We received A Advanced Chimney Services on January 26 for a free estimate.I agree to pay in advance the amount of $1,200 but I was charges $1,248.Advanced Chimney Services commited to provided me with the following:Two service visits, the first one to apply a temporary seal that would prevent the water from coming in.The second visit to fix the Chimney, including the removal of stones and the exposure of the frame for replacement of part of the wood, the filling up the cracks between the rest of the stones, the top Crown base remake, and the installation of a counter flashing.A Advance Chimney Service only come the next day and stayed for around 30 minutes apply the temporary seal but never returned for the second visit as verbally agreed. Instead *************************, the owner called me on Feb 04 asking me for extra money in the amount of $2,500 in order to fix the Chimney.************************* failed on emailing the estimate and the **** years *************** upon advanced payment of $1,200 as promised over the phone.************************* said that the $1,246 charged on my Bank Account was only for the temporary seal.Inspections done on 2/11/2023 shown that only a temporary seal was applied on Crown and around the Chimney, clearly not worth of $1,248.SQ *A ADVANCED ***************** ************ GA -$1,248.00 I had a professional inspector come today 2/11/2023 to inspect the Chimney and we found out that nothing more than a band-aid temporary seal was applied around and at the top clearly and undisputed not worth of $1,248.
