    This company is suing me for a supposed debt, but has never attempted to contact me, and I do not owe a debt. Attempts to contact them have failed. I want information regarding this supposed debt in order to verify it's validation or lack thereof.

    I received a court summons stating FIRST PORTFOLIO VENTURES, LLC was suing me for an unpaid debt that they had notified me about. I have NEVER heard of this company and currently dont have any debt so Im confused. I have tried to contact them and cant find a telephone number. The summons was left at an old address of mine and Im still friends with the other tenants in the other apartments. My signature is nowhere on the documents they state is proof that I accepted this debt. I dont know what to do.

    Some guy served papers to my mom's house that I haven't lived at in years. I have never heard from this company. I don't even know what this so called debt is. No mail, No phone call, No email, honestly absolutely no ideal . It from first portfolio ventures . . There's not even a contact to find out what this is. I am not responsible for this debt.

    I just found out I have a pending court date. I have never received the first call from you or piece of mail. My daughter created this debt but I want to negotiate a payment plan and reduction.     This account was processed without my knowledge. There are not two accounts.  I have personally spoken to Uplift to verify the charges and have copies of all the payments that were made.  There is a $689.48 balance not $1200.  Again, there is only one uplift account in my name.  Please send me documentation of these accounts.

    This company had a debt collector contact me. I have never heard of the company or any of its entities. They are asking for an amount over $300 but will not enclose more information. I dont know if this is a scam as my identity was stolen.

    Subject: Incorrect Creditor Verification: Failed to remove item on my credit report.

    To Whom It May **************** On December 28, 2023, I received a letter from First Portfolio Ventures indicating that they are no longer responsible nor assigned to this debt. Below you will find that they gave incorrect information to me, and the *****
     
    I have enclosed a piece of evidence from my Experian credit report (#************ for 11/14/23) indicating that this debt is still assigned and sold to First Portfolio Ventures highlighted. Additionally, the account was written off in Oct 2018.

    I have shown contrary to First Portfolio Ventures' response that this information on my credit report #*********** is indeed assigned to First Portfolio Ventures which is inaccurate and should be removed from my credit file immediately.

    I am distressed that you have failed to remove the inaccurate information from my credit profile and that you have failed to maintain reasonable procedures in your operations to assure the maximum possible accuracy in the information you published and assigned to subsequent collection agencies. Credit reporting laws ensure the reporting of only 100% accurate credit information. Every step must be taken to assure the information reported is completely accurate and correct and as such represents a grave error.  

    Furthermore, this matter is in violation under 15 U.S. Code 1681i (5) Removal of Inaccurate/invalidated Credit Information and 15 U.S. Code 1681e(b) - Compliance procedures maximum possible accuracy.
     
    I am enclosing proof from my credit report with the incorrect data highlighted.This incorrect and negative information is damaging my credit. Please remove this incorrect information at once and send me an updated copy of my credit history report. I also request that you please send notices of corrections to anyone who received my credit report in the past 12 months.
