      Quality of meat and cheese has definitely gone down hill. I buy from HF every year. Meat was so greasy it left a pile of grease on my counter. The sale they have was buy 2 get $2.00 off. I wanted 1 meat and 1 cheese. *****, she was very friendly at ************* said you have to buy 2 meats or 2 cheeses, but the candies are all buy 2 of any and get $2.00 off. Just not fair imo. Won't be buying from HF anymore and it's not the $2.00 it's the quality. The gift sets also where very little looking in size, like the box of crackers looked like it would have 3 crackers in it. HF has gone down hill I don't know what happened to this company, completely upset.

      I've bought Hickory Farms gift boxes for many years. Some as gifts for others, but also as a New Years Eve snack with my family. This year, I bought a gift box from a local ** ****** store, marked $60 on the box. The store had it on sale for $30. Had I known that HF had cut the sizes of everything basically in half, and doubled the price, i wouldn't have even spent the $30 on what I got. The sausages are now the size of pepperoni, the cheese is literally half the thickness, only a few crackers, one small mustard, and 4 candies. With record profits, I have no doubt the big wigs are giving themselves nice big bonuses. I basically paid $30 for a box of crinkled brown paper. Come on, Hickory Farms! You can definitely do better than this! Sincerely, a family of very disappointed and disgusted former customers.

      So disappointed. I canceled an order 2 days after placing it because a pop-up store clerk inputted the shipping information incorrectly. I have been trying to get a refund for the cancelled order since December 7, 2023, six weeks ago. I have made 4 calls to **************** whose representatives' English is very difficult to understand. I sent an email to ****************. No response after waiting 20 days. I just sent a second email to **************** but have little hope of getting an answer. I tried a phone number other than the **************** number and only got a busy signal. This is not the Hickory Farms business I remember. I will never order from them again and will caution others to do the same. Absolutely horrible ****************.

      We ordered the Grand Basket as a gift and received a small box. The only reason we found out was because ***** sent a picture of the delivery. I have argued with HF for almost a month for a refund which they said was denied until I showed them the order w/tracking and ***** picture with the tracking number and still they were trying to deny a refund. Once I threatened to contact BBB and ***, they admitted the package was lost but wanted to send a replacement. It's mid-January, a little late for Xmas and the damage is already done. I did check today prior to filing with the *** and my refund is finally processing but nobody bothered to let me know that. Wish I would have checked the online reviews at BBB before we ordered! We won't use Hickory Farms again.

      Hickory Farms sends me numerous catalogs around the holidays. I have used them in the past and again this holiday season, 2023 I ordered from their catalog. They took my order and I have found out from one of the recipient that it arrived without a name of who sent it. After calling Hickory to find out about this I got no explanation. I was told they did not have a record of any of the other orders that I had placed with them. I do not know what happened to the order that I placed by phone with them and they have no explanation. I assume the gifts that I ordered from them for my other friends never arrived since I have not heard from my friends. I will never order any thing from them again because this is very upsetting to think your holiday gifts to your friends never arrived. After reading some of the other reviews it seems that this is a pattern.

      HORRIBLE..!!!Items were promised for delivery before Christmas..as of today 1-3-2024 not received and according to Company phone personnel NO IDEA IF OR WHEN PACKAGES WILL BE DELIVERED !!!!!!! Im a 40+ years customer been forced out from a company that was part of my life for so many years!

      I requested to cancel an order on 11/24 and was told I would receive a refund within 48 hours, weeks later I received a shipment notification so once again I requested a refund on 12/11 and was told AGAIN I was told its too late for a refund once an item has shipped. After SEVERAL emails back and forth with what seem to be non English speaking customer service reps, I was told once again I would receive a refund 48 hours after the item was received. The item was received on 12/14 and it is now 12/27. I have received nothing. I reached out again and it appears they have ZERO notes of any prior conversations. At this point I dont know where else to turn. ***** disappointed with a company my family has ordered from for many many years. Buyers beware!

      @************** Had the same experience! Very disappointing! Took 3 calls to get someone to understand my order was not delivered the week of Dec. 11th, as I had requested. I was then told it would be delivered on 12/22, and it was not. The ***** number provided showed "label created on 11/22 in ********, **". The item never moved. Also, when I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told non available. I have purchased Hickory Farms products for years and will NEVER purchase again! Also, the only reason 1 start is selected is because they would not let me post without selecting one. Otherwise it would be minus 5 stars!

      We have ordered from Hickory Farms for many years without incident. However, this year was an unmitigated disaster. Apparently, they out sourced their customer service to another country, because we had to call multiple times before we got someone we could understand. We placed two orders to be delivered the week before Christmas. One order was shipped the week before Thanksgiving and the other was inexplicably cancelled. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told none were available. We will NEVER order from this company again! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

      Got food poisoning and stabbed in the gums by a piece of wood and they respond by sending me a coupon. What is a coupon going to do for me missing 3 days of work unpaid?
