I rarely write a negative review but I felt compelled to do so after my recent experience with this company. Idan himself was a great guy -- very personable and professional. Unfortunately the work and office staff were subpar. We had our beverage cooler stop working and I initially emailed with the manufacturer directly to find a solution. We confirmed the compressor was working, but the unit was still not cooling so they suggested I work with someone locally. I was referred to Mr. *** and wanted to give them a try. Idan came out and replaced a small part in the unit, saying it wasn't the manufacturer part but we should still be fine and give it 1 day to cool down (this was a Friday -- had to pay $426 for this visit + the tiny part). On Saturday afternoon we checked the unit and it was actually blowing out hot air and the entire interior was hot. I called Monday to have Idan come back out. He came out that Wednesday and confirmed the part short-circuited and now the compressor isn't working so the entire unit is blown and will have to be replaced. He refunded us $189 for the part but would not budge on any other refunds despite installing a part that ultimately blew the entire unit. I called the office and the woman who handles the calls was EXTREMELY rude. Before I said *************************** and said "no more talking, I know what happened". She said "I'll ask about a refund and follow up". Of course she never followed up so when I called again she just said "he said no, sorry." I asked to speak to the person directly and she refused to let me contact him. We ended up having to spend almost $1k on a new beverage cooler and were still out of pocket $237 from Idan's visit. Overall I had an awful and very frustrating experience. Save your money and use someone else!!!

Hello Mrs. ******* We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to provide further clarification. At *** Fix Appliance Repair, we strive to deliver professional service and ensure customer *************** your case, our technician, Idan, worked diligently to diagnose and resolve the issue with your beverage cooler. As part of our standard approach, we begin troubleshooting with the most common causes to avoid unnecessary costs for our clients.During the first visit on March 28, 2025, Idan identified a faulty overload device, replaced it, and charged $427.79 for labor and part. When the unit did not resume proper cooling, you reached out again.Idan returned without additional charges, replaced a second part that had short-circuited, and spent additional time evaluating the system.Upon further inspection, he determined that the root cause was a malfunctioning compressor, which had also caused previous components to fail. At that point, your husband opted not to proceed with the compressor ************** demonstrate goodwill, we refunded $189.79 for the initial partdespite the time and effort spent on both visits, each lasting nearly two hours. When you later requested a full refund, we respectfully declined due to the considerable time, diagnostic effort, and the additional uncharged part provided. Idan acted professionally throughout the process and offered clear explanations and options.Regarding your communication with our office, we sincerely apologize for any frustration caused. We attempted to follow up as soon as the appropriate person was available to respond fully, and we regret any miscommunication. We take feedback seriously and are continuously working to improve. While we are very disappointed by your review, we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. We remain committed to transparency, fairness, and customer satisfaction. We are always determined to learn from experience and improve our service!
