      I have attached PDF documents of billing statements that show the business has switched my monthly payment amount and extra payments amounts (principal curtailment). Causing me to lose out on money going to the principal balance because of interest charges on those payments, that would enable me to pay off the loan quicker. The automatic monthly payment is set at $100 on the 7th day of every month, any amount paid outside of the due date was supposed to be a principle curtailment. The provided files will show that they have done the opposite.

      I made a payment of $10,217 to pay off the account. The check was cut June 30th and received via certified mail July 10. The check cleared the bank July 10, 2023. Unsure if the check was received, I also made payments for July and August of $135.00 that was received and posted to my account.The payment has never been credited to my account. I have contacted them almost daily for the past 45 business days, and still no resolution has come. They continue to accrue interest on my account and not respond to my emails. I've tried calling but nobody is available to talk to and the phone hangs up before I can typically leave a message. One occasion, my phone call was returned, but still no resolution was made on my account. That date was August 16.

      castle credit has charged me for late fees for a payment that they never sent to me. i had a 12 months interest free loan with them. i spoke to someone there after calling the contractor that put up my gutters. my contractor called them and they called me back in a couple of days and told me that i had **************************************************************** out a bill to start making payments. that never happened after about 45 days i tried to call them and find out what was going on and got no responds from them . two days later i received a bill in the mail with a late fee added to the amount i owed saying that i never paid my first bill and it was now over due and they added on$26.81 fee on top of that. i tried to call them over the next few weeks a total of 8 times and have not received a single call back or email from them. i believe they are a predatory company and need to investigated for their business dealings. i have read other complaints about this company and feel something must be done.

      I financed a deck through Castle Credit and it shows on the statements that you will see that my loan will be satisfactory in ****. I have attempted to pay more on the loan in previous years and noticed that the loan barely went down, when I called i was told that the interest charges sucked that up. But if you notice on the statements attached that my monthly bill is ******, I pay that amount and only ***** or ***** dollars of the entire payment is going to my bill, not the entire monthly payment. The interest and the amount that is going towards my loan still do not equal the ****** monthly payment. The loan barely goes down and it still shows I have an amount of ***** due each month. I would like to know why isnt the full ****** monthly payment going towards the loan and where is the rest of the ***** going? If it is towards the previous months interest then that needs to be stated as such. The billing is very suspiscious and I believe they need to be investigated.

      I had my shower remodeled in January 2023 by Northshore Remodeling, and it was financed thru Castle Credit. The total project cost $12,933.00 and would have been financed for 5 years.When I received my first statement I saw off the bat that they had already charged $63.14 in interest. Which I thought should not have been charged. I sent in a payment of $5,000.00 because I saw that their billing practices was suspect.. The next month I made a payment of $6,000.00. And the 3rd month that left me a balance of $2,094.51 which included $57.50. That month I paid the $2,094.51 in full.This month I received a letter (not a statement) stating that I owed $10.80. Now where did that charge come from?

      Entered by BBB staff LO Consumer had an alarm system put in ****************** and they turned him over to a collection agency. They were supposed to send someone out to fix the alarm system but they never did. They wanted $2500.00 to settle the debt which he states he paid to Castle Credit on 4/15/2023 but ****************** said they did not receive the money because they canceled with the business in 2022.

      I paid off a sliding glass dooe and front door in December of 2021 and thought I was done. Low and behold I went to refinance my house in March 2023 and they have not closed the account or report it to credit bureaus. I asked for statement of paid off and they said ***** hours and I still have no response and theres a lien against my house for a closed loan that is paid OFF!!They said its my job now to work with credit bureaus and now I cant refi all because of Castle Credit. Just a simple email with ending statement is all I need yet they cant even do that
