The agents are nice and all but I can't get any work done. My over the range microwave stopped working. Called to make a claim and they couldn't suggest someone so I was told to find someone. I was also told to call the number while the tech was at my house so they could talk to them. Long story short anyone that would come to my house would not take their warranty and I ended up cancelling the claim because it's cheaper to replace then to get it repaired, out of pocket. I'm still without a working unit and feel this policy is useless to me. What a waste of money and time.

I called Home Warranty of the Midwest relating to my garage door. The customer service *** recommended an area company to come out and evaluate the issue. When I explained that the issue was actually a safety concern, the company's tech came out almost immediately. The company put me in touch with was excellent. My fiance and I are first time home buyers which honestly can be really scary at times when we are so new and dont know the first thing about anything in the house! Home Warranty of the Midwest has been such an amazing choice for us. We were specifically looking for a home warranty that would cover an ADU apartment in the house with a second kitchen and second laundry and this has been the perfect fit. So far I have made 2 claims, one on a dryer that stopped heating and the second on my water heater that burst this morning! They have been there when we needed them and helped us through the step by step process. The *** is good at his job. Other then that the warranty kinda *****. Let's just say when the major part is discontinued in furnace and you have to get a new one. And they turn you furnace off. Not fun. And they I only gave you the amount of the part $$$ towards the new furnace $4700. Gave $1000. True warranty they cover 100% or least half..Home Warranty of the Midwest, Inc

I have been with Home Warranty of the Midwest for years and recently had routine HVAC maintenance. The technician found a heating element kit to be faulty. They provided me with an estimate with details, called Home Warranty, sent in invoice of what was found, they approved and the technician scheduled to have the problem corrected. Fast and easy method of submission and processing. I highly recommend, especially if you don't want the hassle and runaround with contractors you are forced to use and who never call you back.Home Warranty of the Midwest, Inc
