EGT was competitive in the selection process (3 candidates), has communicated well and was able to get the organization and permitting process done in less time than may have been anticipated. The installation was done quickly by people who were friendly and did their jobs quickly. I am up and running and time will need to elapse before a determination can be made on how the anticipated production and actual production will play out. we just recently completed our solar installation. we choose egt solar as our installer. from the very beginning rob and the entire team were magnificent! they know how to step you through the process.. there communications throughout was fantastic.. i would recommend egt solar to anyone how would be interested to go solar.. *************************Review from Greg H

Pros: *** design of the solar system to accomplish my desires were readily achieved; e.g., Enphase AC coupled microinverter system with battery backup. *********** has power limitations for AC coupled systems and EGT Solar maximized the design accordingly. As I had done extensive research before hand, and contacted many other solar companies which tried to steer me into a different system and/or were more expensive, EGT Solar designers patiently worked with me to meet my goals within the power company limitations.Installation team members were courteous, thorough and expedient. All hardware components were installed in 3 days. Subsequent programming of the firmware took longer but was not the fault of EGT Solar as the amount of firmware required to be installed was extensive.*** office manager/controller was proactive, very helpful, and quickly responded to any questions or items that needed to be coordinated for completion.Cons: Not because of EGT Solar, the time delays for the State electrical inspection, and power company inspection took almost a month after the installation was completed before the system could be activated.*** results in the second month after the system was activated has been trouble free and the performance is exceptional. I believe EGT Solar is a reputable firm to trust.
