      Waste of money, I attempted to use this company several times and they never helped with any advice I asked for.I had this benefit through my work. The final time I attempted to use this service was when my company was doing layoffs. I called ARAG to ask for advice before I was laid off. ARAG responded, Since this benefit is through your employer, you cannot use this insurance against your *********** was a complete waste of money paying for this service. After I was laid off and lost my benefits, ARAG had the audacity to send me a notice to not let my legal benefits lapse and wanted me to keep my policy active. Even though they never helped me with any legal matters, they still wanted my money. To say that I am disgusted with ARAG is an understatement.

      ***** ******* ***** is an excellent WILL attorney and she was extremely helpful and guided us thru the whole process. We highly recommend her services to anybody looking to make a WILL or anything regarding this area.

      Arag sent me around and around trying to figure out whether or not my case was covered under legal insurance. I spoke with an attorney so they could assist in figuring out whether or not it was covered, the attorney was clear it should be. When sent over to a manager they said even though the lawyer does not agree she makes the decision and she decided they were not going to cover it. So much for having legal insurance that won't insure.

      This is a farce of an insurance, every single case I've submitted has resulted in no help at all. Do not waste your money... I started in 2022 when they had no money, they sold the idea to big companies like Intuit for their employees during annual enrollment to lock in for a full year-no way to cancel. Once that year was up, they changed the way they assign & help, beginning with sending you a list of attorneys that either won't help, or don't cover that particular issue. I've had attorney's blatantly tell me "There is not enough money in it for me" when I spoke to them on the phone, so of course there is no way to prove this because none of them will respond electronically. When my son passed away 2 years ago, not once did any of their services help with anything I needed done. I am filing a complaint with my employer "Intuit" to have this option removed from our annual enrollment due to the scam they are running. Not even one star

Regarding the cases you opened after your son passed away, our records show that you were able to receive assistance from a telephone network attorney for several legal matters and you also completed some work in-office with a network attorney.       Well they removed my comment on the way I have been treated and the lack of help receiving with my monthly payments. You can't speak out unless it's something positive your saying. Someone online requested feedback on their experience with ARAG Legal. We are loosing our freedom more every day/!!!

      I purchased through Turbo Tax. My subscription was coming to an end and I tried to use it but their site was down and not working. I contacted customer service asap and a week later I heard back and they said too bad theres nothing we can do despite their site was down and not working when I attempted. They are dishonest and a joke. No customer service to speak of. They are crooks and will keep your money and not provide any service.

      Its an waste of money. I had this benefit through my employer and it seemed like a GREAT benefit at first. Who DOESNT need a "on call" lawyer right? The ARAG benefits brochure tells you all the befits they offer. However, trying to get a lawyer to ACTUALLY take your case is a WHOLE OTHER ISSUE. I have TWO different cases I tried to get ARAG to help with with and ARAG struggled to get me legal help with. The first one they could not help with at all because a legal process had already started and and the 2nd was a legal guardianship case and had take over a year at it had multiple requirements that ended up having to be a hearing and file paperwork and more than just a letter or simple filing. It sems that any legal matter that a lawyer has to ACTUALLY argue a case or do REAL LAWYER work, ARAG is NOT the legal organization you want. So if youre paying a monthly fee for any extended period of time thinking I'll need a good legal service some time...this is NOT IT. Your better off saving your money and researching and just hiring the best lawyer for whatever service you need. DO NOT prepay for this service. Its just not worth it. Youve been warned. I do not like writing negative reviews, but this happened twice with me. Im glad I was finally able to discontinue my membership to that prepaid plan.

      Hello, thank you for reaching out. Our records show that you have been a member since 2019. Since then, you had one case in 2019 that was denied as your plan did not cover it. Later in 2019, another case was denied as it was a pre-existing matter, and your plan did not cover that. In 2021, we see that you started a case and began working with a network attorney. We dont see any notes on your case with concerns over finding a network attorney to handle this case. You noted that this case has taken a long time to resolve we recognize how frustrating it can be awaiting results and decisions. Unfortunately, ARAG has no control over the judicial process and each state has its own set of laws covering your legal matter, so the requirements for a resolution to your legal matter can vary from state to state. If this case is ongoing and you still have concerns about anything, dont hesitate to reach out to us.

      Arag was offered as an employee benefit and I enrolled to obtain some basic estate planning. I searched the list of attorneys provided on Arag's website. I selected ***************************, I sent an email asking for a consultative appt, but I didn't receive a response. I called and left a message with her answering service (a person). Her assistant returned my call and scheduled a 5 pm appt for 2/28/24. I never received a confirmation text or email, which I thought was odd. At 5:15 pm on 2/28/24, I called to find out if I was supposed to call her at 5 pm. I got her voicemail so I left a message asking about our scheduled appointment. She called me back at 6:15 pm ********** asking if this was a good time. My husband was not available at 6:15 pm but he was at 5 pm and wanted to attend the meeting. So, we rescheduled for today, 3/6 at 4 pm. She didn't bother to call. She told me on 2/28 that she would call us. Now, I'm stuck paying for Arag until open enrollment.

In May 2023 we did experience a slight delay in responding to you with information about network attorneys in your area we apologize for that. We see that you reached out to us in December 2023 and February 2024 regarding coverage for two separate legal matters. We were unable to provide coverage as those types of legal matters are excluded under your legal plan. As you are enrolled in your employer-sponsored legal plan, your employer, not ARAG, determines the coverages offered under your legal plan and they also determine who are eligible dependents that *** be covered under your plan.
