On or about 1/31/2024, the Waialae *********************************************** company came to the apartment (#***), made an assessment of what repairs were necessary to repair a bathtub faucet leak & a toilet, and the negotiated contract price for repairs was for $853.82.On 2/2/2024, the Waialae *********************************************** company came back to the apartment (#***), and stated that repairs to the bathtub faucet leak could not be done, and only the toilet could be repaired for $375+tax.The price to repair the bathtub faucet leak, would now cost $1,534.03. The Waialae *********************************************** company stated that a discounted price of $1,489.03 would be considered, upon acceptance.The water for the apartment complex had to be shut down, for the inconvenience of the other apartment ****************** bait & switch price is highly suspected.

We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered. Our team initially visited the property and provided an estimate for the replacement of the toilet angle valve and shower faucet balancing spool. We advised the owner that replacing the balancing spool might not fully resolve the issue and that further assessment would be needed to determine if the shower valve replacement was necessary. Upon closer inspection, our technician found that replacing the balancing spool was impractical due to the condition of the valve. As a result, we proposed an estimate for valve replacement, which would require a water shut down. We want to assure you that our company prioritizes transparency, and we always seek approval from the customer before proceeding with any work. Please know that we would never give our customers a bait-and-switch price.
