Company scammed us. They tried to slip in an additional 10k onto a loan beyond agreement which our bank thankfully caught. They also promised to refund a $1000 deposit but we're over 2 weeks now and there's not even a pending transaction. They won't return my calls. The *** they tried to sell us even had an engine light on. I'm speaking of ***, ******, ****, and *******.

I purchased a new car on 2/3/24. I traded my old car. I paid ALM to have an after-market sunroof installed in my new car. I changed my mind/ called to cancel, requested a refund. Was told they could not sell my trade-in at auction because the title was in my married name. Emailed proof of name change and waited. No response. Called the corporate office to file a complaint. The ** of *** told me that he would have me ARRESTED if I didnt send proof of name change OR bring them $2500 (trade in allowance). Got email ******* stating he would take legal action against me w/ the Roswell PD if I didn't bring $2500. I called local tax commissioner for help /asked what the *** requires for a title. The lady asked for my drivers license # and told me that my old car had been SOLD /RETITLED back in March! SoALM is demanding I pay them back the $2500 for my trade or be arrested and they had already SOLD my trade in car! The money for the sunroof was included in my financing so I have been paying interest for 3 months now on $1400 that they have failed to reimburse. I was in literal tears at work on Wednesday after being threatened with legal action and arrest by 2 different individuals including the Vice president of the company. This dealership has 696 reviews on "Dealer Rater.com" with a 2.9 rating out of 5. There are MANY reviews about their terrible business practices. I have 5 pages of emails verifying all of this as well as one recorded phone coversation where I was told the title issue was fixed and I could not come get my trade. Copies of emails are attached where I was threatened and refused to be reimbursed.

I am filing a complaint against Atlanta Luxury Motors Roswell concerning an incident that took place during my visit to their dealership on March 1, 2024. As a first-time car buyer, I felt pressured and intimidated into providing my credit card information at the dealership, despite my reluctance. Under duress, the car salesman at ALM insisted that I postpone taking my medication to facilitate the signing of essential documents and the initiation of a down payment. Despite my refusal to commit to a down payment and the absence of my signature on vital documents such as the buyer's order, final purchase agreement, and title reassignment, I later discovered they charged my credit card the next day. It's important to note that I did not even proceed to the finance department to discuss these financial matters and I wasnt there when they made that charge. This clearly demonstrates my lack of consent to the purchase, especially as the vehicle remains advertised for sale on ALM Roswell's website and other platforms. The dealership has been uncooperative in resolving the matter. I believe that Atlanta Luxury Motors Roswell's actions violate ethical business practices and constitute deceptive and coercive behavior towards consumers. I urge the Better Business Bureau to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that other consumers are not subjected to similar experiences in the future. I request assistance in obtaining a refund for the charge on my credit card and ensuring that Atlanta Luxury Motors Roswell ceases such unethical practices.

I do not understand how someone can force you to put a deposit on a vehicle that is you came to the dealership to purchase. We provide vehicles for sale to the public, we do not force anyone to do anything, that being said if you put a deposit on a vehicle and subsequently change your mind the deposit will be refiunded. Did you call the dealership and let them know that you are no longer interested in this vehicle? We will process the refund.

Thank you for addressing my concern. Despite my multiple calls last week expressing my disinterest in the vehicle and discussing the situation, my request for a refund was denied. I called again earlier today, and the dealership assured me that the refund had been processed. However, I have not received any confirmation from my bank. Could you please provide further confirmation?

I purchased a vehicle in January 2023 from the *** in *********, which has since been shut down. I Sold the vehicle in June 2023. I'm owned the balance of my *** insurance to the total of $2200. I sent a lien release to the corporate *** office via **** in July. In August I reached back out asking where my refund was, I was told they never received the lien release. I obtained a second lien release, scanned and emailed it to *** corporate office and it was confirmed they recieved it. I reached out again in September requesting an ETA on my refund, to no avail. Since September 2023 I have sent numerous emails, I've called numerous times and I do not get a response back via email. The corporate phone number most of the time no one picks up and it just rings. Yesterday (1/2/24) I was able to get someone to answer my call, just to be told they can't help me and I have to speak to EasyCare who the *** policy was through. I explained that is not the case and *** has to refund me. She placed me back on hold, total time on hold was 1 hour and 7 minutes. She took me off hold and hung up on me. I called back 5 times in a row, the phone would pick up and then I would be hung up on. I called EasyCare, and they stated the money was credited back to *** in July 2023,and they were unable to cut me another check. I emailed the ** of *** on 1/3/24, with no response. I called *** corporate again today 1/4/24, numerous times, without getting anyone to answer the phone. I had a conversation with the owner of ALM Roswell yesterday who provided me with the **'s email and guaranteed he would resolve this issue for me. ******** (owner of Roswell) is not responding to my text messages now as well.

On July 15, 2023, I purchased a used 2019 white ***** Tahoe from *** in Roswell, *******. My salesperson was *************************. The following day after purchasing the vehicle, the engine light came on. I had 5 days to bring the vehicle back. Prior to me taking the vehicle back, I had *** Boys scan it to see what the issue was. I was told by *** Boys; the catalytic converter was bad, and O2 Sensor needed to be replaced. I spoke to ****** he spoke to his manager ********. ****** told me to bring the vehicle back and they will replace the catalytic converter and O2 Sensor. I took the vehicle back to *** and they replaced both. After the catalytic converter/O2 Sensor were replaced, I asked for a receipt. I received a piece of folded copy paper with the words Catalytic Converter O2 Sensor (Please see attachment) written with an ink pen. I could not believe the mechanic handed that to me. I asked for a receipt for my records which he could not provide me with. I had to bring the vehicle back at least 2-3 times and they still could not fix the issue. My second or third time there dealing with the engine light, I finally met the manager, ********. He introduced himself to me and told me he was going to take care of it, and we shook hands. I stayed up there for 8 hours at least on two different occasions waiting for them to fix my vehicle. I asked them if they have any loaner vehicles, I was told they do not have loaner vehicles. After my vehicle was fixed, ******** told me to drive the truck at least 100 miles to make sure the engine light did not come on. He said if it comes back on, bring it back well take care it You have my word. Well, that was a lie. He told me that if I had to bring it back, he would take it to the ***** dealership. That was another lie. After driving the vehicle over 100 miles within a week, the engine light popped back on. I did not want to keep dealing with ***, so I took it to *** Boys again to get it scanned and possibly get it fixed. The diagnosis was O2 Sensor wire is grounded to body. *** Boys refused to even touch my car because of that issue. They told me to take it back to the mechanic who replaced the catalytic converter and O2 Sensor. After leaving *** Boys, I called *** several times and left maybe 1-2 messages. Finally, after a few days, ******** picked the phone up. He was not professional at all and went back on his word just that fast. He acted as if he never told me that. We literally debated over the phone about what he told me just a week before. I said you told me to bring the vehicle back if the engine light comes back on after I drive 100 miles. I had explained to him how *** Boys refused to fix the vehicle. He was unpleasant and very unprofessional. I told him I needed my vehicle fixed due to me having surgery and my relatives were coming for my surgery to help. ******** had the audacity to ask me when my surgery was. That was none of his business. I explained to him I was a Disabled War Veteran and will show him my medical records if he would like to see them. He changed his attitude very quickly and said he will have one of his guys pick my vehicle up from my home and drop it back off. He also told me he was going to take the vehicle to a ***** Dealership and have them fix it. I was satisfied with the idea of them having a ***** dealership fix the problem. ******** also gave me his cell number. I was confident that we were on the right track. We ended the call amicably. When the *** person picked up my vehicle from my home at the beginning of September 2023, he and I swapped vehicles. He gave me a loaner car. I was shocked because I was told prior to that day that they did not have loaner cars. I missed 16 hours of work dealing with these folks. It took them a few days to bring me my vehicle back. When the guy dropped off my vehicle on 9/5/2023 or 9/6/2023, I asked him if they took it to the ***** dealership like ******** said he would and he told me No. He informed that *** mechanics worked on my vehicle. I asked him why ******** lied to me and told me that. His response to me was, you will have to speak to ********. So, ******** lied to me again. I then asked him for the receipts to keep for my records. He said ******** will give me the receipts tomorrow. The next day I never heard from ********. I sent him a text message on 9/7/2023 at 12:18 pm and he never responded. I am also submitting the text message from that day (Please see attachment). Its been almost a week and I still have not received an email with my receipts nor have I heard from ********. Ive been going back and forth with *** since July 2023 and its September. My resolution and to make me whole is for them to email me receipts. I have every right as a customer to receive receipts for services performed on my vehicle and they are denying me this right. I do not want a verbal receipt or a receipt written on a piece of paper, I need to know exactly what services were performed on my vehicle. Thank you.

01/24/2023 Purchased a vehicle from ALM in ********, **. In the purchase agreement I purchased an EasyCare Warranty and GAP coverage. I had a service appointment set up for the Saturday two weeks later only to be told by workers clearing out lot that the business had closed its doors. No notice was given to local customers of this action. Late April, I started the process of refinancing my vehicle to get a lower interest rate. I successfully refinanced and closed on the new loan on May 25, 2023. With that completed, I submitted necessary requests and documents for refunds due me from EasyCare/ALM for the Warranty in excess of $4500. I was told that ALM Corporate would issue the refund since ********* location had closed. I have been in email contact with ALM warranty department and was told the refund had been approved and payment would come from Corporate. As of today, still no refund has been received and no one will provide a date to expect it. I feel that I get the run around, no answer and the feeling they hope I will "forget" about the refund. It is now over 60 days. I feel as if the funds are being held and no one will take the time to answer my requests. They make an easy administrative task difficult and stressful to the customer. I just want to know when to expect the refund. For reference, I have uploaded copies of emails relating to this matter.

As stated by the customer they purchased this vehicle in december of 2021. At the time of purchase the time of purchase the vehicle had ****** miles as of July 5th 2023, according to ****** the vehicle has ******* miles. This customer has put almost one hundred thousand miles on the vehicle since purchase. Maintenance and repairs are to be expected especialy with the unusually high mileage drive by this customer. hope this finds whoever well. February 27th, 2020 I purchased a used 2019 ************* CLA 250 VIN #***************** with a down payment of $1000 from the ALM ROSWELL location. Entering the contract was an IOU for some curb rash to one of the rims and slight damage to the front of the vehicle. After possessing ownership for a month, right before the shut down of Covid, I received a call from your dealership letting me know they were ready to fulfill the **** The next day you all called me stating the contract would be null and void because you all couldn't secure the loan with said finance company due to not being able to verify my identity which was fine. I asked when the $1000 would be remitted back to me plus the $295.56 I paid for putting tints on the vehicle in the short length of ownership and I was told I could come in to pick up a check within 30 days. Needless to say that never happened and that turned into a game of cat and mouse. After a plethora of phone calls, negative reviews and emails you all ceased communication with me and my funds were never received on the rescinded contract. Please note there are no statute of limitations on committing fraud which you all have now done at this point for failure to give me my money back. You all are in violation of multiple Georgia laws for engaging in deceptive conduct, unlawful practices and misrepresentation just for simply stating you all were fixing stuff on the vehicle where in actuality you all were repossessing your property. This could've been transparently explained during the process instead of omitting the truth. After two years of peacefully waiting for you all to rectify the problem it has now been brought to my attention you all have no intention to return my $1295.56.

I purchased a 2020 ******** from Atlanta Luxury Motors at their *********, ** outlet on June 6, 2022. I am in the military and stationed in ********, but since I am in the military, I can register my car in my home of record, which is in *******. I paid $24,477 for the car and they charged an additional $2345.03 for taxes. Instead of sending all the paperwork with the check for taxes to the ******* DMV, the corporate office in the Atlanta area sent all the paperwork to my home of record, which is my parent's house. My parents were out of the country at the time, but when they returned to *******, they took all the paperwork with the check for taxes to their local DMV and paid the taxes on the car for the title. The DMV agent said the dealership had actually overcharged me for taxes on the car as they should have only been $1646.47 or an overcharge by $698.56. My parents asked if they were going to give me the refund for the overcharge and the ******* DMV agent said they would send the refund back to ALM since the check was their corporate check. I have called the *********, ** ALM and also *********, ************ (who signed the check at the ********************* to ask about my refund, but to date no one has returned my calls. When my parents visited me, they drove to the ********* outlet on October 8th and were told by **** (on-site manager) the refund would have to come from Corporate (I am assuming that is *********'s office). All I can figure is the ********* outlet charged me the ******** tax rate which must be the $2345.03, whereas that is $698.56 more than they should have charged me for my ******* taxes. I believe I am entitled to the overcharge in taxes, rather than ALM adding it to their sale profit.
