Oh my goodness we LOVE this family ran business! So much to say but I'll try n be brief. They have so many things to try for a small stand. ******* loves the hand salve, dad loves all the meats, one of my favorites is the hand soap (perfect size for my little hands) and lasts so long, and of course everyone's favorite split pea soup mix (shhhh its my whole families favorite and they think I've spent hours on it). Makers Long Acres has been our source for virtually all of our pork and most of our beef for two years now. I love the meat we get and doing business with them. It starts with the meat we know how its raised, how its bred and why the specific breeds. All that attention results in absolutely great tasting pork. This family offers two ways to get meat customers can pick at two convenient locations or we can pick it up at their farm. The meet up locations work out great as we can schedule a time within their window when they are there. Weve had half hogs and frequent their farm stand to get individual meats to stock our freezer. Their farm stand is an awesome way to fill in gaps in our freezer and pick up some of their amazing farm-fresh jams. This is a family run business, and they do an awesome job of communicating, raising animals, getting customers the custom cuts, opening their honor-based farm stand, providing convenient pick-up options, and now offering classes to share their knowledge.Review from Kathy B

I have had several visits and conversations with the folks at Makers along Acres in *********. I love about two hours North and the time it takes to get my products is worth every minute of the beautiful drive I have purchased two 1/2 hogs and never been disappointed!The care they take for their animals is amazing and their sense of family is something many people could learn from!I highly recommend doing business with Makers **** AcresReview from Scott G

Ordered a half of pig in October and was promised delivery in January or February it now July 7th and I am still waiting for delivery. I asked for my money back and was refused. This company is a joke
