This company is awful. They say they want to talk to me about a personal financial matter but they need to qualify me first by asking for my social, correct phone #, email and correct address. No one should give that information out over the phone, they should know that. Especially since they say they are so "concerned" about security. Anyway, since they seemed to already know so much about me, I asked them to just send a letter regrding whatever matter they wanted to discuss and she refused...lol. ******* they are obviously a scamming company. I know I have all of my financial affairs in order so there is no need for any "collection" agency to be calling me.

I repaid all my loans in full more than 10 years ago. Within the last month, this company is contacting me saying I owe on a old student load. My Fafsa says I am paid in full. My credit score report says I am paid in full. I even called the loan company, they say I am paid in full. Yet this Financial Asset Management Systems calls me daily, and insists on asking me for confidential data stating that I owe on a loan. It is my belief that this is a scammer. I have removed/blocked every call that comes across my phone, and yet they call me on a new number daily. Last time, after refusing to provide my date of birth, I asked them to tell me more about the inquiry because they always lead with this script. "Hello, this call may be monitored or recorded, I am looking for ***, I have a matter that has come across my desk. May I have your date of birth." They don't tell you the company. They don't say who is calling. In fact, it is always suspiciously generic info. After refusing to provide that info, they tell me they can't tell me more, but I did finally ask for more information about the matter before I would provide my DOB, and they said they were with Financial Asset Management Systems. They have clearly bought old financial data and are attempting to extort me and others for money, fearing an impact on our credit scores. This is clearly a scam company that operates under the visage of some menial service company. I request that they stop calling me, but I hesitate to provide them with a shred of information other than my phone number. I have no outstanding debts.

I received a notice from this company stating that I had an account from Dekalb County solutions from **** ( statute of limitations)Sorry, I DO NOT! This seems like a scam. I'll show my attorney and let him decide what I should do. Until then...I'm not giving anyone any money for this.

In the boat with many. **** ******* sent me correspondence that I owed money for an accident that neither I or my **** ******* had been contacted. No damage on my car so I have no idea what this is for. I have told both my insurance ******* and FAM if they could provide proof that this accident actually occurred I would entertain my insurance ******* to pay the claim. Everything regarding this situation has been nothing but here say and accusation. My attorney has advised sending a letter demanding evidence and so I will. Why would I believe an incident that I don't think happened and a collection agency that is questionable? ***************** was a good investment on their part.

They dont identify their company when they call OR when you call back, which is pretty well indicative of scammer behavior. I do not owe a debt with FAMS, told them so several times, when I talk to a person they say, Well you confirmed that this is your number, as if thats some sort of gotcha. I still dont owe FAMS anything! And no, I will not be providing my number here, Im already on the NATIONAL Do Not Call list. That should suffice. Maybe Ill take up one of those class action lawsuit offers I saw when looking up this number. Hmmm.

Why are you sending me letters from a loan that has fallen off due to ITT school closure? i was granted loan forgiveness and now your trying to scam me because your company bought the old loan? according to my FASA I do not owe anything. if you do not cease and desist, I will *** your company.

FAMS is not a debt buyer and did not purchase any student loans you have referenced. You have been notified of loans that have not been forgiven or expunged. The loans in question are private loans not federal and loan forgiveness is not applicable. We have forwarded you copies of the loan documents for your review.
