The oil pan was damaged, the sensor was damaged and they were replaced at my expense. The dealer was notified of all this. Response from them? Car was fine when it left here. The oil light was reset and the car was driven back home. Along the way, the warning light and the noise that goes along with it came back. This time the car was taken to the local VW dealership for further evaluation. It was here that they told us they had found metal shavings in the oil and that the engine was in mechanical failure. In other words, there is a need for a new engine.****'s response to the news: " That's unfortunate. As you know the car does not come with a warranty or a cool off period here in Georgia unless you buy the extended warranty"We are now resorting to communication via attorney after **** was notified that we would be taking that route if his company did not rectify the situation. His response? Basically that the kid ruined the very delicate car by not knowing how to drive it and put 87 gasoline in a premium gasoline tank. VW dealer verifies this would not cause the damage found on the engine. We have documented all milage, all paperwork, all communication between all involved parties and are more than happy to provide to any interested parties in making their decision to purchase from this company.Further, I would like to offer anyone who test drove this car for purchase but was consequently denied financing to please contact me. I would also like to offer for anyone familiar with this 2014 Black VW R-Line Beetle vehicle to contact me.This matter is now about principle and I will not rest and will spend whatever sums to ensure no one else is ripped off. Companies like this should be forced out of business and it starts with buyers not giving up after being taken to the cleaners.I also invite anyone who has purchased vehicles from this company that have later malfunctioned and given no recourse by Prime Time Auto Sales to contact me.Thank you for reading.
