DO NOT GO TO SOUTHTOWNE HYUNDAI. False businesses practices, This is a horrible place to come and have your car serviced, they are crooks! We took our car to site back in February 2024.*************************** who was the *** at the time informed me after the initial diagnostics was done that the car needed a new TURBO, approx. $3,600. Moved forward with the service, came back a few weeks later to pick car up, grilled them before taking car off lot, asking service-related questions and repeatedly asked them if they drove the car. They said yes, which could not be true because we did not drive car one-half mile before returning with issues. They took the car back and held for TWO more weeks before stating that Catalytic converter was bad and for an additional $6,000+ they could fix that issue. Had the folks at Hyundai would have done their job properly and told me that it would be between $3,00 and $10,000 to fix the issues I would have reconsidered the service. ******* manager stated he would submit to Hyundai Corporate an application to have them pay for all or part of the catalytic replacement. They came back with a denial, per the ******* Manager. The ******* Manager informed me that they could Not share with me the request that was filed with Corporate. My daughter and I have made repeated attempts to work with this business to resolve the issue and get their support. I have spoken to Daphine, *****, ******************************** (former ********** ******* Manager, pending a call back from the Business Manager. I now have a car that we removed from the lot in June that sat there since February, looking at storage charges if I didnt, a car that is in worse condition than before I left in their hands. Please consumers, I highly recommend you stay away from this location and maybe the product and service Hyundai as a Corporation offers.
