    Pattern of Complaint:

On April 9, 2021, Better Business Bureau was alerted to a change of address business operating Postal Address Change, Change Postal Address, and United Address Change, https://www.unitedaddressform.org/.  Consumers seeking change of address services from the U.S. Postal Service  report conducting an online search for the United States Postal Service website only to be directed to the website for Postal Address Change. Consumers report the website is similar to the U.S. Postal Service website and they are unknowingly charged $79.95 for a service the U.S. Postal Service provides for $1.05.  Consumers allege the business is unresponsive to requests for assistance regarding refunds and cancellations. Postal Address Change advertises an address in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho 83814.

The Idaho Secretary of State reports Postal Address Change, Change Postal Address, and United Address Change are not licensed businesses in Idaho.

On May 7, 2021, BBB reached out to Postal Address Change regarding the consumer complaints, but to date has not received a response; mail sent to the business address was returned by the U.S. Postal Service as undeliverable.

Consumers wishing to utilize services provided by the United States Postal Service can find their website at https://www.usps.com/.

Better Business Bureau warns consumers when shopping online, verify business information by researching the address, licensing information, telephone number, and to read Terms and Conditions. Postal Address Change has a disclaimer in Terms and Conditions stating they are not affiliated with any government agency.

Complaints can be filed with Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org as well as with the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Protection at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/.

On 2/14/2024 at 10 pm I submitted a change of address form on what I believed to be the USPS website. Even looking at the page now, it looks very legitimate. However, instead of being charged $1-2 for an address change in the past, I was charged $179.95. The charge is listed on my bank statement as "US-CHANGEOFMAIL". Nowhere on the site or anywhere before I submitted the form was I told there would be a $179.95 charge to my account. After looking over the BBB page, I see that I, like many others, have been scammed by this site.

was looking to do a mail forwarding service and this site charged me $179.95 when USPS charges $1.05 for this service. THIS SITE WAS CLEARLY DESIGNED TO SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY. They do not have any customer support, their contact information is not listed. There is no virtual assistant as stated on their site. No one responds to my inquiry about my transaction. I understand there might be loop holes, but NO WHERE ON THEIR SITE DO THEY STATE HOW MUCH THEIR FEE IS FOR SERVICE, TOTAL SCAM. This has to be a violation, I looked everywhere on their site to see if they snuck it in somewhere, nope. Ridiculous,

On 12/04/2023 for the second time I was trying to do an address change. I am aware of a charge of a 1.10 for this service. I believed I was on a USPS website even the numbers on the website lead you to the actual Postal service. But whoever I paid isn't apart if the usps at all so now $179.00 IS GONE FROM MY ACCOUNT. I received an email from the post office (I believe) that said they needed me to go to the post office with my ID to complete the change of address. So this service charged me $179.00 and could not even change my address. How is this possible???How can they charge $179.00 for something that cost $1.10 first of all and second of all how is it legal to completely resemble the USPS in a way that so many people believe that they are on the legit USPS website? I am just about fed up with being tricked by fake services that trick me into something i believe to be a service i have to have. Then I tried to request a refund and save my funds from being taken and i cant even find anything that resembles a name besides the reference to USPS COA. to top it all off in the email i received this was in the bottom section. . I was trying to change my address online and thought I had the postal service and apparently it was a scam website. It was movemyaddressnow.com I get notifications when debits are made toy account and I immediately get a notification that there was a 179.85 charge from Forward of Postal Mail Danville WY US on my account. I tried stopping the charge to my debit card but had to stop my card. Now have to dispute the charge on my card. I've tried finding a customer service number for this place with absolutely no luck. The account number from the email they sent me is 6765JJFzFJJB. I replied to the email demanding someone contact me with absolutely no luck. I looked online and have saw where others are complaining of the same thing happening to them with these scammers.
