    Absolutely horrible experience. My wife took her car up there to see about an oil leak. They did an inspection of the car and quoted her over $900 so we decided to get a second opinion. But while she was there she was told she could have the 90k service and said it would be about $190 so she agreed and they held her car in the back for over 4 hours even though she repeatedly told them that she had things to do and was promised it would be done in 2 hours. When she went to pay she was handed an iPad to sign with no price on it, so she signed and two days later she checked her bank account to see a $964 charge from **** After many many attempts to reach the manager we were finally able to speak to him and he was extremely condescending towards my wife and was blaming it all on her. Even though his employee failed to be transparent on the cost of the service and completely took advantage of her. I then called the manager where he said he would review the footage and get back with me on what they were going to do. He never called me back so I was forced to call **** customer service to file a complaint. This is the worst experience I have ever had with an auto shop. They couldnt have been more dishonest, untrustworthy, and unprofessional about the entire experience. I will never return and hope *** takes action because this reflects very poorly on them.

    First I took my car in to get the recall fixed. They told me I had a nail in my tire that could not be plugged so it needed to be replaced. My husband said they needed to replace at least 2 as it would cause issues later down the road and the wear pattern. They acted like they never heard about that and tried to only sell me on one. I ignored and got the second tire. Then my check engine light came on (2023 *** sportage) I made an appointment and the first available was 2 weeks out. So 2 weeks later I took the car in they stated it would take 2 weeks to ever diagnose and even though my car was under warranty they would not give me a rental until it was diagnosed. So after calling constantly for updates it was 3 weeks until they gave me an information and when I asked for a rental the manager was noticeably irritated I even asked. Still 2 weeks went by with no update on my car. Eventually they had to open a case to get my engine replaced but it was denied as they said I needed to provide the receipts for every time I bought oil to change the oil in the car. (No I didnt think to keep a ******* receipt from a year ago) we even asked where it stated we needed to keep the receipts for the warranty and they could not provide an answer. Ill never take my car back to this dealership. The only reason I bought a *** was for the warranty so needless to say once I sell this car Ill never buy another *** again

    Worst dealership ever. The service department is very unprofessional, u trained and dismissive to customer concerns even when the customer is right. The service center has had my car since August 15th and it is almost October, no car and no communication from the dealership. The leadership is never available and the one service supervisor that is available is unprofessional and acts just as dismissive as the advisors. As if it is not already irritating to have a car with continuous issues, the people that you rely on to fix it makes the experience just that much worse. I will never recommend anyone get a Kia, and if you do have one, to never go to the McDonough location for fixtures.

    Hello,I am trying to reach the general manager *********************** of ********* The reason I am emailing you because I called your service number and explained I had some issues that needed a diagnostic done. I was told by ***** it will be a week or two before my car be looked at. I agreed because everywhere else told me May 1st and ***** knew that and sure me as week or two. I drop off my 2015 Kia ******* off. He told me again after me asking him again about a week or two. Fast forward two weeks went pass and I text him about my vehicle. He responded eventually saying I had a few cars still in front of me. I said ok , but you did tell me a week or two. During the whole time I was renting vehicles. So I rented a vehicle for another week. That week passed and I reach out to him again inquiring about my vehicle. Still the same response. To some this story up you all had my vehicle for a month and a week before calling me with a price like $6000. I spent about $3000 just in rental cars due to ***** not being honest with me from the jump. He explained to me it was only 2 technicians, some got fired and some in training. I told him I understand but I was told one thing and it's costing me so much money to keep renting cars for about $600 a week. My question is I am unable to get car fixed because you all kept it so long. I exhausted all my funds to get it fixed. Can my car get fixed for free. Just that part because you all inconvenience me so bad that my car is still up there waiting for me to get picked up because I am low on funds right now. You all put me in a jammed

    Back in June paid $4500 to get my car fixed, 30 min later after leaving the the dealership the check engine light came back so had to take *** care back the next day due to them going to be close but the time I made it back to them. Took my car back to get the problem fix and at first they tried to make me pay for it. Fast-forward to August I had to get my car towed to the shop agin because my check engine light came back on and the car started spurting. The one person that was doing her job "*******" and they had a problem with it because she was actually trying to help me out they FIRED and when I asked where ** was, they lied and said"she was fired because she wasn't doing her job "LIES". Today is October 25, 2023 and my car is still not fixed I've been waiting on a check to come so they can start fixing "what's wrong with it now" I have called every other day asking have it came and each time I called they said they didn't have it ,come to find out yesterday that the check was already cashed and it cleared on October 4,2023. When I went to address the issue they told me they would look into it, the next day they told me I could come get my car and thke it to get fixed somewhere else because they didn't want to be reliable for it if something else happen and they will return my money, because I stated just fix my car the way it should have been done in the first place and SONS KIA will never see or hear from me again. How can you do this when you already cashed the check on something that was not fixed and know you are wrong for that. When I asked to speak to the "GENERAL MANGER" *********************** he showed he could care less of the issues and problems I've had in the past and present and TOLD ME TO TAKE MY CAR TO ANOTHER SHOP AND TO GET OUT HIS OFFICE, talking about HORRIBLE customer service and care.

    Warning! If you buy an extended service contract from any Sons business, and the vehicle is totaled, or sold, and you try to cancel, and get a refund, good luck. The refund is totally up to them, not the insurance company. Filed three weeks ago, and was told six to eight weeks. In the meantime GAP wont pay until they get a refund letter from the dealer. In the meantime the payments to the ********************* continues. Never ever ever buy one from dealers! Its all profit and they will stall, and stall. In the meantime I personally am about to take legal action in state court, after one more attempt to get it from them which I highly doubt will happen. Their corporate office does a good job of hiding all forms of contact from the public, but we will see if a subpoena gets their attention. Should they respond favorably, this review will be updated.

    I been dealing with this engine problem since 11/2022. They replaced my engine which I had to pay an additional $569.00 for the engine package. 2 weeks later the engine light came back on. They said it was the turbo sensor and charged me another $469.00 after I spoke to the "General Manager." I went back in April because the engine was making a terrible noise. The guy told me to video/audio tape the sound; I complied. I returned in August and they told me they had to replace the engine again. Went back twice in September after the engine has been replace and they said it was the **************** the engine light is back as on and it's not the a/c compressor causing this problem. Run/Stay away!!! It's awful to have to deal with this for almost a year!

    My name is *****, I am 71 years of age, disabled and need a power wheelchair to get around.On April 14, 2023, while at Sons Kia in McDonough, ********* spoke with salesman Mr. ************************* in regard to finding a vehicle that would allow me to tow my power wheelchair.Salesman ****** was provided with the specification information for my wheelchair and the weight requirements to tow it. He advised that the New 2023 Kia ****** S FWD would provide me with the towing ability I would need to tow my power wheelchair. Salesman ****** assured me that the vehicle would meet my towing needs, and offered as a bonus that the dealership would pay for and install the tow hitch. Based on his information I made the purchase. *******'s made the arrangements for installation of the tow hitch and negotiated the price. Sons Kia provided me a check in the amount of $342.00. I reached out to a local power lift company who is a member of the National Mobility Equipment Dealers, to get the power wheelchair lift installed and was told that my newly purchased Kia ****** S FWD did not have the ability to tow my power wheelchair and was refused installation because of the information provided in the vehicles owners manual, reference the manufacturers warranty information. I was also advised that if the lift/ramp was installed it would affect the new vehicles manufacturers warranty. Salesman Mr. ************************* now claims that it was a misunderstanding and that you all were not aware that I was purchasing the vehicle for the specific purpose of its towing ability.This has caused me a great hardship. What I also have is the understanding that as a community dealership, it should be your responsibility to make this right and show the community that your dealership can be trusted.

    I paid for a warranty from *************** that entitles me to visit any Kia ********** for vehicle issues. Living and working in Henry county, the most convenient Kia ********** for me is *********, located between my job and home. Despite confirming with *************** that I could go to any dealer, the service department at ********* told me otherwise. A staff member, a light-skinned black (or multiracial) woman with curly hair, insisted that my warranty is only valid at the dealership where I bought the car. I felt uncomfortable due to the strange looks she gave me before I even explained the situation.

    I am very regretful doing business with Sons Kia. My sales person ****** was amazing, however the back end of doing business has been a nightmare. The dealership failed to pay my trade in's auto loan off within 20 days. I am now stuck paying the late fees, and other charges associated with the loan due to the dealerships negligence. After trying for over a month to resolve this issue, the dealership is not interested in helping with these fees from their doings. The dealerships communication skills are below subpar, and they do not value their customers. 0/10 take your business elsewhere.
