I purchased a car from ALM on June 23, 2021. The dealership has failed to submit the needed paperwork for me to receive my car tag. I have made multiple attempts to contact the dealership about this issue and have had zero response. I was told by the secretary that the title was held up at the auction and they don't know how long it would take. The secretary also advised me to go to the DMV (wrong govt. agency) to ask for an extension for my temporary tag since it expired over a week ago. I called the tax commissioners office to ask about an extension and was told they could not give me an extension. I was told the dealership filed my temporary tag as me being an out-of-state resident, which is not the case. I've been trying to get in touch with the dealership to get this resolved and I keep getting the run around. The secretary keeps telling me the finance manager would call me, but that was 3 days ago.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/08/25) */ WE have been reaching out to the customer for her signature on additional paperwork. Please contact Amir at the Roswell location to sign the paperwork for us to finish processing the title Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/08/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I talked with Amir on 8/19 and he have me a number to call to check on the status. He said the paper work was not wrong and they did everything correctly. I called the number he gave me and talked so someone about the tag issue. The person I talked with was very confused as to why I was given the information from Amir. This was supposed to be for the dealership's internal use only. The person did go on to say that the paper work was submitted incorrectly. There was a deal put in for the temporary OUT OF STATE tag on 6/23 when the car was purchased. Another deal was submitted on 8/12 for a metal tag. This was after multiple phone calls to the dealership without any responses back. I was told the dealership messed up and it appeared that they were trying to cover their tracks by submitting for the metal plate. I have not communicated with Amir since 8/19. I did not have any missed calls are messages from Amir on or before 8/25 like he said. I tried calling him on 8/26 and I was sent directly to his voicemail and his inbox was full so I could not leave a message. I would like to hear from corporate on this matter.
