  Pertains to The ***** at *******, **** bought my home at the ***** in the fall of 2023. I spent an enjoyable Christmas there. I still have questions about maintenance, since I'm a first time homeowner, and the Project Manager, ***********************, is available to answer my questions!I asked for customization of my home (no carpet), and ****************** was able to change the original plan without any problems. He also warned me about a freeze during the winter and what I needed to do to protect the pipes.There have been a few wind storm events in the past few months. The house held up very well!

  I'm not surprised this company has a D- rating. If I were grading them, I'd give them an F-, and if I could give them negative stars, I would. They are total CROOKS... and as indicated by the other reviews here, they are also greedy and profit-driven. In my case, my complaint is not about their homes, although I understand those are built shoddily and with little concern for safety, conservation, or residents' concerns. My case is about their total negligence and lack of respect. I entered into a contract with Brock Built Homes for the purchase of my property in *********. While we were in the due diligence period, they sent someone out to the property, allegedly to conduct a survey. The crew cut down at least 50 trees, including some old growth trees and hardwoods. At the time, I thought the property was being purchased by them, and when I asked them about the trees they were *******, they promised that if the deal fell through, they would reimburse me for the trees. The deal did, indeed, fall through, and I never heard a peep out of them again. They left a HUGE mess on my property, and they cut down trees my children used to climb and play under. They didn't give a hoot about the environmental or emotional damage they were causing. I filed a claim against them in small claims court, but of course they didn't bother to show up. Needless to say, they will also hide their heads in the sand and won't respond to this review. They should not be allowed to continue to do business.

  I've had the opportunity to work with the builder on multiple fronts. They have some of the best land positions in the ******* area and beautiful homes.

  My husband and I decided to downsize and buy our retirement home. We bought a house from this company to be built. Everyone was nice until they got our Down payment. Mistakes started to pile up from the get go. From the wrong floor plan to the wrong elevation to the very poor quality construction. The front gables were tilted , roof tresses where angled, holes in the roof, wall boards that did not join properly, floor boards that did not meet the wall, tilted upper level with crooked wall, cement floor that cracked all the way to the dirt, uneven windows, and the list goes on and on ( I have taken may picture to prove my claim). Dealing with the construction manger proved to be impossible, very unfriendly and not willing to admit to any mistakes. His answer to our multiple complains was " If everything was done properly from the fist time, I will not have a job".All these issues were brought to the sales office and we got the same answers ( we know and everything will be fixed before closing). Unfortunately nothing was fixed. We decided to walk away form the sale since we were no ready to buy a house with all these issues, mistakes and poor quality. We wrote letters to the owner, the chief operating officer, the manager of sales and marketing with no response.Finally the NEW sales person called us back and offered 50% of the deposit and the option to walk away. We took the offer.However we feel cheated and discriminated against. this company should have done right by us and gave us our hard earned money back. they did not uphold their end of the dealing contract by building us a sound and safe home. My advise to any new buyer, WALK AWAY AND AVOID THIS BUILDER.
