I mailed check number 591 in the amount of $876.61, along with a copy of my recent mortgage statement, to Wells Fargo at ******************************************************* on October 29 for my November mortgage payment. Wells Fargo cashed the check on November 1 but failed to post the payment to my mortgage account. I called the mortgage ***** who could not help me, then called the banking division of my checking account, also Wells Fargo, and they could not help me. I then got a call from the Wells Fargo research ***** who also could not help me. I have exhausted all avenues with Wells Fargo in trying to determine why my check was cashed but not credited to my mortgage account and nobody at Wells Fargo seems to have a clue.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Check #*** dated 10/29/21 is the payment that is lost, not check #***. Wells Fargo cannot find check #*** even though it was cashed and my mortgage account number was clearly written on the check and I also attached a copy of my mortgage statement. I am attaching a copy of the check.
