Last December 14, 2023 I received an e-mail from ***************************** (Analista del ************ de Politicas) because my credit card declined a charge. I replied on January 29 telling her that I have been trying to call the ***** phone number that I found in your webpage but that number does not correspond to Melaleuca. I didn't want to have a "conversation" by e-mail I just wanted to solve the issue by phone. As I didn't receive answer I resend my e-mail on February 6, and I didn't receive an answer either. Last June 28th finally I called again to a phone number I found in a "marketing e-mail" I received on feb 27 that says "we miss you". In that e-mail there was a local phone number for Mexico and that's how I could call. **************** attended my call but didn't solve the issue as they said only ***************************** can do it. I told them that I have sent ***** 2 e-mails without answer. They replied that they needed to ask ***** if this was true and she was the ony person that can help.Same day i sent again an e-mail to ***** telling her I have called and customer service was not able to help, that if she was willing to help or not. I didn't receive and answer. On july 8th I sent her another e-mail asking if she will reply or not and didn't receive an answer.Is only 1 person able to solve my issue?. I have never refused to pay the charge declined by my credit card. I have been suspended for months from my Melaleuca account.During the years I bought your products I never suspended my account and bought each month.Why your customer service is so bad? why ony one persona can decide to suspend my account and did not reply to my e-mails?Business Response

I asked this company to cancel my order, they said it was already sent out (lie) so I received my purchase and then returned the unopened box, two employees assured me that I would not be charged nothing else, they promised to refund the two $10 late fees once box was received (they now refuse to refund me) instead they've now over drafted my bank account and took out $20.48 for some bogus shipping fee, are now saying I owe $10, this is so not ok, I have almost $40 in loyalty dollars and I want that back too, they're liars/ scammers, they have been very rude, I would like the call recordings of them telling me I would not be charged again, I canceled my account with them, I'm giving my lawyer all these screen shots since they stole from my bank and keep tacking on extra charges, all I want is my money back, this is so unfair and not right, I was with this company for 6 years, I canceled because I couldn't afford it anymore, they've caused me so much stress over all this..... please help make this right because they sure won't! Date of transaction 3/2 Date charged 3/4 Duplicate charge - received goods once, charged twice.When I reached out to melaleuca they told me to work with the credit card company because they could only see one charge. My cc company could see two charges and so we filed to cancel one. Meanwhile melaleuca also cancelled it but then they put my account on hold until I paid it again. This is fair because I owed them for one purchase - but they started treating me like I was the problem. When the bank saw melaleuca reversed the payment they also recharged me to make sure melaleuca received one payment - they didnt see melaleuca already recharged me. I was back to being stuck with two charges for something I bought and received once.Given paths between the bank and melaleuca were being crossed I asked mela if they could just fix the issue. They continued to tell me they only see one charge - its not their problem. It is clear to me and the bank - that two charges for $102.30 were made to them. they shut me down, wouldnt escalate me or do anything to help me. I became emotional because they had no concern they took my money twice. I got heated on the call which Im not proud of and apologize to the person I was talking to - she was turning it on me and giving me so much tone but didnt deserve my emotions and words. In ********************************************************************************************** the last 2 months to know - when an issue arises they dont care about the customer, they dont care to help them or escalate an issue. My bank and I can both see they took my money twice but they dont have a good system of record to figure it out and instead they put it back on **** am working with the bank again. But mela should do better - At least allow a customer to escalate. They do not deserve an A+ rating - people should know in bad times they dont care. In november of 2023, I called Melaleuca With an issue that I had that was very concerning. My daughter *************************** referred me to Melaleuca. She was supposed to be getting commissioned from my purchases every month. When I signed up for *********.I got a phone call from someone named *****************************. I don't know her. I thought it was a malaluca agent who was signing me up. I asked ******* if she was going to get Commission for signing me up. She told me no. I told her my daughter referred me ***************************, She reassured me.There was no commission and that they don't get anything for assigning me up. That was false. I would never have signed up for Melaleuca ************************* knowing my daughter would get credit for it Because she is the one who referred me. I talked to a few service agents and so did my daughter about resolving this issue.It is still not resolved in and spoke to Xavier ***** May 10, 2024 to cancel my account. I explained to him what happened.He got in touch with the business center.The business center told him that I would have to cancel my account for 6 months, Once the six months is over , ******* would no longer get commissioned from my monthly purchases. I told him I want to still get the products.He told me that I could still get the products.I just would no longer get any discounts off of the products if I canceled for 6 months. I was lied to by *******. ******** never even attempted to resolve the problem.This is awful customer service. There is no other way around it.****** told me. It is not fair to me, nor is it fair to my daughter.That some stranger is getting commissioned off of me when I told her my daughter referred me to Melaleuca. For the past year I have been harassed by *************************** to buy these products. I finally gave in after this entire book of goods she sold me of guaranteed weight loss and a 100% satisfaction guarantee or my money back if I was not satisfied with the products. Needless to say I am not satisfied with any of the products and was told they are *** approved which was a lie. When I called last week to get my money back the women I spoke to told me there is no money back guarantee that they do not stand behind their products. I told her I had gained weight using the R3 Starter Pack and she said their products are run by a ************** and that they are just the seller. After being transferred to three different departments and speaking to three different supervisors I was told they would not give me my money back and I had to go back to the women who I purchased them from and the ** group. I asked her flat if they were *** approved and she said "I think, I am not sure but I think all of our products are." How do they not even know?!?!?! When I reached back out to ****** she was nasty and accused me of trying to bad mouth Melaleuca because I had signed on to be a jewelry consultant. Something I was in talks about well before I even thought about purchasing these items. She grilled me about every item I put in my mouth and then chastised me for weighing myself before I was done using the products. I immediately filed a fraud complaint with my credit card company and they said they need to give them 15 days to make it right before they will take action and to call them back on 4/16. I called Melaleuca again today 4/8 to give them one more opportunity to do right and I was told they need to research and gave me the run around. Other people need to be warned to stay away from this organization and their sellers. They are fraud. They want to get you to buy into this pyramid scheme using any tactics necessary to scam you.Business Response

I placed an order March 2nd. The order was processed and thw money was taken out of my account. I'm suppose to place a monthly order but since I was still waiting for my precious package, I did not make another order. They said they canceled my first order that I picked out individual products I needed in, gave me a "credit" and then sent out a "back up" order. I placed my monthly order back in February. A few days later i noticed a second charge on a different credit card for what they call as a back up order because according to their customer service department the order should have been placed by noon on last day of the month! I told them multiple times within three separate conversations to cancel that back-up order, they insisted that they can't cancel a back up order, that they would send me a *** return lable to return the product. I canceled my Membership with Melaleuca on March 4th, I received the back up order on March 15th, within three day i sent the back-up order back to them. I noticed today on another credit card (this card was never saved on their website) statement that they charged me for the back-up order. They went through months and months of my orders till they found a card that they could charge for my back-up order. When i called customer service today they stated that they could not refund me that they had not received my back-up order back. I explained to them that it's not okay to just charge a card without permission, but they seem to think they can. This issue was not resolved, i was told to call back another time to see if they received the return package, they can't refund me till they receive a package i mailed back almost two weeks ago. I will never deal with this company ever again!! Customer Service are like little gremilns who tell you fantasy stories to get you off the phone. I just want my money back for a product i never ordered and never wanted in the first place.Business Response

During the Covid pandemic I was looking for a place to get hand sanitizer. A friend of mine was involved in Melaluca had it and shipped it no problem. What was not clear was I was signing up for an auto ship program.Over a year ago I wanted to cancel and searched the companys site to find any way to cancel. They dont make it easy to find. With a customer service email not replying for 24 hours, I called the company to have the order placed on hold (fresh raw goods) as I would be on vacation out of the Country and needed to have it scheduled for when I was back home. The customer service folks are smiling assassins and one told me that the order was going out Monday, so I didn't see why he couldn't postpone it and after my request to cancel it was denied, I requested a manager. The manager told me that the order was actually going out today and couldn't be rescheduled or cancelled. The bottom line- this company is HIGHLY UNETHICAL, chaotic, confusing and they're not willing to postpone a delivery of a customer for 6 or 7 days, to keep a customer to spend money monthly and grow a downline, so I reported the incident to *********** and have cancelled my card with a new one on the way and when the payment 'posts', I am disputing the charge.
