nothing, after many hours and multiple calls, I was informed that no unit was available.****** said they would reimburse me for my hotel until we resolved the problem. After harassing ****** multiple times by phone I was finally reimbursed for half of my hotel expenses.I sent ****** the receipts again as requested, have never been reimbursed.607.00 lost Reliable *****

Wow, Where to start. I bought ( Leased) a unit back in 2019. I had to give double the amount for a deposit which was $3000 and was told that we would get it back in 6 months. That was a lie and we were told it couldnt be refunded and would go against unpaid bills.Three years ago that happened when I had two heart attacks and couldnt work any longer and $1200 was used to pay unpaid bills and catch us ******* forward to present, I fell behind $807 according to them, they sent invoices in May showing dates I had paid on some and I replied back showing the statements that I paid. This went in 3 more times by email. Finally they took out $346 I did not authorize and after speaking to the Billing Manager and explaining numerous times that I did not owe as much as their records showed not did I authorize payment I had to get my bank involved and they agreed with me that it was unjustly removed and I did not owe what they stated. The *** became so frustrated with me He would not deal with me anylonger and sent me to another billing service member who even said they switch to a new system and it was messing up bills!!Now the units heat would not work and I am disabled and also live with my disabled wife and Her 76 yr old disabled mother, They refused to service the unit until I paid half of the $807! Finally my Mom in law took out the money from her life savings and we called back only to be told the *** refused to accept that and wanted all 800 before allowing maintenance to restore heat to our unit. This person is just a you know what and this company is a pile of you know what! Do not buy from them, they wont even return our deposit nor use it to the bill. So why are they holding it?? They cant give me an answer! Someone needs to seriously look into their operations and do not, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OR DEAL WITH THEM IN ANY MANOR, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

These people are shady. I had a brand new system installed in my house, and I was happy at the time. But then when I realized I was coerced by their salesman to sign up for a leasing program. I was ready to cut them a check for almost $10,000 the day of the contract, but somehow this *** **** collecting commission convinced me that signing up for the 'Comfort as a service' was a way to pay off the system without taking out a loan or paying in-full. When in fact, I actually own none of the equipment and none of my payments go towards the payoff of the system. Now I can't sell my house without removing all of the equipment that I was ready to pay cash for. These people are fraudsters and predatory salesmen.

I think this company should change its policy when it come to paying for services. I called them for service and a service person came out and did an inspection. However, after the inspection, I was told that I would have to pay $89.95, in cash, at that moment, for the inspection. No one at Reliable told be about the charge prior to the service person coming to my home. That inspection led to a recommendation that I get a part to repair my damaged heating unit. After contacting the parts department I was told that the part would cost over $1,700, with instalation. I authorized the purchase, the part was brought to my home and only then was told that I would have to pay for the part and the installation on the day the part was installed + another fee of $89.95. I was told that I could not pay this bill over time. It had to be paid that same day. My complaint is that someone should have told me that Relant operated on a cash only basis prior to me have the inspection and ordering the part. My advice, if you do business with this company have a lot of money avaivable.
