Castle Credit Co Holdings claims that at some point I received a loan from them. I am certain that I have never sought out this company for any financial products. Never heard of them except on my credit report.

I had my shower remodeled in January 2023 by Northshore Remodeling, and it was financed thru Castle Credit. The total project cost $12,933.00 and would have been financed for 5 years. When I received my first statement I saw off the bat that they had already charged $63.14 in interest. Which I thought should not have been charged. I sent in a payment of $5,000.00 because I saw that their billing practices was suspect.. The next month I made a payment of $6,000.00. And the 3rd month that left me a balance of $2,094.51 which included $57.50. That month I paid the $2,094.51 in full. This month I received a letter (not a statement) stating that I owed $10.80. Now where did that charge come from?

This creditor placed a lien on my house. I only learned of the lien when I applied for refinancing. My Debt has been paid off for YEARS. I called them to get a letter to prove that my debt is paid.. they will not respond to the request and never send the documents needed. They are the biggest SCAM company I have ever dealt with. While my loan was actively being paid off they reported false information to the credit bureaus as well as harassed and called my HR for one late payment.

It was in possession of FTL Finance as of 9/6/2022.Instead of cashing the check, the account was sold to Castle Credit #******, late fees were added, interest has accrued and the credit bureaus now show late on the account for 90 days. Please remove the late fees, remove the interest accrued since the $5000 full payoff was in possession and delivered as of 9/6/2022, please contact the credit bureaus to remove the lates that were reported. In September and December of 2022, I contacted Castle Credit (acct #: ******) regarding inaccurate information that they were reporting to the three major credit reporting agencies (Experian, Transunion, and Equifax). I requested a full investigation into this matter and filed a complaint with the **** (#******-9896618). On January 12th 2023, Castle Credit responded by mail stating that they completed their investigation, and that the information is correct. After reviewing my most recently updated credit report (1/24/2023), Castle Credit (and the credit agencies) have changed little-to-nothing regarding the many inconsistencies in information reported to the three major credit bureaus. Castle Credit had been given 30 days to complete an investigation into this matter yet has done nothing. Experian, Transunion, and Equifax have done nothing!! This is fraud, and Castle Credit is in violation of my rights!!! In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act, Castle Credit (and the 3 major credit bureaus) have violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC ****. 15 U.S.C **** section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C **** Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish a account without my written instructions 15 ***********. (a)(5) Section States: no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information, any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years. 15 U.S.C. ****s-2 (A)(1) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.

The following response is regarding complaint #******** filed by ************************* with the Better Business Bureau. ************** claims ********************** Holdings LLC GAFH did not fully investigate his claims of inaccurate credit reporting and that GAFH have violated his rights by reporting inaccurate information to the bureaus. **** takes every complaint seriously and can confirm that a full review of the reported credit info was completed. **** confirmed the reported information is accurate. The Installment loan opened on 12/15/2017 is being reported as Charged-off due to an unpaid balance. ************** last made a payment on 09/21/2021 and after multiple attempts to contact ************** to bring his account current, the account was finally charged-off in March of 2022.
