1 starAs an attorney, I find ARAGs sales tactics deeply concerning. A representative, ****** ******, recently misrepresented herself to my receptionistclaiming to be opposing counselin an apparent attempt to bypass staff and reach me directly, after we had already made it clear we were not interested. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable from any company, let alone one operating in the legal services space.I was previously listed on the ARAG network in 2009. In my experience, the plan offered minimal coverage when clients actually needed help, and did little to support meaningful legal representation.I strongly advise consumers and professionals to be cautious. There are far better ways to access or provide legal services.Review fromHilary N

1 starThis place was AWFUL. They discriminate against physically disabled people. They troll my ******** account even AFTER they let me go over me being physically unable to meet their RTO plan even though when they hired me they were fully aware of it and promised to work w me and not discriminate. Their supervisors eat edibles and get high and drunk all day at the office and they have absolutely no handicap accommodations AT ALL. It's hard concrete and stairs everywhere. I fell and got a bone contusion and they let me go since I was unable to manage the playground landscape they have. This is discriminate it's finest. They should be investigated for their lack of sobriety at work and the blatant discrimination against the physically disabled. It's mental torture thise phones when all the supervision is upstairs getting drunk and high instead of leading. This place is looking for a huge scandal and shut down over multiple violations that need to be investigated. Discrimination and harassment by management that's drunk and high at the office and trolling my ******** during and after I have left the job is ILLEGAL. They have no right to my social media ESPECIALLY NOW THAT IM GONE.Review fromVictoria G

1 starI am a *** holder and got this coverage through my employer benefit program to cover me while driving the company ***. Long story short I got a ticket in my company vehicle on company time and was told they will not cover my legal fees because I was in a company vehicle on company time. Would not recommend getting this coverage if you are a driver looking to stay covered in a company vehicle on company time. Read the exclusions.Review fromKatie B

1 starThe only reason I gave it one star is because youre forced to choose atleast one. An absolute waste of money and time. We paid for this service through my husbands employer. We followed the instructions given us. Recieved a lawyers information for our case. Went to meet with the attorney. Had a consult, filled out paperwork and was told they would be representing us moving forward. After months pass and we cant get a return call or havent heard anything at all. My husband called and left a message stating that he would be filing a compliant. The lawyer called us right back. Where he flat told us he wasnt going to be paid enough to take our case. We paid for this service for an entire year and it was an absolute waste!! My husband wanted to give it another chance to do right. We had another issue arise. My husband contacts Arag and goes through the proper channels to move forward. We are assigned a lawyer. Call them and explain our situation. Only to have them call us back two days later and yet again they wont take our case. So here we are year two and paying for a service that is useless to us!! We are paying for it and now we also have to come up with the funds to hire an outside lawyer. Whats the purpose of this service if no one will do the work? Unless its simply to rob people of their hard earned money and provide nothing in return!! Disgusted and angryReview fromSarah M

5 starsI have had good service from ARAG. When I had a challenging legal issue, ARAG provided me with the names of attorneys in my local area who had the expertise to represent me. I live in a rural area and so the initial list of attorneys did not have time or had a conflict in taking on the case. I was able to get the name of a skilled lawyer who was available. Sometimes you need to work to find the right fit and ARAG did.Review fromJustin H

1 starMy wife purchased ARAG through her work to help us with my mothers estate. The circumstances of her death are unknown as my sister didnt even bother to tell me she was dead for 9 months. Long story short, ARAG keeps recommending lousy attorneys. The attorneys dont call you back. The attorneys lie to you. Then **** takes its sweet time getting you another attorney that wont call you back. They have had my case since October and not one phone call has been made to my mothers attorneys concerning her estate. I hope they will hurry so I can move on with life.Review fromKC P

1 starI purchased ARAG legal insurance expecting professional service. I was disappointed with my first case. As an insured member, you open a case online or by phone, receive confirmation, and are provided a list of "in-network" attorneys with ratings, phone numbers, and email addresses. While ARAG negotiates and pays the legal fee for in-network attorneys, members are responsible for contacting these attorneys directly.I followed ARAGs process by opening a case online. I received a list of attorneys that provided service in the area of law I needed assistance with. I reached out via email to the attorneys with star ratings of 7 or better to share my case details and ask about next steps. Out of all the attorneys I contacted:One stated they no longer work with ARAG.Two were not accepting new clients. The rest did not respond.I contacted ARAG three times to resolve these issues. My interactions with ARAG staff were unprofessional. I was interrupted, talked over, and my concerns were dismissed without resolution. This response raised concerns about ARAG's attorney standards and accountability. If attorneys fail to respond, ARAG provides no guarantee of resolution. I was advised to seek an out-of-network attorney for partial reimbursement, which appears to shift effort and cost to the customer. This plan does little more than provide a directory of attorneysa service you could replicate with a ****** search. I signed up expecting higher standards, valid contact details, and timely service. ARAG has failed to meet these basic expectations.Review fromTina S

I agree with reviewers below and I wish I had saw these prior to wasting so much money on them. Im consistently sent lawyers that dont practice the specific law Ive needed. I had someone tell me this is why they were no longer going to work with this group. They should be dismantled.ARAG

Thank you for reaching out to ARAG! According to our records, you were enrolled in an employer-sponsored plan from 2014 to 2019 and enrolled in a conversion plan in 2019 until you cancelled your plan in November 2024. Throughout this time, you opened 30 cases. Out of these 30 cases, we have paid claims on nearly half.
In 2023 and 2024, we see that you have contacted us nine times to begin cases. Our records show that you did not reach out to us for help finding a network attorney in your area for any of these cases.
If you still want to find a network attorney that handles your specific legal needs in your area, please reach out to ARAG and we can assist you.Review fromdavid m

*********. No response from customer care. No response from attorneys associated with arag that the web site says would work. They have specified provided lawyers in other states but there seems to be no lawyers in ******** to do simple tasks such as will or trust. The only things they have been able to do is collect membership fees. Do not join.ARAG

Hello, thank you for reaching out. We appreciate you being a plan member and want to ensure you get the legal help you need. We see that in September and October, you opened four cases to complete estate planning documents. In early November, we sent case confirmations to you and the attorney you are working with. Our team has recently followed up with your network attorney and she said that she is currently working with you to get your estate plan completed.
