      LGE has been super unkind and unfriendly in relation to the death of both my parents in September 2024. I walked out of there today crying. I explained that I needed statements for my parents account (they have been members there for 30+ years, and so have my husband and I). I am now an executor legally for my mom (**** probate court just issued letters of testamentary and LGE has 2 copies now). LGE is refusing to give me viewing access to my parents account now that they have passed, and today I need to view the 2023 statements. *** is determined to charge a fee for emailing me statements to my parents account for which I had access to before they passed (I was BOTH my parents power of attorney). My parents had severe dementia and I have been taking care of them for over 2 years, and now both have passed in the same time frame. I am heart broken, and LGE is DETERMINED to make money off of our family's heart break. **************** is refusing to help me, the branch is refusing to help me. *** is NOT A PLACE TO BANK for anyone grieving. MOVE your parents money BEFORE LGE ***** the life out of you.

      I've been a member for over 7 years and my card gets locked multiple times a month. I am so tired of having to call these people. It takes almost an hour to talk to anyone. Need a new card? 5-7 days shipping. Do yourself a favor and skip this hole in the wall. Go to a real bank.

      I got transferred out if Georgia to **********. I refinanced my auto from LGECCU to my current lein holder. When they why way I was refinancing, I told that I got transferred and needed a local back. The new lender notified LGECCU on 4 separate occasions giving LGECCU the correct address to send the title. The employees started getting rude and snotty. Out of spite and vengeful, employees og LGECCU sent my title to some obscure bank. Causing my loan interest rate to go from 3.9% to ****%.

      The response to other reviews seem typical of my experience with LGE, and I'd bet each of them has gone round and round with LGE accomplishing nothing. Their technology would have been embarrassing in ****, their services spotty at best. Been a customer for several years, and recently tried to access my accounts only to find my son's log-in giving me the "account has been disabled" message. No one to explain outside banker's hours, and a long phone call. Chat doesn't work, help and site search nonfunctional too. ***** in customer service informed me that she didn't know why, but probably because I hadn't logged in for "1 month"..."6 months"..."a while". Clear as mud, thanks! (And inaccurate, as I do log in often, but having deleted the account, their's no longer a record of last log in... convenient no?) Glad it wasn't an emergency to access the accounts. They require you go on your own and REREGISTER your accounts, choosing a new Username of course, since they consider your old one still in use despite wiping your access, prior messages, transactions, all your prior information. Their interest rates are quite low, fees high and wide, not that you'll likely know until they've pulled several fees from you since they don't have the fee schedule posted anywhere accessible. Doesn't seem legal... Oh, and though I don't often go to a branch, a friend who also banks with them has lamented that they do everything via ATM, you can't talk to a live teller. He also had difficulty taking out $1000 from his accounts. It took 2 trips and a personal chat with the absent manager. Friends don't let friends bank at LGE!
