At the beginning of the year, a tree fell on to one of my properties. A claim with the insurance was made, and they provided us with a reference company, ************************* with A Superior Contracting, who could complete the work of a full rehabilitation due to the major damages. An initial check of $26,104.46 was given to ******* on May 5th from ***********************, and $47,662.08 was given to ******* on May 14th 2022. These checks were given to ******* under the instruction of the claims adjuster. There has been no efforts on moving forward with the rehabilitation of the property since then. As of September 2nd, only the items inside of the house have been removed. These items were placed into a pod on the side of the house which is accruing costs over time (since May). We are still waiting on the valuables to be removed from the back room which has been communicated multiple times to ******* since April. The tarp that was placed on roof months ago has been partially blown off over 60 days ago due to weather and negligence of rehab maintenance by contractor. This tarp ensured that rain did not continue to ruin the structure of the home. To reiterate, since months have passed the property is surely becoming more damaged which could mean even more repairs than initially quoted. The stall in fixing this property has resulted in 7 months of not receiving rent from tenants that is funneled to the utilities and property taxes of the home. Homeowner, ***********************, is having to pay these out of pocket while weve waited two months for permits to be obtained by the City and architectural drawings to be done which ******* continues to communicate. We recently found out he never submitted a request for permit with city. At this point, we have no hope that he will complete the work and do not want him to as he is not reliable or trustworthy and doesnt always respond. We would like a full refund of our money to ensure the work is done by another credible resource. Please help.

I hired *********************** to complete my home restoration after I had a major water leak at my house. He agreed to complete the work on 28 April 2022. I paid him in full because it was through my homeowner's insurance for $38,132.26. A job that usually takes less than a month has been over four months of constantly trying to get ahold of him. He has not been responding to any of my Communications.

My water heater broke in ******. My ***************** StateFarm gave me a check for over twenty two thousand dollars for the damages to my home. I went to the bank and had a cashiers check made out to the company plus I had to give them a extra thousand dollars for the company, they told me I had to pay a deductable of thousand dollars. In fact they received over twenty three thousand dollars from me. I had to give them the money for they told me they wouldn't finish the work until they was paid. They did less than 1/3 of the repairs that was suppose to do. I gave them the check the first week of Nov 2021. Since then No other work has been done. I been calling, texting, leaving voice mails and emailing. No contact with me. My downstairs is such a mess. I owned my home for 25 years. I explained to Statefarm what happened. They told me to seek legal action. I do have two more emails the company gave to me. I can send those in another if you all need it.
