Back in mid March I called customer service inquiring about what a quote would be for 2024 Kia Sportage. The female rep told me that the quote would be $242 however I currently drive 2021 kia K5 and my monthly policy was $223. The rep ensured me over the phone that my policy wouldn't change at all and everything would stay the same since I asked for a quote & not a hard change. However 3 weeks later, I received a declaration page for a new Kia 2024 Sportage. So I proceed to email my agency in Richardson, Tx ( Dale Johnson) to assist. I met a rep by the name of Rico who understood my discrepancy & put a request to change my vehicle go back to the correct vehicle on my policy. Mind you this is March 24th and he mentioned this would be changed around April 7-April 18th (my due date). April 18th comes around and no one has reached out to provide me an update so I called to the Richardson agency where I spoke to Lauren. She mentioned that now it's showing that the updated change to my policy will occur May 6-10 but to keep my account current to pay the Kia K5 policy amount of $223 and everything should be back to normal buy next pay period. Its May 1st, and no one has yet to provide any update. I call in again to the Richardson agency & speak to the manager Rhondalyn who provides the standard company we apologize formality. I ask to speak to Dale Johnson, owner of the agency for that following Monday. May 6th Monday Morning Dale calls me & we speak for over 30 minutes for the discrepancy I was dealing with. He explained his concerns and apologized for everything I was going through and gave me his word that his manager Rhondalyn would give me call by May 17th ( today which nobody has to provide me an update on my new quote for my kia vehicle & any back payments I was owed). I now owe $298 for a now renewed policy for a vehicle I still don't have and it's due tomorrow! . I had my policy changed by State Farm without my consent and my local agency can't provide updates!

03-25-2024 Over 35 years with State Farm for Home Insurance I filed a claim with State Farm for a 1/8 inch crack my homes slab, I was assigned a adjuster and was told by her to get a plumbing company out and do a leak test to see if there is a leak, and one was found in the kitchen sink drain line, I have spent $ 2,310.00 to find the leak. After a quote to Tunnel and repair the leak I informed State Farm about what was found and the total for the repairs needed. The first adjuster told me to hire a company for the repairs cause the insurance company would pay for it and I did cause I had extra Dwelling Foundation Endorsement and extra water damage coverage, a few days later another adjuster calls said the first person should not have told me to get a company out to my house all this started 01-23-2024, was told by this yoyo that State Farm does not tunnel they go thru the slab to the leak. I'm still out 2,310.00. Insurance company sent a company out they use for this area and said the leak was the kitchen sink drain line. now a Engineer comes out to see if the water leak caused the slab to crack, and of course he said no, now how could he have come to that conclusion with a tape measure in his hand, I was under a impression with a water leak a Engineer would run soil sample tests to see the density of the soil and see if possible that the foundation did shift, told the engineer the slab crack was over a tension cable informed him what happened one night of a huge boom in the house like something heavy hit the roof, the next morning we found the homes slab had cracked. The so called Engineer asked me if the slab was a tension cable slab, I do not know, he asked for elevations before and after the slab was poured and drawings of the foundation, was under that is his responsibility to obtain. long story short, no State Farm adjuster ever came to the home to see the damage never received my 2,310.00 refunded to me, and State Farm will not cover anything.

After 25 years of an excellent driver with State Farm, I have my house my business, and my three cars insured with these loser company, State Farm I never was late on my payment in 25 years during the pandemic COVID-19. I lost my business and I had to file chapter 7 and hard enough at 63 years old to go through, the terrible experience in bankruptcy and State Farm made it 10 times worse. you find out I did the bankruptcy they increased my premium from $210 $ to $$ 310 absolutely rib off I don’t know how the government allowed them to take advantage of people already need help the just went through bankruptcy so I made it my mission to tell all my friend and all my family, my my story with this losers and 37 of my good friends and my family canceled the policy with the State Farm moved to different company and my mission in life now to try to help old people ground my age to get rid of their policies with the State Farm because they are scammers And no loyalty for any there. customer after 25 years I was being an average 1100 a month for my business by cars by house count how many thousand and 25 years I paid this losers and still took advantage of me

I've had a claim going with state farm and the responses from them are nothing but dodge dodge dodge. The agent I have dealt with has not returned my calls appropriately and has asked for more documentation without being specific of what I would need to send. I sent a P and L in regards to my businesses loss of use and they want documentation but jeff the agent handling the claim would not be specific of what is needed. This is a disgusting way of deflecting and costing me time and more money in a way to try and make me settle for less or to just go away which is not going to happen. I will now have to obtain legal council and pursue this harder.

State Farm has zero loyalty. Spouse and have had State Farm for a total of 46 years. They dropped our homeowners insurance due to three claims within two years. Car theft, water damage on ceiling and house fire. Total payout for all three claims approx 16,500. After dropping us and us getting a new insurance carrier after 46 years , they still went into our account and took a payment. Then proceeded to make us wait for 1.5 weeks to return our money. We were told 100 percent no payment would be coming out. Don’t use this company as they no longer are loyal to their customers

Do not use state farm. They do not care about they vehicles they insure. They would rather neglect any safety issues that a body shop return your car with and tell you its not their problem. Worse insurance ever and they should be shut down!

My concrete foundation has shifted under my house. Normally foundation repair isn’t covered on a homeowners policy but I have an addendum to cover it. State Farm still won’t cover it. I’ve had insurance with them for 54 years, both home and auto and they refuse to pay. They said it’s natural erosion. There is a plumbing leak and the slab and the foundation has shifted almost 8 inches in six months towards that leak. They used to be good. Not anymore.

State Farm is a very bad insurance to have for your home. They will avoid meeting deductibles so they wont send you any support financially. The adjuster sent by State Farm is bias. Dont spend your hard earned dollar on state farm instead look for another insurance for your home or save your moneyin case of an emergency.

We are dealing with a vandalism claim as my husbands car was vandalized while he was working (3 slashed tires and 2 broken windows.) They denied one window because pics didn’t show the damage well and now we find out they are subtracting $60 for replacing the tires because they want us to get used tires. Our tires were brand new and put on in December! Who buys and trusts used tires? Plus it’s AWD and all tires need the same tread. They refuse to send anyone out to look at the damage because they only do it by photos We pay for them to cover us and they’re doing this to damage out of our control (vandalism.) It’s BS. I don’t trust them or like them and refuse to stay with them in case we ever have another claim (this is our first). I’m not doing all their work again to constantly be denied or short changed. We are swapping and I recommend not going with State Farm. They got 1 star because the review doesn’t allow me to give them no stars.
