I Took my newborn puppy in to be seen due to her looking bad and seemingly sick. They said it would be 800/900 dollars to try to help her. I signed something letting them know please do everything they can and do cpr to bring her back if needed. They kept coming in and asking me if I was sure I wanted to go through with helping her stay alive I said several times yes. The vet comes in and says shes dead, we did everything we could to help her but she died. They asked me if I wanted them to dispose of her or if I wanted to take her with me. I advised them I would take her home and give her a proper burial. My younger sibling was with me and the others were in the car as well. My mom even spoke to the vet and they told her the same over the phone. They gave me her in a body bag zipped all the way up. I was devastated but trying to prepare myself for what was to come. I brought the dog to my mom in the car. I went back inside to get the puppys blanket. They said they threw it in the washer. Wow! I wanted her scent on that blanket. I go to the car we realize we here something crying, its my dog. Moving, crying, moaning, breathing. We try to go to another animal hospital and unfortunately its late and the next one is 40 min or so away. Long story short they lied stole money from me because I doubt they did anything now. And washed her cover didnt even let me have her cover that smelled like her and she loved. Im devastated. My whole house is appalled, sad. This should NEVER happen! I called and they said a manager would call me back and never did! Im taking this as far as I have to. I have videos and will be requesting a full refund.
