I keep receiving debt collection notices but I did not create the debt they are referring to. I do not have anything in credit report and never received billing information prior to them sending me constant debt collection letters to my home address.

I am rejecting this response because: I received several letters stating I owe a debt and Ive never heard of this agency I tried doing research to see what its regards to because all I see is Portfolio Ventures it doesnt specify where the debt came from. As well as when I called Onemain, Transunion and Equifax they said they dont see any debt matching that on my credit except for OneMain so if thats what this is in regards to I had spoke to them and they said they dont see anything open so I froze my credit due to someone stealing my information.

I purchased some sound equipment from Time Payment that was supposed to be "financing". Never once was a "lease" mentioned. I signed papers via internet for the purchase. After paying on the balance for a period of time I looked at the balance and saw that I was in a lease agreement. I called the company and they totally blew me off and said it was my fault for not reading the document which was falsely represented. I quit paying and called several time to settle but no luck. So I was turned to collections. This was on my credit report and I fought it and it was removed. Now I've received a summons to court from Portfolio Ventures threatening a judgement. I've researched and these guys look like a scam. I can find no legit information on them other than all of these complaints. I tried to call and I get no answer. This is all a bunch of c*** False representation from Time Payment and now a fraud collection agency.

First portfolio ventures II,LLC has never made me aware that they had obtained my information nor did I give them permission. Ive never heard of this company and never did business with them. They actually never contacted me or served me via phone, email, or letter. I get a call from my grandmother stating she was being taken to court by this company. We weren't aware of why she received any letter we tried many times to get in contact with the company once we had a working number. Messages were left but never returned and that was just to get more information to see what the debt was neither of us aware that we had to put in an answer to dispute. There wasn't a notice to collect a debt rather court papers telling her to appear mentioning myself now. I'm sure they targeted and intentionally tried to confuse my grandmother by not providing her any details because she is elderly assuming it would be an easy way to obtain money with no hassle. I'm the primary on the debt and I never received ANY form of notice I have had the same number and email upwards of 16 years so if i were to fill out any paper work in that time that would've been the number and email provided. I admittedly feel that they reached out to her as a ploy to avoid being met with any resistance strictly based off her age. Again I state I myself have received NOTHING regarding this matter. They could've very well sent my letter to the same address even though the address on file is occupied by family so if I had mail that did come there for me, they would've given it to me. I believe this deceitful way of practice is extremely sneaky, dishonest, and a shameful yet easy way to "get over". It worries me knowing there's absolutely no way of finding out how many ppl they have done this to that actually fell victim out of fear.

To: First Portfolio Ventures II, LLC Representing UPLIFT Loan Payments by Frontier Airlines.I was within an awful negative Environment; and needed to relocate on a really short notice.I Traveled from *******, ********* to the ****************. I was out of worked for longer than expected. I was greatly slandered by my Caseworker at a homeless shelter; at my first job in *******, because she wanted to pressure me against my reasonable culture and into prostitution. Therefore, on the same day as my paid orientation, someone (***** at ************************** Branch) pull out a loaded gun and started shooting warning shots at people to ruin my chances of having employment. They themselves said, your Caseworker hates you for trying to do the right thing. I was about to start a Full-Time good paying job within a reasonable timeframe to pay all debts off standard. They said there coworker ***** Did too much, and now I had to wait a few weeks for another reassignment. And most likely, probably somewhere else. It took so long with their hiring procedures, I didn't want to wait or go nowhere else. They said no referrals to not any job sites. This situation caused me to be unexpectedly unemployed multiple months additionally. Therefore, I was completely financially unstable and homeless. So now I am still homeless and just recently started a Part-Time job unloading and loading trucks. I remembered what I promised and tried to keep it. My check is very small and disencouraging already. I started researching to pay off any older Bills to get out of debt and off the streets. Now, UPLIFT is reporting me to a Collection Agent. That is evil; because I just recently voluntary paid them multiple payments to get the balance down. Please, help reasonably.

I reached out to them to get information of my account ( the original charge off date) they told me they did not know where it was and that maybe it didnt hit yet. They have had it since April of this year. Rude people. I could end up homeless because I urgently needed a paper with the date on it which they should have if they are reporting to the credit bureaus!!! Crazy this company is a joke

The original debt was with the ************************. I've contacted Time Payment which reports the debt is now owned by First Portfolio Ventures, LLC. I've tried to contact First Portfolio to get information to settle the debt but have not gotten anything from them. My credit report shows the debt still belonging to Time Payment with no information reported since March 2020.I've called and sent several letters without getting any response other than to call a different phone number. I was able to speak with someone over a month ago who did not speak English well. I asked for the information to be mailed to my address so I could see, in writing, what was owed and how to pay it.I really need to clear this debt ASAP and am filing this complaint in a last-ditch effort to get this issue handled.
