On May 19th I purchased a Porsche Macan turbo from ALM. I thought this lot was a professional dealership which they assured me of I was afraid to purchase from anything close to a buy here pay here and we spoke on that constantly. I purchased the car and within driving it for thirty days I heard squeaking. I set an appointment at Porsche to have the breaks checked out. I was told I need new breaks totaling close to **** dollars on a car I just received. I called ALM baffled that I would have to replace breaks on a new vehicle that I just purchased and only. I only drove the car around **** miles at that time. Im currently close to **** miles with an appointment set at the end of the month. **** the manager told me that the car is AS IS so he could not help me. I then told **** I thought ALM checked all cars before selling them I didnt realize they would sale a car with bad breaks. He told me they dont but the car is as is. He never pulled up my contract to see the miles on the car when purchased versus now. He simply asked my first name and proceeded to repeat he couldnt help me. This is extremely unfortunate there is a Porsches dealership across the street that I planned to purchase from but they assured me they would stand behind me the same as Porsche would and choosing ALM would be best for me not just on the day of purchase but in the future aswell. As soon as the first issue arrived I felt tossed to the side. I will never recommend anyone to ALm to purchase. Knowing that you guys have absolutely no standard on the cars condition prior to selling. I have a detailed report from porsche explaining how poor the breaks are no way they were at 50% when they sold it. **** didnt even ask to see the paperwork he assured me they did all they were suppose to gave me his name and hung up. It is important to grow business you get a manager thats not only involved in the sale but also cares enough about your brand to keep the customer happy or at least hear them out.

No one ever claimed the brakes were at 50% we recondition all of our vehicle and they must meet a certain spec which for brake pads is no less than 4mm. Any repairs or maintenance after the sale is the sole responsibility of the purchaser

I have provided all documents I have sent to the Director of Finance, Operations , and President of ALM.I bought this car on the 27th of April, and I immediately had an issue with oil and returned on the 30th I was distraught and asked the manager to allow me to return this car because I was within my grace ****** and he assured me I had a "Good Deal/Car" offered me an oil change and sent me on my way. I purchased this car with a FULL DIAGNOSTIC PACKAGE that was not done. I returned over this past month a total of at least 4 times, on Monday May 23rd the engine on the car blew and I am out of 12k. I have a newborn, and I work a job that requires me to drive. The most recent diagnostic proves no initial checks and repairs were made to this vehicle. The 1st car note for this car was due today 5/27/2022 and I had to pay that, the rental fee, and buy diapers. I am at a complete loss dealing with this situation. I am no fool. A used car may need a tune-up, a timing belt, maybe a water pump, but a brand new engine is a disgrace.

The customer purchased this vehicle as-is with no warranty. She was offered an extended service contract and declined it. She put almost **** miles on the vehicle before she had any problems. We have no way of knowing what she did with the vehicle after her purchase and have offered to try and help lower some of the cost of the repair, but ultimately she is responsible for any repairs to the vehicle

Company took advantage of single woman attempting to buy a new vehicle. The vehicle was a 2017 ******* mkc. Stock #HUL27007A start or is VIN #5LMTJ3DH price of vehicle was $26k . Vehicle was inspected by two mechanics and they both stated that vehicle had sat in water and had rust damage . Gaskets, struts, and muffler would need to be replaced due to amount of rust . Dealership tried to spray paint over rust to make it look sellable . Dealership then persuaded her to sign document that gives up her vehicle rights of the car she traded in and didnt tell her until she wanted her original car back because of damage. Sales rep and finance manager laughed and began to make her feel uncomfortable about situation she was in. They stated she could not get her car back due to contract and she has to find a new vehicle .Company is very unprofessional and will take advantage of you .

I purchased my vehicle in July of 2021. I have had no problems with it at all. my vehicle cost about 70k to 80k. I put down $9500 for down payment. I have since taken the vehicle to be appraised at which point the appraisers (carmax) told me they are unable to appraise my vehicle because it is not bonded to the **. so apparently my vehicle was imported in from ******, but not bonded to the ** - meaning the dealership was not supposed to be able to sell the vehicle. however I was able to buy it. how is this? I cant sell my car because I cant even get it appraised due to it not even being sold to me legally. I need help and this dealership should be held accountable so this does not happen to another consumer.

Bought a Tesla from ALM Roswell. After much fumbling and them sending me home with the wrong car initially, they finally gave me a car that had been wrecked and had front end damage that was poorly repaired. 3 months after the purchase, I took the car into Tesla and had to pay $1,300 to replace the front headlight because it had been glued together with non-car glue. I was shown the damage by Tesla and given the headlight to take to ALM. I visited ALM and talked to *********************************** about the issue in December and he said he would talk to his manager and try to get a refund paid to me. He agreed to pay 1/2 the cost of the Tesla repair. I have the email. Since him agreeing to pay 1/2, he has not responded or sent payment.

I was interested in a 2020 *** M5 for sale at ALM aka Atlanta Luxury Motors dealership and put a $5000.00 deposit down $3000 wire transfer, 2k on Credit Card on the car to hold the car while we negotiated a deal. During the deal, I became unhappy with some of the terms like a high interest rate and return policy which was "exchange only" and a lower trade in value than expected. I found another M5 at a *** dealership who gave me better terms on trade in value and much lower interest rate plus better return policy and asked ALM dealership for a refund on February 22nd via email and text with **** a very professional sales representative there. He texted me that "Finance has been alterted" as to my request for refund. I got no answer from dealership and left several messages to the ******************* and other sales persons, over the next 5-7 days and received no return call leaving me frustrated that I wasn't going to get my refund back. I am now filing this complaint in order to get the issue resolved. I watched the M5 from ALM and noticed the car was never taken down from Auto Trader and other internet sales so I believe they suffered no loss. I only request my refund of $5000 back as a resolution to this matter. Otherwise they have been very professional.

I bought a vehicle from ALM and financed it with one of their banks and then a few months later traded it with for a new one. They sold me a platinum warranty and I contacted Santander (the bank that they originally financed me with) and they told me that I would have to get the proceeds from ALM. I have been trying for YEARS to get the money from them and given the runaround. I don't understand how you keep money for something that you couldn't provide. I traded the car shortly after purchasing it. They charged me well over $2000 for a warranty and don't want to refund you the money because they included that money in the deal. I WANT MY REFUND!!!

Purchased a car on in January of 2022 and temporary tags were due to expire on 03/01/2022. Tried calling the ALM Roswell location numerous times to inquire about the status. Each time they keep saying that they would check with the corporate office to see what the delay was on get back to me. I never received a response and now my phone calls to ALM of Roswell are being ignored. I tried leaving a message with the corporate office, but no one has returned my calls.

I am rejecting this response because:  The issue with our registration has not been resolved.  Our temporary tags have expired, leaving us unable to drive the car. We are still unable to register our purchased car because ALM has not sent over required paperwork to the DMV.

I visited ALM in Roswell on November 10th 2021 Yes to look at cars to purchase. I trusted the dealership and saw a 2018 *** 640 GT and they worked the deal out for me. However I recently saw the advertised price on their web site matching the *** of the vehicle was $41940 but they charged me selling price $43990 for the car. I went back to the dealership and spoke with **** and ***** the finance managers and they said that the price they sold was the listed price and did not even looked at the screenshot proof that I had for the price online. They provided no solution.

      Business response

      12/08/2021

ALM Roswell had the wholesale list price of $43,990. We were very transparent about the sales price and fees associated. The terms of the sale were negotiated at the time of purchase for this customer and we agreed to the deal. After the sale the customer googled the *** number and found a old listing for the particular vehicle he purchased. When he returned it was explained that the list price was $43,990 and we could not refund him. We did no wrong doing here and our mission is to always take care of the customer.

We purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Atlanta Luxury Motors in Roswell on May 19, 2021. Although we traded in a vehicle that day and paid the cost difference in full (in other words, we own the vehicle outright), we have yet to receive the vehicle title. This unacceptable situation remains even after multiple phone calls and emails to various personnel at the dealership and its corporate office. We have left voice mails, been disconnected, and heard repeated promises that the issue would be resolved. The temporary tag issued the day we purchased the car is long expired. As a result, the car sits in our garage because we are unable to (legally) drive it. We have worked through the BMV here in Pickens County and, helpful as they always are, they have reached the limits of the assistance they are able to provide. We have also contacted the Georgia Department of Revenue to report ALM's terrible business practice.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/25) */ Title has been processed and will be mailed by the state. The tag can be picked up at the local DMV immediately we apologize for the delay Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/08/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Within 24 hours of filing my complaint with BBB, writing a very negative Google review, contacting the Georgia Department of Revenue, the Georgia Independent Dealers Association, and having our county tag office contact Atlanta Luxury Motors directly to inquire about the missing vehicle title...Lo and Behold!! After 3 months, the dealership finally filed the proper paperwork with the state of Georgia! I was actually able to pick up my license plate yesterday! We'll now wait for Georgia to process the title. While I'm grateful that this issue is finally resolved, it is a shame that it became necessary to "bring out the heavy artillery".
