In late August our upstairs shower leaked and damaged the ceiling in our downstairs living room. We called All Hours cleaning and Restoration they gave us a bid and requested up front payment before they started work. We gave them $12,000. They demolished the bathroom and disappeared. After repeated calls and them promising to get back to us they said we would have tile installed on October 6th. Nobody came on that date or the subsequent 4 dates we were given for tile installation. Finally I called asking for our money back and was able to talk to the owner. He promised me he would work on it and make it right. 6 months from the flood we have tile down and not much else. All hours was told the shower floor needed to be reinforced several times by two different tile contractors. The day the tile installer showed up the floor still needed to be braced. My retiree father had to come and brace the floor so the tiler could continue. Weve been without a bathroom for 6 months. Today he informed us hes not installing the shower surround without another $3000. He has repeatedly told me using the previous shower surround wont work due to new measurements and a new one will be installed. Today he said hes not installing a new shower surround without $3000. But will use the old one he has repeatedly said wont work. The bathroom is unpainted and has deep digs/rips in the drywall from improper demolition. The paint they did put on the trim is peeling off in sheets the size of my hand. The owner said he would send someone to fix it but that was a month ago. None of the plumbing **************** have been installed) the owner said that would be fixed a month ago. I truly believe he has no intentions of finishing this project.
