I am filing my complaint about the bad experience I had with Parking Spot 3 in *********** the night of Sat., Dec 3, 2022, about 10 pm.We (me, my wife, and several other travelers) were waiting for shuttle to Parking Spot 3 for more than 30 minutes at freezing temperature 25F (with wind it fills *****F). During this time, bases from Parking Spot 1 stopped there 5 times, Spot 2 -3 times. But no one was from Paring Spot 3.I called to their dispatcher for 5 or more times. First 3 times she answered that the bus on its way, then she simply stopped answering. Finally, the driver of 5th Parking Spot 1 bus took us aboard and brought initially his customers to Spot1, then us to Spot3 paring saving us. So, what I expecting from them:-saying great thanks to driver of Spot1 - official apologies for Paring Spot3 -complete refunding from Spot3 as a small compensation for me that Ive got cold (and, m.b., they must be happy that I dont request complete compensations for cold related medicines)With best wishes, ***********************************

Paying three times as much as economy parking for the following three visit experiences after signing up and paying for Platinum Membership.1st visit: I was double charged and the team did not complete the car wash. The *** page even has a fix for the double charge so I guess the **************** doesn't have a fix. Also, received no instructions for the car wash and it was performed. A refund was provided for both.2nd visit: Upon returning to the lot, the bus driver drove off with my bags before I could get them all off the bus. I had to walk to the office so that they could call the driver back. Furthermore, the car wash team didn't wash the top of my truck and I found a wax bottle and a used rag to wax the truck inside the cab on my center workstation console. Additionally, I ended up with a large door paint transfer from an adjacent car which had to happen after the wash because it would have buffed out if properly washed and waxed. The manager stated that she personally inspects all cars and must have missed this one.....She apologized and refunded my money for the carwash. She also stated she would give me a points adjustment for a future free car wash. The points adjustment did not occur.3rd Visit. The washing team only washed the driver's side (left side) of my vehicle and only put tire shine on the drivers side tires. The passenger side (right side) of the vehicle, nor was the top washed. Last, a manager was not on site to inspect or refund me for the car wash. I have called the local Parking Spot 3 times since my last visit and the manager is either not there or will not return my calls. Therefore, the Parking Spot is holding my funds, *****, for a job not completed -- and this isn't the first time its happened.

Parked my vehicle at the *** / ********* location for two nights (uncovered rooftop). I was charged $131 for three nights at $39.20 per night. The posted rate was $24.95. The customer service is only via email and takes days to respond. No workers were at the kiosk.

Thank you for parking with us! For the past few years, The Parking Spot has had a dynamic pricing model, similar to airlines and hotels. As our facilities'occupancies change, our drive-up rates go up or down for future dates. These changes are reflected on our digital screens at entry. On 10/19, we approached a sellout for rooftop parking at The Parking Spot *********, so drive-up pricing for rooftop parking increased to $39.25 for entries 10/20-10/22.

Although drive-up rates are dynamic, rates can always be locked in by making a reservation on theparkingspot.com. The earlier guests reserve, the more they save.

I reserved a parking spot online and printed the confirmation information before my trip. I was given a price of $89.85. I parked at the ************ in ****** from 9/16 to 9/23/22. When checking out of the parking lot, the device could not read the code on my printed confirmation. The attendant could not make it work either. He charged me a higher price - $129.16, and told me that I could call on Monday to have it adjusted. I have now made at least seven calls to try to get this fixed. Most of those calls have been unanswered - after several rings the call just ends. For two of the calls, the person was not able to help but told told me someone else would call me back. One call went to my voicemail while I was working, but it gave me this same number that is automated and regardless of which option is selected, it rings several times then disconnects.

I have been traveling for business for the past few months and had been parking my truck at The Parking Spot in *********, **. They promote the business as a secure facility. On my recent return from my business trip, I found that my catalytic converter had been stolen, as well as four other customers. I had noticed on my prior visits the rear entry to the parking area was left open, basically, the gate was not closed and only blocked pylons or orange cones. Upon speaking with the management we viewed footage of where I was parked showing a limited area of the parking area. Note that another customer was parked in the same area that I was parked outside of the camera view. The comments posted here are expressing their customer service which should be not the only objective to this company. They have a legal obligation of the Duty of Care or a legal responsibility for the safety and security of our property and they have breached this duty of care one's vehicle(s) are secure and retrieved in the same condition that they were left. Damage or vandalism is a demonstration of negligence in business conduct that falls beneath the standard of behavior either generally expected in society, or established by law.I was provided the contact information to the **** and had to file it to my insurance.

I was contacted by Sedgwick, the insurance provider, stated that *** does not cover vandalism claims or claims of this nature. She provided the attached supporting documentation. I review the Terms and Conditions' of the *** site and was not able to locate this information. If this information was no0t presented to *** customer then *** should be liable for all repairs and any compensatory damages due to loss of use of the vehicle.

It appears that the guest shared our loyalty's program's Terms and Conditions, as opposed to the Terms and Conditions agreed to when parking, found here: https://www.theparkingspot.com/terms-and-conditions

The insurance company referenced Section 5, Part D.

I am rejecting this response because: This is an incorrect statement. The insurance company referenced under Terms and Conditions (theparkingspot.com) under Section 15. Also, this 'document' that the insurance company is referring to is not available to the customer when accepting the Terms and Agreement. The company not attempting to take responsibility and continue to deflect the serious of the situation.

The documentation that was provided in regard to TPS liability (attached) and the provided website linked information under Terms and Conditions (theparkingspot.com) under Section 15 referenced are completely disparate. The information on the website pertains to ********* Members and does not inclusively or exclusively specify guest services.

The terms referenced are ambiguous and not in clear which would be a violation of deceptive advertising based on the Federal Trade Regulation - Enforcement Policy Statement on Deceptively Formatted Advertisements Section 5 which states ...unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce. The Policy Statement on Deception, a representation, omission, or practice is deceptive if it is likely to mislead consumers acting reasonably under the circumstances and is material to consumers that is, it would likely affect the consumers conduct or decisions with regard to a product or service.

By acceptance of the Terms and Condition is considered a legally enforceable binding contract based on an offer, acceptance and consideration. The implied perception, but not documented, that my vehicle was in a secure facility based on gated entrances and security cameras is a breach of contract therefore TPS should be liable for damages incurred to my vehicle.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************

I parked my truck (Tundra) in December just before Christmas, and cam back mid January. I choose the parking spot because it is gated, and should be secure. Entrance is only limited to employees and passengers like myself. Came back to a roaring truck, only to find out that the catalytic convertors (two pairs) have been stolen. I notified the office immediately, and called the police. I also walked a little around the lot to find another tundra with the CATs stolen too. Employees at the parking spot mentioned that they had no cameras in the lot, nor the fences. For thieves to walk out the lot with several catalytic convertors and pipes, they must have been in a truck. That conversation didn't lead anywhere too. My estimated repair is north of $3500 for an aftermarket, and around $5500 for ***. The Parking spot employees were fast to respond that they're not liable. I understand that they are not liable for theft of property from vehicles, but what about the vehicle itself. CATs are part of the vehicle, and it's similar to having the rims stolen. The parking spot offered to waive the parking fee, approx $120. That does not come anywhere close to what it'll cost to fix the truck. I'm hereby requesting a repair cost of $5500 to get the *** parts reinstalled on the truck.

We are sorry to hear about this guests vehicle. Because this guest self-parked in one of our lots, we would advise him to work with his insurance provider. We would be happy to provide any assistance needed to support the guests claim throughout that process.

The Parking spot was advertising rates of $8.50 a day for uncovered parking with a reservation on 11/26/21. I just drove up instead and was handed a ticket without a reservation and wasn't told the drive up rates are higher. (I prefer not to create another account giving out my personal info) Nor did I see any signs indicating this higher rate. When I left after 5 days the **** was $107 ...almost $20 a day (more than double and almost as much as parking in the airport terminal) All the attendant would say is "you were here for 5 days and that's correct". Further attempts to contact the business have failed. They won't answer questions or let me speak to a manager, giving many excuses as to why I cannot. In desired resolution the second choice I picked was modification / discontinuance of an advertised claim". What I mean by that is just better signage and communication from the business regarding higher rates without a reservation - especially if they are that much higher.

I am not sure which of our 38 locations this guest parked at, however regardless, our website encourages guests to reserve to get our best rate and to lock in a guaranteed price.

We do have multiple reservation options for guests (similar to car rental companies, hotels, and others in the travel industry), including both Pay Now and Pay Later (see the attached screenshot from our website with more details on the differences between Pay Now and Pay Later reservations).

If a guest chooses not to reserve, they are subject to our drive-up rates, which do fluctuate, but are always posted on electronic monitors adjacent to our entrance gates at each of our 38 facilities.

I am rejecting this response because:

I didn't see any obvious changing digital signage near the entrance to the property.  I have attached ****** street view images of the entrance. This is *********** South, ********************************************************************.

Even if there are signs I'm not seeing in person or in these images - it seems a bit much to charge DOUBLE the rate for a drive - up.  If I'd seen that rate I would have made a reservation or parked elsewhere.

      Sincerely,

The sign adjacent to our entry gate is highlighted in red in the attached screenshot from ****** Street View.

Our drive-up rates absolutely increased at our DFW facilities the closer to Thanksgiving a guest entered to park.  Our lot was nearly sold out for Thanksgiving.
