  was overcharged i paid $165 for an ear cleaning for my cat which he did not need, First of all i was told my cat needs boosters they kept texting and emailing me to confirm my appointment i get there they say Well we got his records last week hes already had his boosters So when i called to confirm my appointment they wouldn't tell me that? So i wasted my trip basically coming up here from ********** so i say well his ear was bothering him last week can you take a look in it ? So they do and of course they take a sample of cells and test them and give me a 24$ bottle of ear cleaning solution so i paid 130$ for them to talk in dumb baby voices to my cat and and swap his ear and i was never told the cost of this which is totally unethical

  The amount the owner was charged was not for an ear cleaning.  The charges were for an exam by a DVM, for an ear cytology (a procedure where a swab of the ear material is transferred to a microscope slide, stained, then examined under the microscope by a licensed veterinary technician) to determine if the patient had an ear infection - which he did not - thankfully!  We also performed a complimentary ear cleaning to demonstrate to the owner.  And we sent home a medicated ear cleaner to help with the current issue and for use in the future if the patient develops any more ear issues.  

  We understand the concerns expressed; however, all services paid for were completed so no refunds will be granted.  Owners have the right to decline any service at any time, and if there were any concerns about the services being provided, the owner had the opportunity to decline them at the time of service.  Additionally, if there were any questions regarding costs, we would have been happy to provide that information upon request.
