      Aug 17th 2023 I mailed out a questionnaire from Clear Cover Auto Insurance. I made copies for my records. Last week I received a letter which I uploaded stating my insurance would not be renewed but canceled Jan 3 ****. I called was told they never received those papers. I emailed the copies which showed the date I mailed them. Ive paid my premium for the last 6 years on time with no claims on my account. I was told they would not accept my proof to get ins elsewhere. I dont think should be punished for the postal system it wasnt my fault. My rate was very affordable to me being disabled. The rates are thru the roof now. I need to drive to work for substantial reasons to stay alive. With them canceling me other insurance companies are not willing to take me or raise rates where you cant afford it. Its totally unfair on their part. I live on Social Security work part time to help with meds and foods. I have no family left even lost my 49 year old only child 2 years ago. This is insurance issue really is stressful.

      I paid in full my policy and within a week they cancelled it. I paid almost ******* and it took me months to get a refund check and when I deposited it into my bank they put a return service on it. I still do not have any of my money back and I keep trying. I just want my money back.

      I have had Clearcover for over three years. They never required paperwork for a renewal. This year I received a cancellation at the end of my 6 month renewal (3 months from now) because I did not fill out certain paperwork that they said they mailed to me, which I never received. I contacted Clearcover to notify them that I never received the paperwork and if they can please resend it so I can fill it out before my existing policy renews and they said no they will not give me that opportunity. Its quite obvious through articles that Clearcover is trying to get out of ********** so they are attempting to cancel everyones policies with fake paperwork that they say they sent but they didnt.

      At the beginning of August I received an email from Clearcover stating that my renewal for my car coverage will be cancelled due to missing paperwork they sent me via mail. I was with Clearcover for over 8 years always made my payments on time and never had a car accident. It was weird that they sent me an email to cancel me out but not an email to let me know about the important paperwork they were requesting. Clearcover is clearly harassing their clients with these forms they are sending via mail. The family and people I recommended are also being harass even after sending the forms on time. For Example my sister got cancelled because she missed a check **** they said and we triple check the forms just to make sure because I know they are playing games and now my friend is getting emails about information on the form that they want to charge more money for excluding drivers and to sign more forms now electronically. Clearcover wants to cancel and is harassing, purposely frustrating loyal clients to change insurance because they no longer want to serve Californians. Clearcover slogan is easy, hustle free and all technology car insurance but they are cancelling car insurance renewals over some mail forms that they will not give you a second chance to fix or deal with anyway possible. Clearcover should be taken into a Class action lawsuit for frustrating and harassing now a long gone loyal customer who truly hates this company and what it stands for. Clearcover should not operate in any state or country because they just want to do whatever they please with its policies. There is no business control over this car insurance company and they need to be stop and put under control.

      We started with Clearcover January 25, 2023 because we thought they had a A+ rating. Our ******** **** GL550 fuse box blew up when a bad Relay was put in the fuse box for the Air Ride System in May. We had the car towed to Global Auto in ****** IN. The car needs a new fuse box. Global Auto assessed that a bad Relay was put in the fuse box making it blow up and start on fire. Global auto assessment said that we need a new fuse box and we would have other issues to deal with because the fuse box grounded out and other electronics would be affected by the fuse box blowing up. *************************** contacted our insurance Company Started talking to ***************** in June. starting talking with ***************** on a recorded line and we communicated with her the problem with the car and she said if we can't find a New fuse box that ClearCover would Total out the car. In **************** Auto couldn't find a fuse box in the US and communicated that with **** that no fuse box was available. After this was communicated with *****************, She ghosted us for over 2 weeks about the car. She refused to talk to us. Then we got a call from *********************, ***************** manager. ***** took over the claim. ***** authorized Global Auto to contact ******** in ******* for the part. ***** on a recorded line said if we can't find a new part in ******* our Car would be totaled out so we could get a new car. This took Two months. August 3rd roughly ****************** and ***** got notified that ******* didn't have any fuse boxes, they don't make them anymore. After we found out there were no new parts in *******, ****************** tried to get ahold of ***** to take the next step and ***** ghosted ****************** for 2 weeks with not answering the phone call. ***** finally responded August 21 with, Your insurance coverage says that we need to use a Used Part. ****************** said that is not true. My policy only covers new parts. ***** argued and said it does. **************** told her she is Illegally trying to put some one else"s policy for mine. Now we ***** involved and from Clearcover who lied and said he found a part for $250 dollars. Also Clearcover will not cover any used part for warranty or for damages to other parts of the car controlled by the Fuse box.

      July 7 2023 I spoke with Clearcover because they reached out by email stating the Hyundais would no longer be covered due to high theft rate of this particular vehicle Nationwide. The agent informed me this would be waved because we were basically grandfathered in and they would continue to cover and we dont need to worry. August 27,2023 i reached out to clear cover on regards to roadside assistance. We were told we do not have coverage any longer due to the non renewal. This was never informed to us even after we were told insurance would remain. I asked to speak to supervisor. None were available Sunday 8/27/23. ****** called back left me a vm and sent me an email on 8/28/23 Saying they wrong in telling us 7/6/23 that we would remain insured. They are telling us we will not be reinstated. This is now 8/28/23 and we do not have coverage since 8/17/23. Mistake on ClearCovers End.

      I was hit from behind while traveling *********** 10/8/**; by ********************** who was insured by Clearcover, **** - his claim #**ATNJ0058316. I was told by my **** company agent - ***************************** of ************* to get a rental car Claim#************. Repairs to my personal car took over 4 months, once done my company paid the first 30 days of rental and Clearcover would only pay $900.00. - as you can see by attached bill - it was alot more. However I never received any money from Clearcover. They requested my bank information to do a transfer. I asked for a check to be mailed. I have tried several times to contact them but never get any response or a check.

      A review of the claim revealed that a payment of $900.00 was issued to ************************* on March 3rd, 2023 via electronic funds transfer. However, it does not appear it was accepted and has since expired. We have since issued a $900.00 payment to ****** on August 24th, 2023 via check to satisfy the rental reimbursement.

      Clearcover dropped me as their insurance provider all due to missing paperwork. Clearcover claims they sent out documents for me to fill back in July. I never received it. I received an email from Clearcover stating they will be canceling my insurance effective November for not providing them with the filled document. I called to see if they could resend it as I was never aware they sent anything to my residence. The customer service, **** is a horrible person. She basically said I'm s*** out of luck and it is what it is. I've been a loyal customer for years! I made my payments on time, never missed a payment, and have NEVER filed a claim. How was I supposed to know that Clearcover sent me anything if they don't let me know via phone, email, etc. Mail gets lost in transit. It happens. How is that MY fault?!?! Am I supposed to magically know Clearcover sent me mail? As stated before I've been an excellent customer to them as I am a low-risk and an excellent driver.

      That is an unacceptable answer. Upon digging, I noticed similar issues with other policy holders whom have had their policies immaturely cancelled. Could this possibly be due to us being in ********** and the new strict laws that were placed? Could this be Clearcover's way of getting rid of their CA policy holders and use this "non receipt of underwriting document" as an excuse to get rid of us? It does seem so!! 

      As stated before, I've been a policy holder with Clearcover for a good few years. I've been diligent with all paperwork, payments made on time, never once filed a claim, I am an excellent policy holder/driver. It does seem rather strange that they claim they sent the document to my address on file. I have uploaded my email conversation with one of their "reps" and she claims it was mailed and sent me a screenshot, the zip code doesn't even match my zip code. What is she playing at? It is also strange that Clearcover lacks communication to their policy holders that they should be on the lookout for said documents via email or phone. We are NOT mind readers, how are WE supposed to know that Clearcover sent ANY mail?! In result HOW are WE supposed to fill out documents for the underwriters and get SCREWED over and get OUR policy CANCELLED?! Everything about this is very, VERY sketchy. 

      Who still uses snail mail?! In a world with digital tech, this could of been EASILY emailed. But, whatever I hate every fiber of their being and I don't want anything to do with this scam of a company any more. This company is untrustworthy, unreliable, and have become a thorn in my side.

      You can use that worthless excuse over and over again. Doesnt change the fact you s**** your policy holders over. Im done with your company. Ive moved on. All in all you guys are a POS and good riddance to all of you. Horrible company. Horrible customer service. Ignorant and untrustworthy. I NEVER received the letter! I was NEVER advised to be on the LOOKOUT for the letter. No email, no phone call. Go kick rocks. I found insurance from a reputable company at a lower price.

      On Aug 16, 2023 I spoke with and paid for 6 months of auto insurance I found online. I looked them up when I began to wonder if I did the right thing. When I Googled this company-Clear Cover-it immediately came up that it is a scam. I want my money back or at least them held accountable for scamming retirees out of their savings!

      Clearcover has been taking out insurance money for the past two years from my savings account. The month after I signed up for clearcover I was incarcerated. My sister sold the car while I was incarcerated. I had no idea my insurance was automatically withdrawn from my savings account. When I got out of prison two years later my savings account was negative. I called clearcover and they were rude to me and refused to give me my money back or show me anything saying that I said they could take the money out of my account. The price of my insurance went up while I was incarcerated too and they took the money out with no ok by me as I was incarcerated. I didnt even use the insurance as My sister sold the car. My savings has been drained for something I didnt even use. This is a huge strain on me financially and they are just rude to me about it. I can prove that I was incarcerated but they cant prove I said it was ok to take money out of my savings account for two years with the price going up. They said that they turned off the automatic payments and my policy was canceled but after reading the reviews im scared.

      You signed the Terms and conditions for autopay signed at the policy inception allowing Clearcover to take automatic payments on a monthly basis. On August 4th, 2023, You contacted Clearcover by phone and requested autopay be removed.
      You did not provide any documentation that the car was sold or otherwise not being driven, as such we are compelled to continue offering insurance on the risk until you request cancellation. 
      Your policy was canceled effective August 17th, 2023, due to non-payment of premium.

      I am rejecting this response because: I want a copy of whatever they said I signed. I agreed to 96 a month not 135. And I couldnt contact clearcover because I was incarcerated. I can prove that I was incarcerated but they cant provide me with the documents that they said I signed. My account has been drained and now is negative for something I didnt even use. I want my money back.
