In April 2024 BBB investigated Turner Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning business practices. This investigation was prompted by consumer inquires and Local News reports.
Specifically, consumers allege difficulty in reaching the company and services not being performed after paying a down payment or full payment. In good faith, consumers contacted Turner Brothers Heating & Air to take care of some routine HVAC maintenance. In which consumers thought was a known company with a good reputation in the community. What consumers didn’t know was that the company was sold to a new owner, and the Turner brothers were no longer running it. Consumers Pay thousands of dollars for a HVAC system to be installed and Turner Brothers Heating & Air does not show up. In April 2024 a consumer reported to the BBB "I hired Turner Brothers Heating and Air to install an HVAC system in my house so I could put it on the market and paid a down payment of $3150 almost two months ago. After they missed three appointments I called to get a refund. It has now been 5 weeks since I first requested a refund, and the company or owner will no longer answer my phone calls or call me back." Another consumer reported " I paid nearly $7,000 for a new AC carrier and never got it."
