Us auto sales financed me a car that was more than 10 years old for more than 20k. And when i went back to the dealership i couldnt go back to the dealership because they were filed for bankruptcy. And the car had underlying mechanical issues that they said was fine but it is not. I can not do anything with the car because its not worth what was sold to me as.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2013 ***** equinox sport around march 2019or2020. When I got the vehicle within a week the check engine light came on the truck was then put in the shop and was there until about April/may. I was able to drive the vehicle until about the end of August before it was in the shop again until the end of November. I have made my payments as I should with this company and my vehicle was taken as they said because of nonpayment but filed bankruptcy and switched me to another company westlake without notice. I have paid more than what the vehicle is worth and still am unaware of why it was taken.Initial Complaint

Got a car with US Auto Sales back in 2020. Been making my payments on time and had no issues. They closed down with no notice of their bankruptcy or any form of communication. We been sending payments to US auto sales. We had no clue where to send our payments to. My husband car got repossessed out of the blue. It's calling and researching We found out about this ******** financial portfolio and how we came to find out about US Auto Sales going into bankrupty. We explained to them we unaware nor did we knew what was going on. They already send the car to auction without 10 day notice which is illegal and violates our rights. Called plenty times about our personal belongings They kept giving us a number is not reachable. I lost over a $1000 in personal property. Called ****************** about the situation and how to get the car back. They say once we paid $1000 they would do a loan extension and release the car. We did so. We only had the car only 2 weeks and they took it again. Even when we was making payments. Called them they say my husband behind $2,000. How? Where is the extention? ******** is criminals. All these complaints you'll got to do something not just this automated reply I seeing you'll doing. This is unfair to us and I'm seeking an lawyer. To add insult to injury. We signed a contract with US Auto Sales not ******************. They came on peoples credit and impacting people scores even with payments. Basically our contract and agreement got sold and transferred with no prior notice or consent which is illegal. They can keep the car. They already jacked up the front end when they took it the first time and they didn't want to repair it. I just want this place off my credit report because I never did business with them. This is messing with faithful consumers livelihood. I'm hiring an attorney to file a lawsuit. Honestly. This is criminal and bad business.Initial Complaint

The company that I was using did not inform me or any of their customers that they were going bankrupt not only that, but they also failed to let us know in a timely manner where to make our payments so I was past due for basically two months because I didnt know where to make my payments at And it looks like when I look through my account it makes it look like I have never made any payments to my accountInitial Complaint

I bought a car from the dealership with a warranty, when I needed to use the warranty I called filled the claim and was told to take the car to a shop, when after the car was complete I go to pick up the car and find out the warranty was no good because the dealership never paid the warranty company for the police, I was then told by the dealership to let them pick the car up and I could get the car back from them. After the car was picked up I find out the dealership had closed and sold there loans to another company.Initial Complaint

Year 2022 I purchase a Audi (2015) from US Auto Sales. My vehicle was in an accident. The car was cover through US Auto. They refuse to pay during COVID-19 and illegally repo the vehicle. So I had been doing business with us auto for 5 years and within my last few payments my car was wrongfully repossessed. This occured around November 2022 (not sure if the date). Since then, around June or July 2023 I started receiving calls from a company asking to settle out from my $5-6,000 balance to $2,500. I just need to know what steps I need to take since I have been hearing about them being in debt on the world news.Initial Complaint

On July of 2021 I paid my car off in the full amount of *********. I was supposed to receive my title but never did. Now US Auto Sales has gone out of business and Western Portfolio has taken over there open accounts. Since my car was paid off before they took over US Auto Sales accounts they are saying that they can't release the title because the car information along with my personal information was not transferred to them. I really need my title and when I got to the *** which they are referring me to them they are saying that my car that I paid off still has a lien on it.Initial Complaint

My car was pd off by the insurance company,us auto went out of business and transferred it to ******** financial when I call ******** they say the don't have any account for me ... ******** is on my credit report
