This company is not equipped to remove Trees safely.Their undocumented crew did not rope the pieces of tree down, nor do they use a lift.They let the whole Tree fall, endangering ******************* addition, they did less than desirable job. They cut trees half down & were going to leave them like that, however, wanted to be paid.There is still one Tree left they cut half down. The owner **** wanted to get mouthy, as did his assistant ****** They will never darken my property again. There should consider them selves lucky that I didn't get the law involved. Appalachian Tree Service has trimmed and/or cut down trees several times and every time the service provided was exceptional. The owner shows up to ensure the work done is satisfactory and the entire crew is friendly, professional, efficient and courteous. I just used Appalachian Tree Service for the third time. They've removed many trees from my yard and have always done an excellent job, so I called them once again to remove a dying dogwood tree that ***** (their appraiser) said was definitely not going to make it. (The fungus growing at the base of the rotted trunk indicated advanced root deterioration.). What I have loved about Appalachian is their detailed estimates, their excellent responsiveness to all phone calls and emails, their reliability, their excellent work, and the pristine way they leave the area when their work is done. I also like that they don't use heavy machinery or cranes to do their tree removal. Their workers are a joy to watch as they climb up trees, throw ropes around branches to guide their falls, and take down huge trees without damaging structures and vegetation. ****, the owner, is always there to inspect the job as the workers finish. It's obvious he takes pride in his company and wants to maintain an excellent reputation.Review from Tammy T

I had multiple trees removed and some tree pruning done as well. I was very pleased with the entire **************** They were professional & friendly, did a wonderful job in a timely manner, and even cleaned up exceptionally well. I will certainly use them again in the future.Review from Rita L

Appalachian tree service was such a great company. They were professional and came out and took care of our huge tree that was really close to the house without any issues. They were on time had fair prices and made the process easy. I highly recommend them for any tree removals. Dont hesitate to call!Review from Cheryl H.

Crew arrived on time. We were kept current with process of cutting tree limbs. Guys were efficient, friendly and mindful of our property. I would definitely hire again.
